Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1319: Chapter 696: A Surprise for You (3)

Wen Bing didn’t speak.

”However, I’m not here to explain myself to you. I know you have a lot of emotions to express and a lot to release. I want to tell you that I’m willing to make concessions for you. If you want, I fully support you in making the film you truly want to make, without worrying about what others think. You can shoot entirely according to your vision. But, you also have to promise me that after shooting a film based on your ideas, you will make a profitable movie for me, like ’Two Tigers’. Is that okay? I am willing to support you in making films that may not earn much money, but I manage a company, and hundreds of people need to eat. I can’t keep taking risks with you, so after you make a box-office hit like ’Two Tigers’, I will support you in making a low-cost film where you can shoot it however you want. I respect you, and I will make sure they respect you too.”

Based on Wen Bing’s understanding of Yao Yuanfeng, this was already a significant compromise.

Wen Bing hadn’t expected Yao Yuanfeng to do this.

He looked at Yao Yuanfeng in shock.

”What’s wrong? Why are you looking at me like that? Do you think this isn’t something I would do?” Yao Yuanfeng smiled, ”Wen Bing, I’ve said before, you’re the director I admire the most. I hope more than anyone else that you become a world-class director, but before that, we have a long way to go. You’re not just an art film director; you should create uniquely styled films. Whether commercial or artistic, your personal style will shine through.”

Wen Bing never thought Yao Yuanfeng could speak so well.

He knew Yao Yuanfeng was a good speaker, but he didn’t know Yao Yuanfeng could say things that truly touched his heart.

Truth be told, Yao Yuanfeng’s words today moved Wen Bing.

·

Wen Bing and Lucia’s relationship was like all couples in love; at the beginning, it was the closest.

When Lucia wasn’t filming, she stayed on set, sneaking in moments with Wen Bing.

Although this moment made everyone feel somewhat uncomfortable, it fortunately didn’t disrupt the crew’s filming, so everyone just accepted it.

Zhou Yun couldn’t stand it.

Regarding Wen Bing’s behavior of being close with Lucia on set, Zhou Yun couldn’t help but roll her eyes whenever she saw it.

After all, it’s a workplace, not a romantic setting like by the river or on a bridge.

Of course, Zhou Yun didn’t express her opinion to Wen Bing.

It’s just her personal dislike, and they didn’t do anything really inappropriate.

But Wen Bing, as Zhou Yun said before, was inspired by the romance with Lucia, fueling his passion for filmmaking.

In April, filming in Gambian ended.

The crew moved to Italy.

There’s an intense, pivotal scene in Italy.

According to the script, the entire city is nearly destroyed.

Zhou Yun didn’t know how Wen Bing and the team would film this grand scene.

She just intensified her fitness regime.

Based on the script design, when Qiu Qian reaches the Italian city, she’s already gone through various dangers while escaping.

Her condition is more disheveled and colder.

Zhou Yun wanted to make her appearance tougher.

Song Chi suddenly flew over.

He appeared on set, giving Zhou Yun a huge surprise.

”Xiao Yun.” Song Chi suddenly embraced her from behind.

For a moment, Zhou Yun thought she heard wrong or was imagining it.

”Why did you come?” Zhou Yun looked at Song Chi with joy. Before Song Chi could reply, she excitedly hugged him, kissed him passionately, and embraced him.

There were many people around, but at that moment, everyone understood the kiss between Zhou Yun and Song Chi, and even felt a little envious, thinking about their own loved ones.

Working abroad for so long, not everyone had the conditions to bring their partners along.

Everyone missed their loved ones dearly.

Zhou Yun raised her head, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Song Chi.

”You haven’t told me yet, why did you suddenly come?” Zhou Yun asked.

Song Chi smiled and said, ”You kept blocking my mouth, so I couldn’t answer.”

Zhou Yun: ”Then quickly tell me.”

”I have a few days off, so I came to see you.” Song Chi still held Zhou Yun, ”To give you a surprise.”
