As Gu Xi completed the selection of talents, the main city gate of Yalidu City suddenly appeared behind him.

At the same time, two long horn sounds came from the sky.

This signifies that Gu Xi has completed the selection of talents and officially became a Death Witch Lord.

Then, another message popped up in front of Gu Xi.

[Your level has increased to Level 5, fully restoring life and mana, clearing all adverse status, Intelligence +1, contract undead number +1, and choose two skills as rewards from the following five options.]

[Plague Corpse Burst: Advanced skill, upgradable, requires mastery of Secondary Corpse Burst Level 4, or Corpse Burst Level 1, or Plague Skill Level 1 to learn. Costs 5 mana, can use one corpse for a corpse burst, explosion power is 250% of the corpse’s life force, and forms a plague cloud dealing 30 damage per second to enemies.]

[Bone Curtain: Advanced skill, upgradable, requires mastery of Bone Storm Level 4, or Dark Sky Level 1 to learn. Costs 150 mana, forms a curtain of bone fragments at a designated location, with a range of three hundred meters in diameter. Anyone forcibly entering the curtain will suffer damage from the bone fragments (damage is 320% of the player’s attack power).]

[Death Ram: Professional skill, upgradable, can summon a Level 8 death ram on the battlefield, charging towards the enemy’s battle array at a speed of 10 meters per second. Can break through the enemy’s battle array or attack enemy city walls (ram style is mainly based on the situation on-site).]

[Death Battle Banner: Death Witch Lord exclusive skill, upgradable, can place a death battle banner on the battlefield, lasting for 10 minutes. It emits special power, converting corpses on the battlefield into undead, gathering under the battle banner preparing for battle (conversion effect is equivalent to the combined effects of Soul Summoning Skill, Undead Domination, Undead Enhancement, Undead Research, etc.).]

[Ghost Realm Battlefield: Professional skill, upgradable, requires mastery of Death Incarnation to learn. Costs 30 mana, bestows a ghost realm battlefield upon the Death Incarnation, moving with it on the battlefield, providing corresponding enhancements and reinforcements (the required enhancements vary for each Death Incarnation).]

When the prompt appeared, Gu Xi’s mind buzzed.

He didn’t expect that after reaching Level 5, the selection would be so favorable.

Two advanced skills, two professional skills, and one exclusive skill.

Although there’s some contribution from the Dean of the Mysterious Academy, this also shows that players above Level 5 are no longer considered novices; they must learn some advanced things.

Suppressing his excitement, he didn’t choose casually because of the word ”exclusive”, but reread all the skills’ details, carefully pondering over every detail.

Considering his current situation, Gu Xi temporarily gave up the exclusive skill and chose Bone Curtain and Ghost Realm Battlefield.

The reason for giving up the Death Battle Banner skill was not because Gu Xi believed he could master it again later.

But because the purpose of Death Battle Banner is merely a simplified means of Soul Summoning Skill.

Placing the Death Battle Banner on the battlefield allows soul summoning within ten minutes, but the effect is equivalent to Gu Xi summoning himself.

Therefore, there was no need for Gu Xi to allocate a skill for this.

On the contrary, the two skills Gu Xi chose: one is an advanced skill of Bone Storm, transforming it from an attack spell into an integrated offensive and defensive big range spell, thus being quite versatile.

The other is a spell targeting Death Incarnation; previously, Gu Xi would certainly not have chosen this.

However, because of the last fight with Zong Heze, Gu Xi obtained some magical treasure, and now Gu Xi has two Death Incarnations.

This instead became Gu Xi’s best option at the moment.

Both different Death Incarnations can use such a Ghost Realm Battlefield and can even gradually strengthen on the battlefield.

Just this alone was enough to attract Gu Xi.

After making his selections, Gu Xi felt a white light descend from the sky and then his level stabilized at Level 5.

Meanwhile, the experience previously stored due to overflow kept increasing, and in a blink of an eye, Gu Xi’s experience reached the standard for leveling up.

points.

To rise from Level 5 to Level 6 requires 25,000 experience points. From this point on, it means that the player’s growth speed will slow down.

But nobody expected that Gu Xi would linger at Level 5 for so long and experienced multiple battles.

The stored experience became ridiculously abundant.

Gu Xi felt that if he wanted, he could rush to Level 7 in one go without a problem.

However, Gu Xi temporarily had no plans to upgrade immediately.

Gu Xi was very clear about the current situation.

He came here to complete the advancement, but there’s still one task that hasn’t been completed.

The descending Evil God Hall is still there.

Keeping the experience, waiting to level up when significantly injured or when encountering danger, is the best choice.

Upgrading now would be somewhat wasteful.

One must know, with level increasing, plus the number of undead fighting under him increasing, the ways Gu Xi gains experience will become fewer and fewer.

Unless Gu Xi, like before, challenges enemies exceeding his level, it would be difficult to hoard this much experience again.

To ensure their own safety, most players would keep enough experience to level up by 1 level, using it at the most dangerous or critical moment.

Otherwise, when someone truly needs to level up for something or requires a large amount of experience, and finds no monsters around to provide experience, it would be awkward.

Gu Xi glanced at his current level, reaching Level 6 is absolutely sufficient, Level 7 is somewhat uncertain, but likely enough.

The danger now isn’t immense, so Gu Xi planned to use the Evil God Hall to test his Level 5 capabilities. If it doesn’t work out, leveling to 6 would still provide a backup plan.

If the Evil God Hall is easily dealt with, he would upgrade to Level 6 when leaving this world, while preserving the experience to push towards Level 7.

If the Evil God Hall is too strong, there’s no alternative but to go full force, directly advancing his level to 7 to fight desperately.

Therefore, now the situation depends entirely on the side of the Evil God Hall.

He didn’t know the situation of those companions summoned together.

Or whether they’ve already defeated the Evil God’s Followers.

Gu Xi just checked the time, from when he entered the castle to now, plus the time asleep, it has been about a day and a half, soon approaching the third day.

He also didn’t know the current situation of Evil God Hall; if it falls, they would be unlucky, with half of all gains reclaimed.

Then Gu Xi’s replenishing magic would have been in vain.

After thinking about it, Gu Xi looked up at the visible Evil God Hall in the sky, tidied up his things, and head towards the direction of the Evil God’s sacrifice.
