After finishing dinner together, Zhou Yun sent a message to Zheng Xiaojue, saying she had finished on her end and could come pick her up.

”I’ll go to the airport soon, heading back to Shanghai.”

Wei Heyun clicked his tongue and said, ”As expected, with a boyfriend now, you’re in such a hurry to get back late at night.”

”Yeah, do you have a problem with that?”

”No problem.” Wei Heyun said grumpily.

The two chatted in the private room.

Twenty minutes later, Zheng Xiaojue sent Zhou Yun a message: Sister Xiao Yun, we’ve arrived.

”They’re here, let’s go.” Zhou Yun said.

Wei Heyun nodded.

They left the room and headed toward the exit.

Suddenly, two figures approached from ahead.

A man and a woman.

Zhou Yun recognized the woman.

Someone she hadn’t seen for quite some time.

During the filming of ”Eighth Heartbeat,” not only the main cast but also some actors playing supporting roles were present. Thanks to the popularity of ”Eighth Heartbeat,” every participating actor gained a lot of attention. Though the film was terrible, the actors benefited from the increased fame.

Zhou Yun did not expect to run into Yu Yhan here.

Despite it being the dead of winter with snow falling outside, she was wearing just a short black dress that clung to her body, flaunting her impressive figure.

The dress ended at her thighs, revealing a pair of long and straight legs.

She was wrapped in the arms of a man in his thirties, both chatting and laughing intimately.

Then, Yu Yhan looked up and saw Zhou Yun.

For a moment, Zhou Yun wasn’t sure whether to greet Yu Yhan or not.

It was the man beside Yu Yhan who spoke first.

”Wei Heyun, you’re here today too, why didn’t you tell me so we could have a drink together?”

Wei Heyun chuckled, ”I’m with a friend, I don’t have the spare time to drink with you.”

”Friend? Is this your friend? Isn’t this Zhou Yun?” The man next to Yu Yhan eyed Zhou Yun and gave a suggestive smile, his gaze returning to Wei Heyun, ”I see why you sneaked over here quietly without letting us know.”

”Cut it out, don’t think too much, we’re just friends.” Wei Heyun gestured dismissively, ”I need to get Zhou Yun home, we’ll talk later.”

”Why the rush? Have a drink with us.” The other man said.

Wei Heyun waved him off, ”Got things to do, I’ll find you later, we’re off.”

Seeing Wei Heyun’s demeanor, the man didn’t press further.

They left.

Zhou Yun did not greet Yu Yhan through the entire encounter.

Nor did Yu Yhan greet her.

The two acted as if they were strangers.

”Who’s that guy?” Zhou Yun asked.

Wei Heyun replied, ”Zhong Zidong, a playboy just as unserious as me.”

”Oh.”

”What’s wrong? Did his attitude just now upset you? Don’t mind him, he’s like that, treats everything as mundane, drinks alcohol like water, and one day, he’ll surely end up dead at a drinking table.”

”No, I don’t care about his attitude, it’s just that the woman with him just now, she acted with me before, her name is Yu Yhan.” Zhou Yun said.

”Ah her, I know her. I saw her not long ago when dining with Zhong Zidong, heard she’s his girlfriend.” Wei Heyun said, ”But I’ve never dealt with her. Zhong Zidong changes girlfriends too fast, it’d be too draining for me to get to know each one.”

Zhou Yun frowned.

”Why would Yu Yhan date someone like that?”

Wei Heyun looked at Zhou Yun’s face, with some words he wanted to say but didn’t.

”Stop worrying about others and let’s hurry, don’t you have a flight to catch?” Wei Heyun said, ”Let’s move.”

Zhou Yun: ”Okay, let’s go.”

The snow had stopped.

If it hadn’t, there was no telling if the flight could take off on time tonight.

On the way to the airport, Zhou Yun was a little worried, fearing that the weather could cause the flight to be delayed.

She messaged Song Chi: On the way to the airport, but given the weather, I’m not sure if the flight will be delayed.

Song Chi replied: Yeah, no worries, take your time, I’m reading the script.

Luckily, the flight took off as scheduled.

No snow, and the weather was good.

Zhou Yun dozed off on the plane, and when the plane landed, she felt a bit unwell and opened her eyes.
