Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1306: Chapter 692: Fighting (2)

Zeng Yeng shook her head, ”I’m praying to every god I know, hoping none of those people show up in my crew.”

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but feel amused by what Zeng Yeng said.

She said, ”Sister Yeng, you can’t just write everyone off like that.”

Zeng Yeng: ”That’s because you’re not a producer. You haven’t encountered this kind of situation yet. When the trouble comes, all your threats and inducements are useless. People in relationships don’t care about anything, like they’ve been bewitched.”

Zeng Yeng looked disgusted.

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but teasingly ask, ”Sister Yeng, have you ever been bewitched and careless with Mr. Chen?”

Zeng Yeng was caught off guard by Zhou Yun’s sudden question, and after a moment, she blushed.

”Why are you suddenly bringing him and me up?”

”Just curious. I can’t imagine you, Sister Yeng, being so decisive and commanding, getting lost in a relationship.” Zhou Yun teased.

Zeng Yeng turned the tables: ”What about you? Have you and Song Chi ever been reckless?”

Zeng Yeng thought Zhou Yun wouldn’t answer directly, but surprisingly, Zhou Yun nodded candidly and said, ”Of course we have.”

”Really? You two still have times when you’re reckless?”

”Rarely, but yes, we have.” Zhou Yun said, ”That’s what love is, isn’t it?”

Zeng Yeng was amused by Zhou Yun’s sudden sentiment.

”You two definitely don’t seem like the reckless type.”

Zhou Yun said, ”That only shows that we’re better at pretending. Is there really anyone in this world completely untouched by emotions?”

Zeng Yeng said helplessly, ”But honestly, Wen Bing is talented, really talented, but he’s also an idealist, too much of an idealist.”

Zhou Yun laughed.

”There’s no helping it. His passion for film, his understanding of the camera, all come from his idealism about the world.”

”Exactly.” Zeng Yeng nodded, ”But I have to be the string tied to the balloon, I can’t let it just float up into the sky, otherwise it might face pressures it can’t handle.”

”Sister Yeng, do you think Wen Bing will someday become a master director?” Zhou Yun suddenly asked.

Zeng Yeng pondered for a long while and said, ”I guess you’re expecting a definite answer, but honestly, I don’t know. I’ve never considered what the future holds for him. Once you have expectations for the future, it affects your judgment of our current situation. I demand myself to be pragmatic, especially when the director is an idealist, I should be more pragmatic.”

Her face actually showed traces of time and age.

Of course, not obvious.

Zhou Yun gazed at Zeng Yeng, saying, ”Sister Yeng, I actually just wanted to say, regardless if Wen Bing and Lucia have feelings for each other as you said, it’s something you can’t stop.”

Zeng Yeng spread her hands in a gesture of helplessness.

”Wen Bing isn’t a rational creator; the fuller his emotions are, the more he films like a true artist.” Zhou Yun said, ”The Female Assassin is actually a very romantic script. I’m not talking about romantic love; Qiu Qian, this female assassin, is lonely, indifferent, no matter where she appears, in whatever environment, she walks the edges of the world like a shadow. But, everyone who finishes reading the script knows that deep down, she still harbors a bit of tenderness. That tenderness is the most extreme romance in the film, and if we capture that romance, the film succeeds.”

Zeng Yeng gently sighed.

”Xiao Yun, so you and Wen Bing are creators, and I’m different. I can only ever be a meticulous manager.” Zeng Yeng said, ”What you just said to me, I really can’t understand at all.”

Zhou Yun was stunned.

Zeng Yeng: ”I’m not deliberately opposing you, I truly don’t understand, I’m not lying.”

Zhou Yun pursed her lips helplessly.

”Sister Yeng, if Wen Bing and Lucia really date, what do you plan to do?” She asked.

Zeng Yeng said: ”I hope they can temporarily restrain their feelings, if they really want to date, at least wait until this movie is finished.”

”Do you plan to directly tell Wen Bing that?” Zhou Yun asked.
