Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1300: Chapter 690: 1 Man and 1 Woman_2

She didn’t ask why, she just said: ”Okay.”

Zeng Yeng replied with a grateful laughing face.

Actually, Zhou Yun could more or less guess why Zeng Yeng didn’t want others from the crew to see Chen Yiping.

Zeng Yeng is a producer, and now while she’s on the job, what would people think if they saw her with her fiancé?

Considering her usual conduct, Zeng Yeng doesn’t want this kind of ”unprofessional” impression on herself.

After landing, Zeng Yeng and Chen Yiping separated.

Zhou Yun and the others got on a car to the hotel.

She met Zeng Yeng at the hotel again.

Zeng Yeng was alone, smiled when she saw Zhou Yun, took off her sunglasses, and hesitated to speak.

Zhou Yun guessed that she might want to explain what happened earlier.

She smiled, proactively brought up the topic, and asked, ”Is Mr. Chen here on a business trip? Did the schedules just happen to overlap?”

Zeng Yeng nodded immediately, saying, ”Yes, I didn’t plan for everyone to know, but I ran into you by such a coincidence. I even specifically chose a flight schedule to avoid everyone.”

Zhou Yun: ”It’s okay.”

Zeng Yeng said, ”Oh, mainly I didn’t want any misunderstandings.”

Zhou Yun: ”Yes, it’s better to have fewer problems than more.”

They exchanged smiles.

Zeng Yeng seemed truly relieved now, thinking that Zhou Yun genuinely understood her.

Zhou Yun said, ”Sister Yeng, if you’ll be marrying him in the fall, is the wedding going to be held together?”

Zeng Yeng: ”It’s uncertain now. Both of us are quite busy, and there are too many things to manage for a wedding. But now we’ve hired a company to handle things for us. If we do get married, please come if you have time.”

”Sure.” Zhou Yun nodded, ”I’ve acted in some films before, the only female producer I’ve met before was Shi Luoqi, besides her, you’re the second one.”

Zeng Yeng nodded: ”That’s why I really appreciate President Yao. It was he who gave me the opportunity.”

This sounded truly sincere.

After handling the check-in, Zhou Yun went to her room to rest.

Standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, Zhou Yun saw the outside bathed in golden sunlight, the brightness was almost dazzling.

She didn’t feel tired. Being new here, she rather wanted to explore outside, so she took along Cao Jun, Zheng Xiaojue, Liu Yun, and a few other bodyguards, and went out.

The temperature wasn’t as high as Zhou Yun imagined before she arrived.

They walked through the crowd, attracting a lot of attention. After all, a group like them obviously were foreigners, looking distinctly different from the locals, whether in appearance or dress.

Zheng Xiaojue loved shopping.

She was interested in many exquisite handicrafts, bought a lot while bargaining in a seemingly nonsensical fashion, how exactly she struck a deal was unclear.

Zhou Yun wasn’t particularly interested in these things, she looked more, bought less.

Then, she saw Wen Bing and a blonde, blue-eyed woman intimately walking in front.

Zhou Yun paused.

”Sister Xiao Yun, what’s wrong?” Zheng Xiaojue still didn’t know what was happening.

Zhou Yun came back to herself, shook her head, and said, ”Nothing.”

Regarding Wen Bing’s affairs, Zhou Yun instinctively chose to keep it to herself.

But, who was that woman beside Wen Bing?

She had never seen that blonde, blue-eyed beauty before.

The point was, that beauty was acting so intimately with Wen Bing?

That definitely wasn’t a normal relationship.

Radar beeped in Zhou Yun’s mind.

She took out her phone and messaged Wen Bing: ”Where are you?”

Wen Bing replied a long while later: ”Gambian, you made it here?”

Zhou Yun: ”Yes, I’m outside exploring. I saw you with a stunning beauty, who’s she?”

Wen Bing: ”Lucia Banks, she’s going to play the female assassin chasing after you in the film.”

Zhou Yun realized.

Turns out it’s her.

She said: ”I see some chemistry between you two, or is it just my imagination?”

Wen Bing: ”Let’s talk later.”

Seeing Wen Bing’s reply, Zhou Yun chuckled, understood.

That wasn’t ”talk later,” it was an implicit confirmation.

Zhou Yun only found it incredible. When did Wen Bing arrive in Gambian? A few days ago at most? How suddenly did he hook up with Lucia Banks? This foreign actress hadn’t appeared in Australia before, she must’ve met him here in Gambian, such a short time, and they’ve already clicked?
