Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 579: Chapter 441: Private Gathering_2

He sure has a big temper.

The commotion he caused here was not small, drawing glances from the people around.

Zhou Yun put on a cap and followed closely behind.

She guessed that perhaps someone had recognized her and secretly took a picture. But that was alright, Zhou Yun wasn’t the kind of person who would stay indoors just to avoid being stealthily photographed.

After Wei Heyun’s fuss, Zhou Yun hadn’t yet had lunch.

It was one o’clock in the afternoon, a perfect time for lunch.

This time she didn’t search online for a recommended restaurant, but decided to stroll around, see what catches her eye, and let fate decide where she would eat.

Anyway, she was going to stay in this city for a few more days, she had time to check out all the tasty establishments in town.

After walking for a while, she suddenly felt someone following her.

?

Did someone recognize her?

A fan?

Or someone else?

Zhou Yun hesitated for a moment, then stopped at a corner and turned her head to glance at the person behind her.

Upon seeing that person, she was stunned for a bit, caught off guard, and dumbfounded.

It was none other than Wei Heyun, who had stormed off earlier.

He had his hands in his pockets and was still wearing those sunglasses, looking exceedingly arrogant about five meters behind her.

When he saw her turning her head, he pretended not to see her and theatrically looked up at the sky.

Zhou Yun was bewildered, taking a while to snap back to reality.

What was Wei Heyun up to?

Didn’t he leave? Why suddenly tail her like a stalker?

Zhou Yun stood in place and waited for Wei Heyun to come over.

Yet Wei Heyun acted as if he couldn’t see her and continued to look up at the sky.

Zhou Yun: ”...”

She wished a bird would fly over and poop on his face right now.

Cursing him in her mind, she thought if Wei Heyun didn’t come over and pretended not to see her, then she would act as if she didn’t see him.

Zhou Yun turned around and left, ignoring Wei Heyun completely.

Thus, in the Zhou Yun’s unseen background, Wei Heyun watched her retreating figure in a furious disbelief, unable to believe that he had made his presence so obvious, yet Zhou Yun ignored him as if she hadn’t seen him at all!

Wei Heyun wrestled with himself on the spot and finally let go of his so-called pride, following her.

He wanted to see where this woman was going!

So like this, Wei Heyun trailed Zhou Yun all the way to a local-style restaurant.

He saw Zhou Yun walking into this out-of-place local restaurant, frowning with confusion.

Is she going to eat here?

Really?

The reason Wei Heyun was so surprised is that since he was a kid, he had met too many female celebrities—each with their own beauty and talent—but he had never seen a female celebrity go into such a ”fly restaurant” in broad daylight.

It really didn’t match their glamorous images.

Zhou Yun was dressed casually today in loose jeans and a simple jacket, indeed not very delicate, but standing there, her aura was naturally languid and casual, ready to be captured by any photographer for a perfect street shoot.

It had nothing to do with what she wore.

She couldn’t escape the aura of a celebrity—many people believe that if glamorous celebrities step offstage and dress like ordinary people, they will blend in with the crowd.

Maybe some can, but there are people who can’t.

Zhou Yun was one of the latter.

Yet Wei Heyun discovered that Zhou Yun walked into this ”fly restaurant” very openly, without any hesitation, with no disdain for the place’s lowbrow ambiance or lack of cleanliness.

Wei Heyun felt somewhat disdainful.

But he followed her inside anyway.

The small restaurant used tarps to create separate booths.

Wei Heyun heard the server asking Zhou Yun how many people; she said one.

Wei Heyun could no longer maintain his indifferent facade. He hurriedly stepped forward and said, ”Two.”

The server looked at this man who had suddenly popped up with confusion and then became shy and bashful, her gaze changing due to the impact of his good looks.

The typical reaction when faced with a handsome man all of a sudden.

So much so that she forgot to confirm with Zhou Yun whether this suddenly appearing man was indeed with her.

No matter, Zhou Yun believed that no matter how she replied, Wei Heyun would shamelessly seat himself at her table.

Zhou Yun sat down, arms crossed in front of her chest, looking at Wei Heyun and said, ”Weren’t you angry and stormed off? Why follow me here?”
