Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 565: Chapter 431: Aftermath of the Award (Part 4)

”Director Liu, please have a seat.”

”I’m seated; you should sit as well.”

Yu Yan: ”Okay, I’ve settled in another car. Later, you should head back and rest well. Look at you, drinking so much.”

”It’s not a lot, I did not drink much.” Director Liu was clearly drunk.

Yu Yan: ”Director Liu, listen to me and go back and rest well, we can continue drinking another time.”

”We’ll continue another time.” Director Liu mumbled.

Yu Yan closed the car door, ”Bye, Director Liu.”

Once the driver was in the car, ready to drive off, Director Liu suddenly rolled down the window.

”We’ll continue drinking!”

Yu Yan: ”Rest well first!”

She waved her hand, sending the people off, then turned around, rolled her eyes, and walked up to Zhou Yun on her high heels.

”I feel like I’m going to vomit.” she said.

Zhou Yun was startled and quickly stepped back, ”Don’t scare me.”

Yu Yan burst out into clear laughter.

She hooked her arm around Zhou Yun’s neck and leaned in close, ”But I really feel a little dizzy, help me balance.”

Zhou Yun then realized how thin Yu Yan truly was, her whole body was light.

She steadied Yu Yan, saying, ”Take it easy.”

At that moment, the car arranged by Huang Zhong arrived.

Zhou Yun helped Yu Yan into the car and went back to the hotel.

Zheng Xiaojue was waiting at the hotel entrance, took them in, and together with Zhou Yun, helped Yu Yan back to her room.

By then, Yu Yan’s assistant hurriedly arrived to take over.

Zheng Xiaojue escorted Zhou Yun back to her room, asking, ”Sister Xiao Yun, did you drink tonight?”

”I didn’t drink.” Zhou Yun shook her head, ”But I smell terrible, I need to take a shower first. What about tomorrow’s schedule?”

Zheng Xiaojue replied, ”It’s all arranged. Tomorrow morning they’re shooting someone else’s scenes, so you can rest.”

Zhou Yun waved her hand, ”Okay then, if I’m not awake by ten in the morning, come wake me.”

Zheng Xiaojue agreed and left.

Zhou Yun took a shower, dried her hair, and lay down on the bed, feeling drained.

She picked up her phone, wanting to message Zhou Lan, but, for some reason, she clicked on Song Chi’s chat instead.

She asked: ”Have you been to many drinking and dining parties?”

Song Chi surprisingly replied instantly: ”What do you want to ask?”

She said: ”I don’t want to ask anything, just that tonight some things happened, and I feel really congested inside.”

Song Chi instantly guessed: ”Did the production team arrange a dinner party and made you accompany people?”

Zhou Yun: ”You really do have a lot of experience.”

Song Chi: ...

Zhou Yun: ”Forget it, I won’t talk about it anymore, I’m going to sleep.”

Song Chi: ”You’re the one who started talking to me, and now you’re not?”

Zhou Yun: ”I don’t know what to say, anything I say seems pretentious, and besides, it’s not the same for you, you got famous young, and even if you attended these parties, you weren’t forced.”

Song Chi: ”Everyone has their down times.”

Zhou Yun: ”Damn it.”

Song Chi: ”I guess you’re not cursing at me?”

Zhou Yun: ”Of course not at you. I just feel like cursing, but I don’t know who to curse at.”

Song Chi: ”Then curse at me, it’s not the first time you’ve treated me like a trash can.”

Zhou Yun: ”Why are there so many annoying things?”

Song Chi: ”When floating through worldly society, how can one not be knifed.”

Zhou Yun: ”Give me a huge knife, I’ll chop down this worldly society.”

Song Chi: ”You think you have the Dragon Slayer?”

Zhou Yun: ”If only I had the Dragon Slayer!”

Song Chi: ”There’s no Dragon Slayer for now, but if you look up now at the sky, the moon is still there.”

Zhou Yun was startled.

She put down her phone, got out of bed, opened the curtain, and looked up.

In the dark night, a half-moon was high in the sky.

Soft and bright.

Zhou Yun smiled.

She wanted to reply, ”Why are you so poetic,” picked up her phone again, and saw another message from Song Chi: ”If you don’t have the Dragon Slayer to split the night, just look up at the moon, at least it’s still shining, giving you comfort.”

Zhou Yun felt touched but also thought it was a bit odd.

What she didn’t know was that while Song Chi was writing this message, he kept another sentence hidden in his heart, unspoken.
