Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1344: Chapter 705: Fashion Genre

In the country, there hasn’t been a truly successful fashion-themed drama.

However, many people actually know that this genre of film and television is a natural tool for making money.

How many brands want to do product placements in this type of movie or TV show?

Production companies can really rake in the money.

This drama is a co-development between VX and Chengqian, and in a certain sense, it’s also a promotional drama for VX.

But apart from VX, this drama has a lot of space for product placement. When filming started, almost every brand actively approached to discuss sponsorship. Big brands were willing to lend products for filming, and small brands were willing to pay for placements. In the end, even before the drama officially sold, its costs were basically recouped.

Now that it’s airing, it’s not just the production company and platform that are promoting it.

The brands involved in product placement are also making every effort to promote this drama.

Because there are very few fashion-themed dramas in the country.

Having one is beneficial for stimulating consumer interest in the entire industry.

Zhou Yun can’t come back for the promotion, but that’s okay. It’s the internet age; we can do live streaming and online connections.

Zhou Jianfeng and Cheng Shenlv suddenly have more on their schedules, making them as busy as spinning tops.

This is exactly the busy state they’ve both dreamed of.

For artists not yet successfully entering the A-list, many hope to be as busy as possible. Being busy means more chances for exposure, meaning they’re popular and people are willing to offer them job opportunities.

Zhou Jianfeng is Chengqian’s promoted male actor, and this time during the promotion period, Chengqian Entertainment is also pushing him as a leading actor.

On the night of the premiere, Chengqian Entertainment even arranged a live online conversation between Zhou Yun and Zhou Jianfeng before the official broadcast to elevate Zhou Jianfeng.

Zhou Yun didn’t mind helping Zhou Jianfeng out.

Zhou Jianfeng always maintained a humble attitude in front of Zhou Yun.

During this live online conversation, Zhou Jianfeng constantly sought advice on acting matters.

Zhou Yun thought that with such a conversation, if they only talked about theoretical stuff, viewers might not be interested.

So she took the initiative to bring up some interesting topics.

”Jianfeng, have you been very busy lately?”

Zhou Jianfeng shook his head and said, ”Not really, not really.”

Zhou Yun laughed and said, ”Sorry, because I’m filming abroad, the responsibility for promotion has to be handed over to you all.”

Zhou Jianfeng smiled shyly.

”Thanks, Sister Xiao Yun, for giving us the opportunity.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”After filming ’Under the Grand Dress’, do you have any other roles?”

Zhou Jianfeng nodded and said, ”I’ve filmed two other TV dramas and one movie.”

Zhou Yun was a bit surprised and said, ”That’s hard work.”

Zhou Jianfeng said, ”The agent says we should seize the opportunity now.”

Zhou Yun nodded and said, ”Your agent is right.”

Zhou Jianfeng was curious and asked, ”Sister Xiao Yun, did you get injured a lot filming ’Female Assassin’?”

”Yes,” Zhou Yun nodded, ”but filming action scenes is really exciting. I think someone cool like you would also enjoy filming action scenes.”

Zhou Jianfeng scratched his head and said, ”I also really want to do action films, but haven’t had the chance, and no action films have approached me.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”Do you know martial arts?”

Zhou Jianfeng shook his head.

Zhou Yun said, ”If you want to do action films, practicing martial arts in advance would be beneficial for you.”

”Okay,” Zhou Jianfeng nodded.

Zhou Jianfeng is a bit of a reserved person.

So, this conversation had to rely on Zhou Yun to lead the pace.

Zhou Yun knows Zhou Jianfeng’s character well, so she naturally took up the role of directing the conversation.

”When did you become interested in acting?” Zhou Yun asked.

Zhou Jianfeng said, ”In high school.”

”Oh?” Zhou Yun asked, ”Do you remember the reason?”

Zhou Jianfeng’s cheeks turned slightly red and said, ”I watched Song Chi’s ’Light Messenger’ and thought Brother Chi was very charming. I became a fan of his, and that’s when I started dreaming of becoming an actor.”

Zhou Yun was stunned.

”Huh? Song Chi?”

Viewers watching the live broadcast were also surprised.

They didn’t expect Song Chi to be mentioned in the answer to this question.

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”Come on, be honest. Don’t say you’re a fan of Song Chi just because I asked.”
