Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 947: Chapter 580: My Dad Is Looking for You_3

”Wow.” Zhou Yun asked, ”That fast?”

”Yeah.” Yuk Chu nodded, ”Because I told Sister Lan that I want to focus on my career for the next few years. I may not be able to compete for major S+ dramas now, so I’ll just take more roles and be a work model to boost my name. Sister Lan agreed with my idea.”

Yuk Chu’s eyes were bright; she looked more energetic than a year ago.

”That’s great.” Zhou Yun nodded, saying, ”You can definitely do it, I believe in you.”

”By the way, Yin Zhou has made his decision too,” Yuk Chu suddenly said.

”Hm?” Zhou Yun asked, ”Is it about that thing?”

”Yes.” Yuk Chu nodded, ”He decided to temporarily stop being an actor.”

A wave of disappointment washed over Zhou Yun’s heart.

In the end, Yin Zhou made that decision.

Yuk Chu said, ”I initially thought, if he continued acting, I’d have to find ways to help him get more roles, recommend him to other production teams, because I actually still like him a bit.”

”Will Yuehai agree?” Zhou Yun asked.

”Yin Zhou was never really valued by Yuehai, so they shouldn’t have any objections,” Yuk Chu said.

”It all depends on how they signed the contract.”

”Yin Zhou never talked to me about this,” Yuk Chu said, ”I don’t know how they signed the contract either.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Never mind. If he encounters any problems, let us know. But then again, he probably wouldn’t tell us if he did. Chuchu, if he really runs into trouble, make sure you tell us.”

”Okay, I know.” Yuk Chu nodded, gently smiling, and said, ”I still hope things go smoothly for him.”

Zhou Yun studied Yuk Chu’s face.

Yuk Chu is actually quite elegant. Looking closely, she has a kind of poised beauty, though her team usually styles her in the trendy youthful market way.

Yuk Chu’s face had a flawless glaze, and her smile showed a natural compassion.

”Zhou Yun.” Suddenly, Xu Zixiang popped up, calling out casually, ”My dad’s looking for you.”

Zhou Yun snapped back to reality, seeing Xu Zixiang standing a meter away, looking displeased at her.

Although the young man is quite handsome, his expression at the moment was indeed annoying.

Zhou Yun stood up, walked over to him, looking down from above.

”What?” Xu Zixiang rolled his eyes, asking.

Zhou Yun raised her hand and tapped Xu Zixiang on the head.

”Is Zhou Yun someone you can casually call by name?” Zhou Yun scolded with a stern face.

Xu Zixiang winced, covering the spot Zhou Yun had just knocked.

”Call me sister!” Zhou Yun tapped Xu Zixiang on the head again, ”If I hear you calling my name without respect again, see if I don’t knock your head off!”

Xu Zixiang grimaced.

”Tomboy!”

Zhou Yun was about to make a move again.

This time, Xu Zixiang was smart enough to turn around and run.

Zhou Yun sneered, ”Xu Zixiang, you can run from the monk, but you can’t run from the temple!”

Everyone around looked over, smiling.

In the past few days, similar scenes had played out many times.

Xu Zixiang naturally had a mouth that invited trouble, often angering others.

Nobody expected Xu Zixiang would even dare to provoke Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun said to Yuk Chu, ”I’ll go find Producer Xu first.”

Yuk Chu nodded.

Xu Jinbo was looking at bills in his office and stood up with a smile when Zhou Yun walked in, ”Did he upset you again?”

Zhou Yun shook her head, sighing, ”If my son ever turns out like that, I’ll beat him with a broom every day.”

Xu Jinbo sighed helplessly, saying, ”I’ll give him a telling-off later.”

”Give it up. Kids this age, scolding doesn’t help. The more you react, the naughtier they get,” Zhou Yun said, ”Don’t be fooled by my scolding him. He runs fast and probably is happy inside, angering me is his goal.”

”He needs a good beating.”

”Exactly.” Zhou Yun rolled her eyes, ”Enough about this. Producer Xu, what did you want to see me about?”

”Yesterday, my colleague told me that ’Deep Sea’ already has a million members pre-booking it on Yuehai Video, breaking a record,” Xu Jinbo said, ”They want you, on behalf of the ’Deep Sea’ team, to record a thank you VCR for the members to be included in the promotional celebration.”

Zhou Yun thought for a moment, nodded, and said, ”That can be done, no problem.”

Xu Jinbo smiled, ”Then I’ll leave it to you. I will prepare the script, you just need to record the VCR when it’s ready.”

”Is that all?” Zhou Yun asked.

Xu Jinbo nodded, ”That’s all.”

”Then no problem, I’ll head out now.” Zhou Yun made an OK gesture, preparing to leave.

”Actually—” Xu Jinbo couldn’t hold back, ”there’s one more thing.”
