Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 505: Chapter 503: The Path to a Hidden Class

After circling the Crow Department’s teaching building, getting a grasp of my basic setup, I finally returned to my office.

As I walked round after round of stairs, Gu Xi suddenly realized he seemed to understand what his teaching building resembles.

This is clearly a magnified version of the Shadow Fang Castle’s interior.

With its winding passages inside, without some knack for navigation, one really can’t handle everything.

Gu Xi arrived at the tower’s rooftop and pushed open the door to his office.

It was a large office occupying over a hundred square meters, divided directly into two parts: the outer part was a real office and laboratory, the back part was a bedroom and study.

The oil painting depicting Gu Xi’s current situation hung on the wall at the back of the office.

The oil painting shows Gu Xi standing atop the Soul Summoning Tower performing summoning.

However, as Gu Xi approached, the figure of Gu Xi in the oil painting winked at his real self.

Gu Xi tried to push open the oil painting and discovered that behind it lay a world mainly composed of oil colors.

It was at this moment that Gu Xi remembered the name of the oil painting. Apparently, the instructor taught painting skills.

Previously, Gu Xi didn’t quite understand what painting skills were; now it seems it might be another mysterious space.

Gu Xi didn’t want to use such a place to travel to Yalidov City.

Remotely manipulating the Crow Department through an oil painting was one thing.

Connecting the oil painting to Yalidov City, Gu Xi wasn’t that confident.

Gu Xi shook his left hand containing a special mirror, connecting with Luna’s mysterious mirror image space, while issuing commands outside.

Soon, a full-length person-high mirror was brought over.

The mysterious mirror image space established a connection with this full-length mirror, opening a direct line from the dean’s office of the Mysterious Academy to the mysterious mirror image space.

After finishing everything, Gu Xi followed the method taught by the three deans and pressed forcefully on the signature in the bottom right corner of the oil painting, causing a piece of paint from the oil painting to fall into Gu Xi’s hand.

[Special Oil Painting (Blue): Originates from the Mysterious Academy. Can facilitate external contact through the painting, while this painting represents the identity of the Mysterious Academy’s dean.]

Thinking for a moment, Gu Xi ultimately wrapped the special oil painting around his left wrist. Thus, his left wrist was adorned with a special coin, a special mirror, and a special oil painting.

Looking at such a large bundle of things on his wrist, Gu Xi couldn’t help but smile.

If this keeps going, there won’t be any more room on his hand.

After organizing everything here, Gu Xi stepped into the full-length mirror.

In the next moment, Gu Xi was back in the mysterious mirror image space.

At this moment, Luna had already opened a direct channel for Gu Xi in the mysterious mirror image space to the Yalidov City Assembly Hall.

After all, there is still quite a distance from the mysterious mirror image space to Yalidov City.

Usually, it isn’t an issue, but if pressed for time, it can be quite troublesome.

Now it’s different; transitioning from the office to the mysterious mirror image space, and then from there to the Yalidov City Assembly Hall takes less than a minute.

Of course, Gu Xi also understood that this was to protect his safety in Yalidov City.

After all, Yalidov City is Gu Xi’s core power, and right now, it hasn’t been fully controlled by him. Gu Xi didn’t want any unforeseen events at this time.

Appearing before the Assembly Hall, Gu Xi immediately saw Luna and Shaya waiting.

Seeing this situation, Gu Xi couldn’t help but curiously ask.

”Has the battle at Di Mi’s side not ended yet?”

”No, according to what Eldest Princess Anna said, there was some accident at Di Mi’s side. After conquering five zones, her forces are somewhat insufficient. While attacking new zones, already conquered areas get attacked.

Leaving troops to guard results in severe lack of forces to attack new zones.

With such back-and-forth, the new zone has almost turned into a tug-of-war.

The current situation with Di Mi might drag on for a while.”

”Can it be solved by dragging on for a while?”

Gu Xi asked worriedly.

”Don’t worry, sir, Di Mi is capable. She has stabilized the situation, with only two zones in a tug-of-war. The remaining four zones have already been stabilized.

Apart from engaging in a tug-of-war in those two zones, other zones are steadily being controlled, allowing her to eventually mobilize troops to return for battle.

Though it might take longer, we don’t need to deploy more troops.”

Luna explained the situation again.

”And what about Eldest Princess Anna’s judgment?”

Regarding battle matters, Gu Xi still preferred to believe Eldest Princess Anna.

”Di Mi has a chance at victory, but it might take a long time. Judging from the current situation, it might take another two weeks to completely conquer.

If we are in a hurry, we can dispatch Amirka for battle.”

After considering for a moment, Gu Xi ultimately shook his head.

”Forget it. Let Di Mi fight alone. Let it drag on; don’t put too much pressure on Di Mi.

As for Amirka, he can go observe the battle to understand the conditions one might encounter when attacking other periods of Yalidov City.

Once Di Mi is finished here, it’s his turn to fight.”

Luna and Di Mi’s relationship was quite good, and hearing Gu Xi’s arrangement, she visibly breathed a sigh of relief.

At this moment, Gu Xi remembered something, ”By the way, I received a batch of corpses in the Academy this time, of quite good quality. Shaya, you have decent relations in the Academy, I will open the Steel City Gate for you later so they can help transport these corpses inside.”

”Okay!”

Shaya didn’t hesitate much.

Running with Gu Xi in the Mysterious Academy these past few days, Shaya already knew how much support the Mysterious Academy provided for Yalidov City.

The features of various functional buildings in Yalidov City are now mostly occupied.

Various undead beings with varied skills have made Yalidov City full of vitality.

Bringing back another batch of corpses would mean an increase in the number of new undead.

By then, Yalidov City would become even livelier.

After clearly explaining the matters here, Gu Xi set off alone towards the Yalidovi Tower.

Gu Xi still remembered Eldest Princess Anna’s words.

After reaching Level 4 in the three divine skills, he must specifically seek her out to open the path to hidden professions.

Now that everything is accomplished, naturally Gu Xi must attempt to break through to Level 5. After all, he’s been stuck at Level 4 for quite a long time.

If he doesn’t advance to Level 5 soon, people will leave him.

Luna and Shaya initially wanted to follow.

But each had their tasks; Gu Xi, in the end, rode the Evil Coffin alone to the outside of Yalidovi Tower.
