Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 944: Chapter 579: Brief Meeting_2

This time, he only had an hour to meet Zhou Yun.

But unfortunately, Zhou Yun was filming.

So Song Chi didn’t inform Zhou Yun in advance, not wanting to disrupt her work.

Even having a meal together wouldn’t be possible. If Zhou Yun knew he could only stay for an hour, she might ask the crew for an hour off to spend more time with him.

He didn’t want Zhou Yun to do that because of him.

Sitting nearby and watching her act was also quite nice.

Song Chi hadn’t seen Zhou Yun in a while.

Once the official shooting began, the whole set quieted down.

The stage was completely handed over to the two actors.

”Sister Siran, I heard you were with him; is it true?”

Xu Lingyue asked.

Zhou Yun leaned against the wall, shaking the camera arm outside the wall, capturing them from an overhead perspective.

Zhou Yun had one hand on the wall, looking relaxed. In the drama, Li Siran and Zhou Xujun’s relationship was that of senior and junior, with Li Siran having to take care of Zhou Xujun. She glanced at Xu Lingyue, smiled slightly, and said, ”The news has reached your ears too, huh.”

Xu Lingyue showed a hint of impatience and annoyance.

”Sister Siran, have you really thought it through? Do you know what kind of person he is?”

Zhou Yun showed a slightly surprised expression.

”What kind of person is he?” Zhou Yun said, ”Isn’t he just a reporter?”

”He’s not just a simple reporter; he followed you before!” Xu Lingyue said with some agitation, ”Don’t be fooled by him! I’ve seen him secretly following you several times after work, taking photos. The stalker I warned you about before was him.”

Zhou Yun was stunned.

She froze for a full ten seconds.

Xu Lingyue suddenly bowed and apologized, ”Sorry, I forgot my lines.”

According to the script, Xu Lingyue was supposed to continue speaking, but he forgot.

Xu Lingyue’s assistant quickly brought over the script.

”Sister Xiao Yun, sorry.”

”It’s okay.” Zhou Yun shook her head, ”You acted well in the previous part, keep it up.”

Xu Lingyue, still in an angry state, took the script, read his lines, and gave an OK gesture to the director.

Cui Xidong said, ”Let’s start from where it got cut off just now.”

Xu Lingyue said, ”Director, can I start from the beginning? I’m afraid I can’t match the emotions if I start from where we left off.”

Zhou Yun chimed in, ”Director, I feel the same.”

Cui Xidong agreed.

So the two of them started from the beginning again.

This time, the scene ended perfectly, and Xu Lingyue angrily turned and left.

Just as Xu Lingyue was about to leave the camera’s frame, a sudden gust of wind arose.

A plastic bag, from who knows where, flew over, crossing the camera’s view.

The shot couldn’t be used.

”Cut!”

Cui Xidong said helplessly, ”Let’s redo the final shot of turning away.”

Xu Lingyue couldn’t help but laugh.

He returned to his position, preparing his emotions.

But the wind wouldn’t stop.

Zhou Yun’s hair and clothes were flying wildly, which would look inconsistent with the rest of the footage.

A moment ago, Zhou Yun’s hair was smoothly hanging down, and the next, it was flying in all directions.

Cui Xidong said, ”Let’s not wait for the wind to stop. It looks like it’s going to rain soon. Later, we’ll reshoot a scene of the weather changing and edit it in.”

Zhou Yun laughed, ”So when Xiao Xu gets mad, nature throws a tantrum too, huh?”

Filming continued.

Xu Lingyue kept a stern face, turned, and left.

Xu Lingyue’s shot was complete.

They needed to shoot a close-up of Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun watched Xu Lingyue’s unhappy departure in her close-up.

She said, ”Lingyue, help me with the scene; I need to follow you with my eyes.”

Xu Lingyue nodded, giving an OK gesture.

After finishing the scene, forty minutes had passed.

Everyone prepared for the next scene.

Zhou Yun ran to Song Chi, smiled at him, and said, ”So, watching me act, have I improved?”

Song Chi reached out and smoothed out Zhou Yun’s windblown hair, ”You acted well.”

”I haven’t asked you yet, why did you suddenly come, without any notice?”

”I suddenly got an opportunity to see you, but I have to leave soon,” Song Chi said, ”I still have—”

He took out his phone, glanced at the time, ”I can stay with you for another seven minutes.”

Zhou Yun widened her eyes in surprise, ”Why so rushed?”

”I’ve already made an appointment with the others; it wouldn’t be good to keep them waiting,” Song Chi said, ”Later, I have a commercial shoot I’ve committed to; I have to finish it today. After that, I have to rush back to the set because I have scenes for tomorrow.”

”You’re going back overnight?” Zhou Yun asked.

Song Chi nodded, ”Yes.”

”If time is so tight, you shouldn’t have come,” Zhou Yun said.

Song Chi: ”It was on the way, and seeing you even for a moment is good. We haven’t met in a long time.”

”Sigh.” Zhou Yun wrapped her arms around Song Chi’s neck, the two of them very close, ”We said we’d go out and have fun this summer, but it didn’t happen either.”

”No matter what, we should give ourselves a break,” Zhou Yun said, ”Otherwise, let’s do it in winter, during the winter we’ll have a break.”

Song Chi, however, looked apologetic.

”I have another film to shoot then.”

Previously, due to a fracture, Song Chi had postponed many jobs, and the later commitments made his schedule extremely tight.

Zhou Yun sighed.

”Alright.” Zhou Yun thought for a moment, ”Then if I have a break, I’ll come find you, we won’t go out, I’ll just stay at the set with you.”
