Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1307: Chapter 692: The Fight (Part 3)

Zeng Yeng nodded.

Zhou Yun: ”From what I know about Wen Bing, he definitely won’t agree to this.”

Zeng Yeng looked at Zhou Yun and asked: ”So, do you also think they’re actually fond of each other?”

”I really don’t know.” Zhou Yun remained tight-lipped, ”I’m just saying, if Wen Bing really likes Lucia and you ask him to wait until the movie is finished to say anything, he won’t agree. This isn’t a foreign company where office romances are forbidden. You didn’t sign a contract with Wen Bing saying he couldn’t date actresses from the crew, did you?”

Zeng Yeng: ”I thought, no matter what, everyone would at least maintain a professional attitude.”

”Dating doesn’t necessarily affect work.” Zhou Yun shook her head, ”Especially for Wen Bing.”

Neither she nor Zeng Yeng could persuade the other.

Zhou Yun genuinely hoped Zeng Yeng wouldn’t interfere in Wen Bing and Lucia’s affairs. Zhou Yun knew the type of person Wen Bing was — once someone attempted to stop his romance with Lucia, his love for her would only burn more fiercely.

Zhou Yun wasn’t sure if Zeng Yeng understood this.

Perhaps, Zeng Yeng didn’t know Wen Bing well enough.

Zhou Yun worried that if Zeng Yeng didn’t watch her words, it would infuriate Wen Bing.

And Zhou Yun’s worries were justified, as Zeng Yeng indeed made Wen Bing utterly furious.

”I’m in a relationship with Lucia, so what? Are you going to stop us from loving each other?” If it wasn’t Zeng Yeng, Wen Bing might not have gotten so angry.

But recently, many conflicts had already arisen between Wen Bing and Zeng Yeng, and this event was like a sharp sword piercing through the fragile peace they had managed to maintain.

Wen Bing was a man with a strong sense of pride, and Zeng Yeng’s words hinted at Lucia’s young age, which Wen Bing interpreted as her accusing him of robbing the cradle.

Of course, compared to Lucia’s age, Wen Bing was indeed much older, with a six or seven-year gap, but he didn’t feel it amounted to robbing the cradle.

Wen Bing was somewhat angry and embarrassed.

This incident led to a fierce argument between Wen Bing and Zeng Yeng.

”Have you considered that you’re the director and she’s an actress, and you’re filming a movie together? You’re in love now, but what if you fall out of love halfway through filming? Can the movie still go on?” Zeng Yeng questioned.

Wen Bing said: ”I’m a professional director, and she’s a professional actress. Why can’t the movie continue filming?”

Zeng Yeng: ”Seeing you two so inseparable during filming strikes me as very unprofessional behavior.”

”Whether I’m a professional director is not for you to decide.” Wen Bing replied directly.

Zeng Yeng couldn’t help but sneer.

”Yes, you’re the great director, and I’m just an unknown producer, but as the producer of this crew, no matter how big a director you are, I have to ensure nothing affects the filming of this movie.”

Wen Bing nodded, also speaking harshly.

”Really? Then try to stop it and see if you succeed.” Wen Bing and Zeng Yeng parted on bad terms.

Within half a day, the entire crew knew that the producer and director had clashed again.

Zhou Yun heard the news and sighed inwardly — just as expected.

Both parties seemed to have valid points, standing firmly in their positions, with no one being obviously unreasonable.

However, it was truly an unsolvable problem.

Given Zeng Yeng’s character, she certainly wouldn’t yield on this matter.

But with Wen Bing’s personality, he was unlikely to agree with Zeng Yeng’s views.

Zhou Yun didn’t know how things would turn out between the two of them, but as their conflict officially unfolded, the atmosphere of the crew began to change.

The person most affected by this change was Lucia.

Gradually, everyone learned about the root of the conflict between Zeng Yeng and Wen Bing, and they also found out that this beautiful Danish girl was involved in a romance with director Wen Bing.

It’s not surprising when actresses and directors fall in love.

However, the fact that they started a romance shortly after meeting was quite unusual.

Everyone turned their eyes towards Lucia Banks, filled with scrutiny, curiosity, and gossip.

It’s been said many times that rumors never go out of fashion anywhere and are never scorned.

Everyone was curious and doubtful about where Wen Bing and Lucia’s relationship would lead.

This news quietly spread out.
