Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 585: Chapter 443: Locust Swarm Passing Through_2

Zhou Yun originally wanted to buy some snacks, but thinking about the upcoming filming, she decided it was better to watch her weight.

She bought some daily necessities, including perfumed water and mosquito repellent, essential items for the set.

As expected, someone came up to ask, ”Are you guys filming a show?”

”No,” Zheng Xiaojue responded doubtfully but firmly followed Zhou Yun’s instruction. ”We are just college students making a short film.”

Zheng Xiaojue had a youthful look, and the curious auntie oh-ed, seeming to believe the answer.

”You college students sure make a big scene, huh.”

Zheng Xiaojue said cheerfully, ”Gotta be serious.”

The auntie left.

There were a few other aunties with her who seemed to be together, and I only heard that auntie wave her hand dismissively saying, ”It’s just a bunch of college students filming a short film, nothing interesting, let’s go back to playing cards.”

Li Yuning: ”...”

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but chuckle.

After buying the goods, they went back to the hotel, and Li Yuning and the others didn’t have to follow to shoot anymore.

The hotel room was equipped with a camera for live recording.

While Zheng Xiaojue was helping Zhou Yun take out the items she bought and organizing them, she asked, ”Sister Xiao Yun, are we going out today?”

Zhou Yun said, ”Let’s not go out today, there’s really nothing on.”

Zheng Xiaojue asked, ”Do you need me to stay with you?”

”You don’t need to, why, do you have something on?”

Zheng Xiaojue shyly smiled and said, ”A fellow villager of mine came here, if there’s nothing today, I’d like to meet up with him.”

”A fellow villager?” Zhou Yun’s eyes held a gossip-like gleam, ”A fellow villager or an old flame?”

Zheng Xiaojue’s cheeks flushed slightly, ”Just a fellow villager, Sister Xiao Yun, don’t talk nonsense.”

Zhou Yun laughed, ”Go ahead then, I wouldn’t want to stand in the way of your possible life-changing matters.”

Zheng Xiaojue’s cheeks reddened even more.

”Sister Xiao Yun!”

”Alright, alright, I’ll stop.” Zhou Yun said, ”Bye.”

Zheng Xiaojue left happily.

Zhou Yun looked out the window at the sunshine and sighed, ”It’s June already, such wonderful sunshine.”

She messaged Yuk Chu: I want to fall in love too.

Yuk Chu: ? With who?

Zhou Yun: Doesn’t matter who.

Yuk Chu: Are you feeling springy?

Zhou Yun: I want to walk in the sunshine holding hands with someone I like.

Yuk Chu: A joint sun-tanning session?

Zhou Yun: Blacklist warning.

Yuk Chu: If you want to date, don’t you have plenty of handsome guys chasing you?

Zhou Yun: But I can’t date, can only think about it.

Yuk Chu: Why can’t you date? Because of your career?

Zhou Yun: What else?

Yuk Chu: Makes sense, you’re just twenty-three, dating can impact your intimate scenes.

Zhou Yun: It’s not because of the intimate scenes!

Yuk Chu: That said, filming ’Eighth Heartbeat’ is good therapy, it can console your love-seeking heart.

Zhou Yun: You don’t know, but I’ve fallen out with Huaichun, the kind where we’ve burned bridges.

Yuk Chu: What happened? How did he offend you?

Zhou Yun looked up at the camera, ensuring the lens couldn’t capture her WeChat conversation, then continued: He doesn’t like me and mocks me in front of others.

Yuk Chu: What a mouth he has.

Zhou Yun: I should have insisted on bringing you to film ’Eighth Heartbeat’ with me, so we could have fun on the set together.

Yuk Chu: Good thing I didn’t come, I don’t want to be dragged into your war.

Zhou Yun: Not very loyal.

Yuk Chu: Just being wise.

Zhou Yun smiled, threw the phone on the couch, and continued to study the script, rehearsing in front of the mirror by herself.

At noon, Yin Zhou sent Zhou Yun a message, asking: Badminton, anyone?

Zhou Yun was taken aback, then said: Isn’t Xu Siyao not on set yet?

Yin Zhou: I was thinking of learning in advance? I don’t know how to play either.

Zhou Yun: That’s true, but is there a badminton court here?

Yin Zhou: There’s a gym, I’ve asked them, they can arrange a coach for us.

Zhou Yun: Then great, when are we going there after lunch?

Yin Zhou said: Depends whether you want to have lunch first or rest a bit after lunch before going?

Zhou Yun thought for a moment and said: How about we have lunch first and then take a nap before we go?

Yin Zhou: Alright, I’ll make it 3:30 PM.

Zhou Yun: Perfect.

Zhou Yun wasn’t the kind who loved sports, but if someone invited her, she would go along, unless it was a sport she really didn’t like.

More importantly, her relationship with Xu Siyao could basically be described as merely polite; previously, when the other party wanted to leverage her popularity, she was unresponsive, and now that the other party didn’t want to interact with her, she found it normal. But with the male lead Huaichun, they couldn’t even display outward harmony. With two of the main actors already in strained relationships, Zhou Yun felt she should still try to manage her relations with her co-actors properly.
