Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1338: Chapter 703: Bruise

Zhou Yun stood at the door, listening to the conversation between Zeng Yeng and Wen Bing, and couldn’t help but sigh.

Wen Bing was just that kind of person, with that kind of personality.

She also felt that Wen Bing was a bit indecisive and not decisive enough. If it wasn’t like that, the breakup with Windsor wouldn’t have dragged on for so long.

And it’s the same with Lucia this time.

But that’s just Wen Bing.

Zhou Yun had known that all along.

If he wasn’t someone who couldn’t be ruthless, he wouldn’t be Wen Bing, and he wouldn’t have made a film like ”Life”.

Zhou Yun was just thinking about how she could help Wen Bing.

Zeng Yeng came out of the room a bit annoyed, and when she saw Zhou Yun standing at the door, she paused.

She looked at Zhou Yun and asked, ”Did you hear all of that just now?”

Zhou Yun nodded.

Zeng Yeng asked, ”I’m really curious about one thing right now, is it that I’m too cold-blooded, or is Wen Bing too indecisive?”

From the anger on Zeng Yeng’s face, it was clear she was very dissatisfied with the communication she just had with Wen Bing.

Zhou Yun could understand Zeng Yeng’s dissatisfaction.

She glanced at Zeng Yeng and said, ”Sister Yeng, Wen Bing is a kind person who doesn’t want to hurt others. Since he said he wants to communicate with Lucia, let them talk it out.”

Zeng Yeng sneered slightly and said, ”As expected, no matter what, you’ll always stand by his side and support him, won’t you?”

If Zhou Yun remembered correctly, this should be the first time Zeng Yeng so directly expressed this attitude in front of her.

A bit surprised, Zhou Yun shrugged and said, ”I... you can understand it that way, and you’re not wrong. Wen Bing is my friend, so I’ll support him, just like that.”

Zeng Yeng’s eyes showed a genuine puzzlement.

”I’m really curious, if one day Wen Bing killed someone, would you help him hide the murder weapon too?”

Zhou Yun blinked and smiled slightly, saying, ”I’d believe that he was framed. If Wen Bing could kill someone, he wouldn’t be Wen Bing. Sister Yeng, do you think I’d choose my friends without considering their character?”

Zeng Yeng said, ”I’m just curious, where does your support for him stop?”

”At least not with Lucia, and not with New Shield,” Zhou Yun said, ”No matter what, this incident has surely caused you a lot of trouble. You’ve worked hard.”

Zeng Yeng shook her head helplessly and didn’t complain further this time because she already knew that no matter how much she complained, it would merely be just that—complaints.

Zhou Yun was not going to take her side.

Let alone help her deal with Wen Bing.

After watching Zeng Yeng leave, Zhou Yun walked into the room.

Wen Bing sat in a chair with his hands clasped behind his head, looking as if he was in a state of headache and not knowing what to do.

This was his office room. The desk was messy, piled with lots of materials, many of which were his ideas and storyboards for the film’s future scenes.

After Zhou Yun came in, Wen Bing glanced up at her, and seeing it was her, he lowered his head again and sighed in frustration.

”You know too?” Wen Bing asked.

Zhou Yun pulled a stool from the side and placed it in front of Wen Bing’s desk, sitting down.

”Seems like you seriously upset the young lady,” Zhou Yun made a helpless gesture, ”See, this is the consequence of not handling things well. Now trouble has come, right?”

Wen Bing said, ”Don’t come to laugh at me. I already have a big headache.”

”What do you plan to do?” Zhou Yun asked.

A melancholy look appeared on Wen Bing’s face.

”I’ll send her an email first and hope she can give me an explanation,” Wen Bing said, ”I know I have wronged her in many ways, but before she left, she never criticized me like this.”

”Because you’re the director. In her eyes, you’re the most powerful person in this crew,” Zhou Yun said, ”That’s just my guess. I don’t really know what she truly thinks, but as a fellow girl, being alone in this unfamiliar crew, she probably didn’t dare to confront you directly.”

”I didn’t expect her to have such a big issue with me.”

”In breakups, there’s always disagreement. If it wasn’t significant, why break up in the first place?” Zhou Yun said, ”You ended things with her so decisively back then, she probably had a lot of dissatisfaction with you, that’s why.”
