Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1328: Chapter 699: Breakup (3)

The conflict between Wen Bing and Lucia hasn’t been resolved.

On set, Zhou Yun could clearly feel the coldness between Lucia and Wen Bing.

Initially, Zhou Yun thought these two would be upset for just a few days and then make up.

It’s normal for couples to have conflicts.

However, as time went by, there seemed to be no signs of a thaw between Lucia and Wen Bing.

Zhou Yun noticed that Wen Bing’s eyes showed impatience when he looked at Lucia.

This wasn’t a good sign.

Would the two of them break up over this?

Feelings are never stable, really.

Wen Bing and Lucia fell for each other too quickly, without truly knowing each other.

Their love was essentially built on the impulsiveness of infatuation at first sight.

Such feelings are often detached from reality, exceptionally romantic, but also vulnerable to real-life challenges, unable to withstand storms.

In fact, Wen Bing wasn’t wrong in one thing he said.

Lucia was too young.

Even if she wasn’t as naive as she appeared, she was still young. Young people are easily impulsive.

If Lucia decided to break up with Wen Bing on an impulse, it wouldn’t be impossible.

Even if this whole thing may not seem like a big deal to others.

After filming in Italy, Zeng Yeng kept her promise and took everyone on a trip to Rome.

A vacation.

Everyone could move around freely.

Zhou Yun initially thought that Wen Bing and Lucia could use this time to have a good chat and resolve their previous conflict.

But things did not go as Zhou Yun had imagined.

When Zhou Yun was about to step out, already dressed up, she happened to run into Wen Bing and Lucia quarreling in the hallway.

Lucia, emotionally agitated, questioned Wen Bing about something.

Wen Bing, with a face full of impatience and irritation, listened, his eyes no longer showing the affection he once had for Lucia.

Witnessing this scene, Zhou Yun paused, too embarrassed to walk over.

She stood there awkwardly.

Suddenly, a sneering sound came from behind her.

Zhou Yun turned around.

Zeng Yeng had somehow shown up, standing right behind her, her arms crossed over her chest.

”This is why I didn’t support relationships within the crew before,” she said.

To Zhou Yun, Zeng Yeng’s words sounded particularly harsh.

She said, ”Sister Yeng, the conflict between them has been ongoing for a while, but it hasn’t affected the crew’s normal filming.”

Zeng Yeng said, ”But how long can it last? They might not be affected, but what about others? Should I always count on them to be as rational as Wen Bing and Lucia?”

Zhou Yun was left speechless.

Zeng Yeng probably realized that what she had just said was somewhat excessive.

”What I mean is, we can’t gamble on something unknown.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Sister Yeng, you should know why those two are fighting, right?”

Zeng Yeng: ”Of course I know.”

”Since you know, then it’s easy to resolve. What I mean is, Sister Yeng, Wen Bing is my friend, so I might not be able to view this situation very rationally. If it wasn’t for the way you handled things, Lucia and Wen Bing wouldn’t have argued,” Zhou Yun said to Zeng Yeng. ”To be honest, I share your view; I don’t see Wen Bing and Lucia’s relationship lasting either, but I’d prefer they figure out they aren’t suitable themselves rather than having external factors change their feelings. I don’t know how well you know Wen Bing, but he’s someone who falls in love very easily. In my opinion, his judgment of character isn’t great either. Every time, he’s easily deceived by the innocent appearances of women. I’d like to scold him too, but this isn’t the time for that. I don’t mean to criticize you; I just want to say, you shouldn’t ridicule them at a time like this.”

Zhou Yun took a deep breath.

”I’ve said a bit too much, Sister Yeng, just pretend I didn’t say anything.”

Zeng Yeng was stunned for quite a while, looking at Zhou Yun, hesitating to speak.

Zhou Yun turned and went back to her room.

Half an hour later, someone knocked on the door.

Zhou Yun glanced through the peephole on the door.

Wen Bing stood at the door, looking uneasy.

Zhou Yun opened the door.

Wen Bing glanced at her, scratched his head, seeming quite embarrassed, as if he didn’t know how to start.

”Are you looking for me?”

Wen Bing said, ”Did you see when Lucia and I were fighting just now?”

Zhou Yun nodded slightly.

”I ran into you two, didn’t hear what you were arguing about, don’t worry.”

”That’s good.” Wen Bing let out a relieved smile, but Zhou Yun could see that the relief in his smile was feigned.

Zhou Yun asked, ”You...”

She looked at Wen Bing suspiciously.

Wen Bing took a deep breath and exhaled.

”Lucia and I broke up.”
