Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 924: Chapter 572: Deep Sea Begins Filming_2

When Zhou Yun refused to accept today’s interview, Xu Jinbo wasn’t dissatisfied. He just thought Zhou Yun was like other major celebrities, a bit difficult to book, that’s all.

Today’s scene was shot inside the studio.

Zhou Yun was sitting in his lounge, waiting for the scene.

This modern lifestyle drama had an advantage: makeup and hairstyles were relatively easy to prepare. Once they were set, only slight adjustments were needed on set.

Zhou Yun was about to film a scene showing herself as competent and decisive. She was contemplating what kind of demeanor she should portray.

Calm, or stay inscrutable?

This seemed to be a performance state that many actors would choose.

However, Zhou Yun thought of some female executives she had seen in the news. They weren’t always indifferent or composed. They could also get angry, show impatience, but—then Zhou Yun thought of that famous female entrepreneur, known for her fiery temper. Yet, in any video, even when she got angry, the audience never saw her as hysterical. On the contrary, when she got angry, you felt that even then she was controlling the extent of her anger. She remained rational, and her anger seemed more like a means of expressing herself.

Zhou Yun thought about the character she was playing.

It’s not an older person, and getting angry in this situation—no, the younger you are, the more you would deliberately appear calm and composed in such situations. Because young people lack confidence and can’t remain unshaken, they strive to appear unshaken.

Zhou Yun pondered carefully.

But the character Li Siran she was playing was someone who is relatively composed by nature. Here, being composed doesn’t refer to her personality. It means that in any situation, big or small, she can control the scene. This is not easy for a young person, as the older generation generally doesn’t respect young people. So, how does Li Siran have the convincing power to control the scene?

It’s definitely not through domineering manner or harshness.

She must have a presence that can make others submit.

But presence is too vague, what should be used to construct the details of this presence?

On the one hand, she certainly has to present some details herself, and on the other hand, the reaction of her counterparts is also important.

But the next scene is a large group performance with many actors, and Zhou Yun didn’t know how Cui Xidong would shoot it.

She thought for a moment, then took the script to find Cui Xidong, to discuss her ideas with him.

”I think it would be better if everyone has different expressions, instead of everyone looking tense and scared when I show up. Different roles should have different attitudes towards me,” Zhou Yun said to Cui Xidong.

Cui Xidong nodded and asked, ”What do you wish to see?”

”Ah?” Zhou Yun was taken aback.

Cui Xidong said, ”How do you want them to act? I’ll tell them.”

Zhou Yun quickly waved her hands and, smiling, explained, ”That’s not what I meant. Director, how they act depends on your and the actors’ ideas. My point is, since many people will appear in the scene, especially when it’s a big group scene, I hope everyone can perform based on their character’s traits.”

”Okay.” Cui Xidong nodded. ”I’ll talk to them.”

Even though Cui Xidong agreed so readily, Zhou Yun still felt like his understanding might not be the same as what she was trying to convey.

The first scene.

Zhou Yun got out of the car, went upstairs, her steps brisk, with an air of subtle maturity and spiritedness.

Yet, the first take had a problem. As Zhou Yun stepped out of the car in high heels, she stumbled slightly.

Even Zhou Yun couldn’t help but laugh.

The filming set was crowded.

Every actor was accompanied by their assistant and makeup artist, ready to touch up their appearance and maintain their condition.

It was somewhat chaotic.

On the second take, Zhou Yun didn’t make any mistakes and finished shooting the part where she entered the company.

Location change, filming at the elevator entrance.

It was also a set constructed in the studio.

Zhou Yun was to meet Yuk Chu and He Wenyun here.

Yuk Chu had already gotten into character, modestly dressed, with an introverted and silent disposition, somewhat reluctant to interact with others.

He Wenyun, on the other hand, appeared radiant and confident.

”Morning.”

”Morning.” He Wenyun slightly curled her lips in a smile, glanced at Zhou Yun, and asked, ”Is this the spring collection this year? Is it already available in China?”
