”Brother Fang, do you think they will give it up?”

On the way to the suspected teleportation gate, Gu Xi approached the player he knew earliest, Fang Kang, to ask.

After all, the current situation was relatively strange. Li Dangna and Yuan Xihua were at odds, and they could start fighting at any moment. If Gu Xi went to communicate with them, he feared that they would be done for before reaching the Evil God Hall.

So Gu Xi approached Fang Kang to inquire about some information.

”They will definitely give it up, after all, they can’t move forward otherwise. However, they won’t be at a loss. The main quest’s rewards aren’t very significant to them. As long as we don’t take the core Purple Armor, there won’t be any major issues.

Even if it’s Purple Armor, if the price is right, a trade is a trade regardless of where it happens.”

Fang Kang’s words revealed the players’ attitude towards Purple Armor. It’s good, but its negative effects are quite significant.

Without suppressing the negative effects, or if it’s not of any use, players letting go of their Purple Armor for outside sale is quite simple. As long as you can pay the price, there is no Purple Armor you can’t buy.”

Gu Xi had also sold several pieces of Purple Armor before. Until later, when he discovered he could equip it to his Contracted Undead, he stopped selling it externally.

Now that Fang Kang mentioned it, Gu Xi also smiled and affirmed it.

With this topic, their journey was not so lonely. The two slowly started talking about matters concerning Stone Golems.

Fang Kang’s talent specialized in Golems, similar to Yuan Xihua, only that Golems and Puppets are different things.

He wasn’t as extreme as Yuan Xihua, who wanted to make a puppet out of anyone he saw.

Among Golems, Stone Golems are a specialized category. After all, flying Golems are rare; most are made of wood or lighter materials.

Only Stone Golems are purely made of stone, and their flying speed isn’t slow at all.

Therefore, most players specializing in Golems put a lot of effort into Stone Golems.

Gu Xi didn’t play with Golems, but Stone Golems had been in his hands for quite a long time.

Gu Xi’s attitude towards Stone Golems was quite clear: Scout.

So he had certain ideas about Stone Golems.

This happened to align with Fang Kang’s interests, and the two exchanged experiences so thoroughly that they almost forgot where they were heading.

When they reached the location Yuan Xihua found to be a teleportation gate, they almost became sworn brothers.

Upon reaching the teleportation gate location, Fang Kang was the first to jump out. He had some understanding of things related to teleportation gates.

But Gu Xi took a step back. He could tell at the time that the Stone Sphere was related to the teleportation gate because he recognized the word.

In other aspects, Gu Xi wasn’t clear at all.

At this moment, he refrained from making a fool of himself.

He stood far away, watching the teleportation gate. It was then that Gu Xi understood why Yuan Xihua took this place for an evil altar.

It was because this teleportation gate was indeed set up like a platform.

It looked like a small platform with three steps, on which only one person could lie down at most,

which clearly looked like an altar meant for a person’s placement.

Even if not Yuan Xihua, Gu Xi himself would have mistaken it, too.

However, the situation was different now. Yuan Xihua put the Stone Sphere back, and Fang Kang went ahead to adjust it.

After half a day’s work, they received some bad news.

”Only single transmission is possible, not large-scale transmission.”

Fang Kang’s face darkened slightly, ”It’s all Yuan Xihua’s fault for his meddling, taking the core piece off. Otherwise, I could have attempted to adjust it for large-scale transmission.

Now, being able to send a person up is already pretty good.”

”No worries, didn’t we plan it out initially?”

Gu Xi wasn’t bothered by this, ”Shall we head up now?”

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, the other players looked at him with some confusion.

”Brother Gu, you seem in quite a hurry?”

Alexander asked directly.

”Of course, I’m in a hurry. I originally came here to promote my special profession. If it’s revoked, my profession and level will have to start over.

Level is manageable, just some experience, but if I miss this profession, there’s no second chance for me.”

Upon hearing this, the others realized what was going on.

Hidden professions are a rare opportunity. Sometimes, people might linger at Level 4 for quite some time just for it.

Clearly, Gu Xi was like this. He lingered for a long time for a hidden profession, and now that he finally got his desired profession, he would definitely overturn the world along with the Evil God Hall if his profession was gone because of it.

This is precisely why Gu Xi was so concerned about the Evil God Hall and didn’t want it to fall.

”You really have patience, managing to stay at Level 5 for so long.” Fang Kang, who had a good relationship with Gu Xi, came forward and patted Gu Xi on the shoulder.

Meanwhile, the witch Li Dangna was almost glaring her eyes out.

”No wonder a Undead Mage would practice Fitness Skills; you were idle with no upgrades.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi didn’t know how to explain.

Eventually, he simply didn’t bother to.

Soon, Fang Kang had everything adjusted.

The platform before them could only teleport one person at a time.

Fang Kang glanced at Gu Xi and the others, saying, ”I need to operate the teleportation array, so I’ll be the last one to go. Which of you wants to go up first?”

”I’ll go first; on one hand, it was my idea, so naturally, I want to take the lead. On the other, none of them would go if the other went first. It’s better if I go first, take control, and then deal with it.”

Gu Xi looked at Li Dangna and Yuan Xihua.

Just as Gu Xi said, no matter who among them went first, the other would not go afterward.

Who knows what the other might do with no one around?

Understanding this, Gu Xi volunteered to go first to ensure he could suppress the others.

As for who would go second or third between Li Dangna and Yuan Xihua, they would have to decide on their own, Gu Xi couldn’t manage that.

Being looked at by Gu Xi, Li Dangna and Yuan Xihua understood the situation.

They exchanged glances, snorted heavily, and eventually agreed with Gu Xi’s plan.

After all, they intended to go to the Evil God Hall to challenge it and hadn’t given up on going.

So after setting the order, Gu Xi actively stepped up onto the altar-like platform.

Then Fang Kang nodded to Gu Xi.

”Ready? If ready, I’ll start the teleportation!”

”Ready!”

As soon as Gu Xi finished speaking, a beam of white light descended from the sky, dragging him off the teleportation platform.
