Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 902: Chapter 563: New Blueprint for Her Career_7

Cui Xidong sat down and stopped talking much, rarely expressing his opinions.

But he had a skill; his understanding was exceptionally strong.

No matter what Zhou Yun said, sometimes she couldn’t find the best way to express it, but Cui Xidong could pinpoint and ask if she meant XXX.

Zhou Yun was quite surprised.

The story of ”Deep Sea” talks about two young women facing their respective life dilemmas and supporting each other in their troubles.

Zhou Yun initially took an interest in this script because of the suspenseful atmosphere it created and the mutual appreciation and care exhibited between the two women in the story.

Zhou Yun has already made a lot of films with different themes, but this is the first one she’s doing about life, especially modern life — excluding ”Under the Grand Dress,” which, strictly speaking, is a workplace drama, with much of the narrative focusing on the fashion magazine industry rather than real life situations.

”As for the previous time Xiao Yun mentioned possibly needing to take a leave, that’s no problem. I’ll coordinate it.” Xu Jinbo said, ”Let’s try to finish filming this movie by December, what do you think? Your agent told me you have another movie directed by Kang Xin to shoot afterward.”

”Yes.” Zhou Yun nodded, ”I’ll try not to take any leave, mainly because ’Behind the Scenes’ is about to premiere in the United States, followed by some promotional activities that I’ll still try to attend, especially in November. If possible, I would like to prioritize my scenes, especially the solo scenes, and see if it’s possible to schedule Group B to shoot my scenes earlier? Speed up the progress, I can even shoot at night as long as I can sleep six hours a day.”

Listening to this, Xu Jinbo was, of course, happy.

You often see actors constantly taking leaves and delaying filming, but rarely do you see an actor proactively wanting to speed up the progress.

After all, extending the shooting time by one day costs a lot of money. Even if Yuehai is willing to spend this money on Zhou Yun, as a producer, Xu Jinbo naturally hopes to cut costs.

The reason Zhou Yun wants to speed up the progress is still because of ”Behind the Scenes.”

If she can spare some time, Zhou Yun still hopes to contribute more to ”Behind the Scenes” Oscar campaign trips.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The last time a Chinese film gained such significant attention in the United States was over ten years ago.

Like Wang Jing, who will fly to the United States immediately after finishing ”Youth Story” to attend a series of promotions arranged by Paimon’s PR head with You Jiang.

Paimon has been in touch with Zhou Lan, trying to arrange more coordinated events for Zhou Yun.

In the United States, from October to January every year marks the unshakeable awards season, also the craziest time for Oscar campaigns.

This time, Paimon believes that ”Behind the Scenes” has a good chance to get a Best International Film nomination and even a Best Picture nomination could be possible.

Just as Paimon doesn’t have a better hand to play at the Best International Film table, they naturally placed their focus on ”Behind the Scenes.”

Paimon even promised Zhou Lan that as long as Zhou Yun cooperates with Paimon in attending PR activities for ”Behind the Scenes,” although a nomination for Best Actress in the Oscars might be difficult, pre-award shows will definitely feature a lot of Zhou Yun, which will greatly help open up Zhou Yun’s reputation in the American film industry.

Under Hollywood’s media influence, opening up Zhou Yun’s reputation in the American film industry equals opening her reputation internationally.

The world’s best directors will notice a Chinese actress named Zhou Yun.

This happens to be the next phase in Zhou Yun’s career development that she needs to focus on expanding.
