Under Gu Xi’s command, new Undead appeared in front of him.

At first, Gu Xi thought that the Evilized Corpse Eaters, influenced by the Death Decree, would transform into Ghouls or Zombies, or at worst, with their bloated appearance, they might turn into Sewn Monsters at a level above 8.

When these Undead appeared, Gu Xi was stunned on the spot.

Crawling out from the Steel City Gate were Mud Monsters with a mix of green, gray, and blood-red colors.

These Mud Monsters were as tall as ordinary people, with round bodies, looking just like the Evilized Corpse Eaters from before.

No matter their color, their bodies were semi-transparent, revealing internally digested bodies reduced only to bones, with arrows and various weapons embedded in their surfaces.

With their appearance, Gu Xi understood that they were certainly Undead Creatures.

However, these Mud Monsters did not match Gu Xi’s previous imagination.

At that moment, a gigantic black Mud Monster, towering like a small mountain at five meters high, squeezed out from the Steel City Gate.

Compared to the other Mud Monsters, this one’s appearance was distinctly different; its body was not the semi-transparent type, and from any outward angle, all that was visible beneath the skin was the black liquid.

As for the inside, there was nothing to see.

This thing was like an enlarged water-filled balloon, but as it moved, all the Mud Monsters nearby would automatically make way, afraid of being swept inside.

This situation took Gu Xi by surprise too.

However, after he stepped forward to examine the condition of these Mud Monsters, he understood what was going on in his heart.

[Bone-Devouring Mud (Level 8 Summoned Corps): Experience (0/8500), Attack 25, Defense 30, Life 400, Skills: Devouring Enhancement (Temporarily enhance combat power by devouring nearby items during battle), Self-Destruction (Will definitely self-destruct before death, with explosive power five times the Life Force)]

Those ordinary Mud Monsters were more or less normal level 8 units, possibly because they died quickly, most of the Evilized Corpse Eaters didn’t get stimulated by their companions’ deaths to level up to level 13.

But it’s clear to see that they belong to those high-defense, high-life tank troops.

Just perfect for replacing the severely lost Maze Devourers as a defense for Gu Xi upfront.

If not enough, they can be sent out to devour.

Though the description of Devouring Enhancement was not detailed enough, Gu Xi discovered through Undead Knowledge and other knowledge.

This Devouring Enhancement involves some different changes.

If they devour flesh, the Mud Monsters can rapidly recover Life, and devouring weapons can temporarily improve Attack and Defense.

The most crucial part is that they can devour portions of Magic, and if they devour enough, they can even take on magical attributes.

However, the chances of that happening are quite low.

It’s more worthwhile to have Mud Monsters devour weapons and equipment for greater enhancement.

As for the color variations of the Mud Monsters ahead, it’s neither due to differing attributes nor having devoured different materials; it’s just for aesthetics, no other meaning.

Instead, that gigantic black Mud Monster was the real reason for Shaya to come out to inform Gu Xi.

[Bone-Devouring Swamp (Level 13 Semi-solidified Team): Experience (0/100000), Attack 55, Defense 60, Life 550, Skills: Swampification (Can transform into a swamp to devour enemies, covering up to ten thousand square meters), Fusion (Can devour everything, including soil, to enlarge body), Split (Can cut its own body and convert into Level 8 Bone-Devouring Mud)]

Looking at this information, everyone can understand that the Bone-Devouring Swamp cannot be simply considered a level 13 Undead Warrior.

It should be regarded as a movable camp for producing Bone-Devouring Mud.

The reason for Shaya’s specific arrival was likely for concern about the Bone-Devouring Swamp devouring things indiscriminately in Yalidu City.

”Shaya, where did they first appear?”

”In the Magic Plant District, that big black guy was somewhat uncontrollable, though he suppressed his nature, all the ground where he stood was automatically swallowed.

Just in that short moment, the Magic Plant District has already lost quite a few plants.”

”Indeed, it seems a bit troublesome.”

Gu Xi nodded to show his understanding.

This Bone-Devouring Swamp is evidently a good thing, but it can’t be left in Yalidu City.

If tossed in the city, in a few days, where it stands might be completely consumed.

But leaving it out isn’t wasteful either.

Circling the Bone-Devouring Swamp, numerous thoughts flashed through Gu Xi’s mind, and he finally decided.

”Let it eat outside first; this matter needs further research before proceeding.”

As Gu Xi spoke, he pointed at the candy being devoured by the Evil Bone Locust.

With so much candy present, it should feed the Bone-Devouring Swamp for a while.

In this time, the Bone-Devouring Swamp won’t cause too much trouble for Gu Xi.

As for what happens when the Bone-Devouring Swamp returns to Yalidu City, Gu Xi plans to handle it similarly.

All the candy can be transported back to Yalidu City, laid down to delay the Bone-Devouring Swamp’s devouring of other things.

At least until Gu Xi finds a better solution.

During the previous battle, Shaya hadn’t followed, and seeing the ground full of giant candy left her stunned.

However, upon observing how easily the Bone-Devouring Swamp could devour the candy, Shaya breathed a sigh of relief.

”It’s good to have a solution.”

”Yes, Shaya, you came at just the right time; I need to transport everything here and will need some time, so you can scout ahead for any upcoming enemies.

This battle was quite a loss.”

Gu Xi thought about the fight against the Evilized Corpse Eaters this time.

If he had known the enemy’s number beforehand, he wouldn’t have let the final BOSS grow so large, making the battle difficult.

Now that Shaya is here, and Gu Xi needs to rest here for some time, he intends to send Shaya to gather some information.

Gu Xi needs to be aware of the enemies he’ll face next and their numbers.

This way, he can avoid past mistakes.

Receiving Gu Xi’s command, Shaya decisively accepted and instantly disappeared into the Void right in front of Gu Xi.

Gu Xi glanced in the direction where Shaya disappeared, then shifted his focus, observing his subordinates transporting the candy.

He also noticed the Bone-Devouring Swamp lying where the Evilized Corpse Eaters had fallen, devouring the leftover gastric juices and useless red fur.
