In the ensuing time, Lynch did not leave Gu Xi for a single step.

He was also afraid that Gu Xi might suddenly ask something or bring out some ’good stuff’ they couldn’t handle.

At this moment, Lynch finally understood that Gu Xi being sent here was partially due to some recognition.

Now it seems that their choice wasn’t wrong. Although Gu Xi is somewhat a novice in terms of level, he truly has a treasure trove of valuables at hand.

Even just using these items can withstand the attack from the Evil God Hall.

Not to mention, Gu Xi came here with the intention of hitting Level 5 and promoting to a special profession.

If he reaches Level 5, there’s a high possibility he will reach Level 10 in a short period.

For an Undead Mage, the threshold of Level 10 for Gu Xi no longer exists.

If Gu Xi’s luck holds, there is even a chance to directly rise to Level 10 this time.

By that time, the Evil God Hall wouldn’t be a problem at all.

After all, the higher the level, the easier it is for Gu Xi to fully utilize those things in his possession.

Now Lynch just needs to provide Gu Xi with the help he’s capable of offering.

Nothing else should be exaggerated.

During the wait, all of Gu Xi’s troops were sent over.

Gu Xi noticed that all his troops had been meticulously maintained.

Not only had their weapons and equipment been reinforced and polished, even waxed, but even the Black Spear Camp’s black mist had been groomed anew.

Now the Black Spear Camp looks fiercer, and when advancing, the black cloud-like aura they stir up feels like it might transform into a sandstorm.

It can be said that with this makeover, the Black Spear Camp’s presence alone looks much more formidable.

Looking at the situation before him, Gu Xi thought for a moment and pointed to Arroyo: ”Arroyo, when we head out next, you’ll take the lead.”

Upon hearing this, Arroyo immediately accepted and even glanced at Robbie with a hint of provocation.

His smug expression clearly signaled to Robbie that he had won yet another round.

Robbie looked quite annoyed, showing a ’how did this guy win again’ attitude.

But he knew well that Arroyo and he were on completely different paths.

Arroyo was suitable for frontal assault combat on the plains.

While his Bone-Slaying Camp was better suited for close-quarter battles and street fights.

Most importantly, the Bone-Slaying Camp currently lacked skin that suited them or any special enhancements.

They couldn’t make this ordinary-looking unit appear as if it were a formidable legion.

Seeing the situation before him, Robbie was already planning in his mind that once they returned, he must figure out a way to acquire some skins.

If for nothing else, at least to dress up his Skeleton Two-Handed Swordsmen a bit to make them look better.

Right now, the way they look as a bunch of skeletons holding two-handed swords, being able to be blown away by the wind, who would possibly be afraid?

Just as Robbie was thinking about this, the gates of the Shadow Castle suddenly opened.

As the sunlight streamed in from outside, Gu Xi immediately smelled a putrid odor.

This odor was even stronger than that in Yalidu City. Looking out through the gate, Gu Xi found that outside the gate was a massive valley over 300 meters wide.

The ground of the valley was covered with thick bone fragments, and from afar, the dense layer gave an impression of a snow-covered ground.

Looking to both sides of the valley, Gu Xi noticed that there were cliffs of about five to six hundred meters high on either side, with various twisted-looking trees growing on top.

Seeing Gu Xi’s attention shift to the cliffs on either side of the valley, Lynch proudly explained.

”Rest assured, no one can ambush from there. All the trees on top are man-eating trees we’ve planted. Anyone entering will be devoured by the forest, their flesh turned into nutrients for the trees, and their bones thrown into the valley.

This place is called Soul-Devouring Valley because of these trees.”

After glancing at the bone fragments on the ground, Gu Xi eventually stepped out.

When stepping on the white bones, Gu Xi worriedly looked at the ground and, after making sure these bones posed no issue, summoned the Evil Coffin.

At this moment, the ever-present Lynch complimented, ”This coffin mount looks quite imposing. Mr. Gu, you have good taste.”

As his troops marched out through the gate, Gu Xi tilted his head with some confusion and said, ”Is there something wrong with my mount, Mr. Lynch?”

”Not at all, I was just a bit surprised. In our Shadow Crown, many Undead Mages use coffins as mounts, but it’s rare to see coffin mounts without coffin porters like yours.”

Gu Xi was also surprised to hear this and curiously asked, ”Using zombies to carry the coffin?”

”Of course not, zombies are too slow for that kind of thing. They use fast Undead Creatures to carry the coffin. If you’re interested, I can introduce you to a few Undead Mages.”

Gu Xi kept Lynch’s words in mind.

At this time, all of Gu Xi’s troops had already stepped into the Soul-Devouring Valley.

At this moment, Lynch said to Gu Xi, ”We resupply here every day from eight to ten. If you need any support, you can come to find us during this time.

Additionally, we appear in the Dark Forest between eight and ten at night. If you can’t come here, you can meet us in the Dark Forest then.

As for the Destrup City sewer, we visit only once a week, with the timing uncertain. Plus, with you being Undead, you might not be able to enter, so if you want to find us, come to these two places.”

”Alright!”

Understanding Lynch’s point, Gu Xi replied, ”Rest assured, I’ll handle everything.”

”Then I wish you victory, triumphant victory!”

”Victory!”

Holding up the Cold Wind Staff, Gu Xi exclaimed, and then the army marched out of the Soul-Devouring Valley.

Seeing Gu Xi lead his troops away, Lynch finally breathed a sigh of relief. He felt an enormous pressure, and prolonging it further made him unsure of what to say to Gu Xi.

Every word was laborious to deliberate upon, which was exhausting.

It’s better to head back quickly now.

It’s uncertain whether Gu Xi’s current operation will be able to stop the descent of the Evil God Hall.

Gu Xi wasn’t aware of Lynch and the others’ feelings about his departure.

By this time, Gu Xi had already led his troops over a thousand meters into the valley.

Upon entering the Soul-Devouring Valley, Gu Xi realized it wasn’t short at all. The valley was about two miles wide and stretched for 20 miles. With the advancement speed of Gu Xi’s troops, it took nearly forty minutes to reach the end of the valley.

About to exit the valley, Gu Xi suddenly heard the sounds of battle beyond.
