Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1351: Chapter 707: Dangerous Scenes (Part 2)

Wen Bing also noticed the decline in Zhou Yun’s state.

In this regard, there was nothing anyone could do, Zhou Yun could only rely on herself to persevere.

This was the longest shooting period for any film Zhou Yun had worked on, including TV dramas; she had never worked on a project that spanned almost five months.

The shooting time for a commercial action blockbuster was really too long.

Shortening it wasn’t possible because it required this length of time, with international shooting, shifting scenes, and complex coordination.

This was actually a remarkable production for New Shield as well.

A cross-national filming team of over a hundred people was rarely seen even in a well-experienced company like New Shield.

One day, Zhou Yun was utterly exhausted; it was the first time she asked for leave from the crew due to her condition.

”I really can’t continue,” Zhou Yun said to Wen Bing, ”Every time I think about acting, I’m uncomfortable all over. I need to adjust my mood.”

Wen Bing fully understood.

He said, ”Take a walk around. I’ll film other scenes in the next few days, and you don’t need to rush back tomorrow. I’ll give you some time, rest well and come back once you feel better.”

Zhou Yun didn’t return to her country.

She took Zheng Xiaojue and Liu Yun to the city museum.

She even turned off her phone.

No one could contact her.

Zhou Yun quietly spent a day in the museum, doing nothing but calmly observing the artifacts on display.

It wasn’t anything else; it was the prolonged combat that caused fatigue to both her body and mind.

This fatigue severely weighed on her heart, preventing her from performing with dedication.

If possible, Zhou Yun really wished she could give herself a small vacation, to temporarily forget about the crew and change her environment.

But that was impossible.

How could she possibly give herself a small vacation?

The crew was waiting for her return to continue filming.

Zhou Yun struggled and held on until the end of June, finally approaching the wrap-up.

It wasn’t just Zhou Yun; many in the crew had lost weight.

No one wasn’t working hard.

Including Zeng Yeng.

On a sunny day, during the filming of the last few scenes,

Zhou Yun was filming an outdoor scene on an exposed grassland.

Sitting on the grass, she looked up at the sky, as blue as if washed, finally feeling it was over.

Wen Bing suddenly came over and sat next to her.

”Where’s Lucia?” Zhou Yun hadn’t seen Lucia today, so she asked him.

Wen Bing said, ”Her agent got her an audition opportunity, she’s gone to the United States.”

”No wonder I didn’t see her today.” Zhou Yun smiled.

Lucia occasionally appeared on the set during this time.

This time Zeng Yeng didn’t say anything.

Wen Bing said, ”Her leaving is actually fine. To be honest, I don’t want her on the set now, but every time I stop her, she says I don’t love her anymore, and it annoys me.”

Zhou Yun listened to Wen Bing without responding.

She thought, it is up to you to reconcile, and where this relationship goes is also your own responsibility.

Zhou Yun said, ”I just want to wrap up quickly, find a secluded forest spot, and seclude myself for a few days, where no one can find me.”

Wen Bing said, ”This film has been exhausting for you, it’s been hard.”

”Wen Bing, I’ve genuinely been good to you, I’ve never filmed for such a long time.” Zhou Yun gave him a sidelong glance, ”If it weren’t for you directing, I might not have taken this film.”

At the beginning, when Wen Bing approached her, saying he wanted to turn Qiu Qian, the female assassin from ”Two Tigers,” into a movie.

She didn’t give it much thought, just agreed and said alright.

Because it was Wen Bing, she agreed right away.

That simple.

Wen Bing: ”I know, you are my greatest assurance in making this movie.”

Zhou Yun shot him another glance and said, ”No matter what, I’m resolved, I won’t join a group back-to-back like this again. It’s too tiring, too exhausting; I’ve been forcing myself to stay energetic these days.”

Wen Bing nodded.

”Me too, I’ve been shooting three films non-stop over the past two years. I also want to take a good break.”

Zhou Yun: ”I don’t think Yao Yuanfeng will easily let you rest though.”

Now, Wen Bing’s ”Two Tigers” has become a cash cow for New Shield, and the development of a sequel has already been scheduled.

Wen Bing said, ”No matter what, after shooting this film, I’m going on vacation first.”
