Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 528: Chapter 526: Player Gathering

The location of the sacrifice by the Evil God’s followers is positioned between the High Mountain Castle and the White Castle, forming an equilateral triangle with them.

Their reason for choosing this location, apart from its proximity to the two castles, was also due to its ample space, and the fact that the Evil God’s followers intended to use the Evil God Hall as their third castle.

However, without any defensive buildings here, the Evil God’s followers couldn’t withstand the attacks from the players and strong individuals summoned by the Seven Great Forces, and were directly overrun.

Simultaneously, the Evil God’s followers’ two cities, High Mountain Castle and White Castle, were also captured yesterday.

Yet despite this, the falling Evil God Hall showed no intention of ceasing its descent.

It was clear that stopping the descent of the Evil God Hall wasn’t as simple as killing the Evil God’s followers.

When Gu Xi arrived here following the map, he noticed the place had already turned into a chaotic barracks.

A large number of tents were directly pitched on the ground, with three distinctly different teams moving in and out of the camp.

From Gu Xi’s perspective, it was evident that these three teams were mainly composed of humans, mages, and elves.

As Gu Xi approached, some flying creatures immediately took to the sky from within the camp.

Upon closer inspection, Gu Xi discovered the sky filled with griffin and dwarf cavalry, pegasus and elf cavalry, and even a team of mages standing on flying carpets.

Once airborne, they quickly formed a battle array in the sky, immediately locking onto Gu Xi’s position.

It was clear from this that the players behind them were already quite powerful and had formed a complete legion under their command.

They had also developed their own unique flying units.

These flying teams served purposes such as scouting, aerial strikes, and ambushes.

Most importantly, the controllers of these flying units were all human, enabling these soldiers to clearly assess certain situations.

Unlike Gu Xi’s stone golems, which, without learning the exclusive language of the stone golems, could not be communicated with at all.

Knowing his stone golems couldn’t communicate with them, Gu Xi had no choice but to raise his own banner and halt his advance.

Upon seeing Gu Xi stop, the flying teams understood the situation and each sent a soldier back to report.

Before long, a player in half-armor emerged from the camp.

He was a Westerner, with luxuriant golden hair like flowing clouds and eyes as red as flame.

His face was adorned with thick beard, emitting an air of wildness and unconstrained freedom.

When he appeared, he was only wearing half-armor, its silver brilliance catching eyes under the sunlight.

The armor was engraved with numerous wild boar motifs, indicating his hometown was a city that revered the wild boar.

His image was filled with a sense of power and primal beauty, revealing a spirit that was unrestrained and untamed.

His gaze was resolute and decisive, implying that no matter what difficulties arose, nothing could shake his faith and determination.

Upon stepping forth, he loudly asked, ”Are you a player or a leader?”

”Player, Death Witch Lord, Breath of the Dead, Gu Xi.”

Gu Xi quickly reported his name.

The player was momentarily stunned and then introduced himself: ”Player, Charging Knight, Victor Over the Tiger, Alexander.”

Saying this, he approached Gu Xi, extending his hand to him.

Gu Xi shook his hand, and then he asked, ”Which summon brought you, and why are you only here now?”

”Shadow Crown, I had other tasks to handle first. What’s the situation here now?”

As the conversation unfolded, two more players emerged from the camp.

One was a male elf, tall and slender like a towering pine tree.

His golden locks flowed like a waterfall, with bits of grass amidst them, as if they were growing from his hair.

He wore carefully stitched deerskin clothing that, as he moved, caused illusions of a deer herd to appear around him, clearly marking him with purple equipment—a symbol of his rank.

In his hand, he held a unique long staff, with a cluster of glistening grapes hanging from the head—a distinctive emblem without doubt.

The other was a witch in a red robe, with hair down her shoulders and slightly moist tips, and a slightly flushed face, as if she had just gone through something.

Unlike other magic users with magic staffs, she carried a dagger strapped to her waist.

Upon seeing Gu Xi, her eyes lit up and she rushed towards him.

”You’re finally here, bro. Looking at you, it seems like your mage has practiced the Fitness Skill, huh?”

Gu Xi was just about to say he hadn’t practiced the Fitness Skill.

But thinking about the Fitness Skill’s clone, he could only nod in acceptance.

”I knew someone like you would exist—a mage practicing Fitness Skill. It’s a genius choice. Want to come to my tent and let me test the effects of a mage on the Fitness Skill?”

”Well...”

Gu Xi was speechless. What was going on here, and how did they have time for such things now?

”Donna, joking aside, don’t scare people away.”

Alexander noticed Gu Xi’s expression and hurried forward to stop it.

Hearing Alexander, the witch named Donna retreated, still muttering, ”He smells like one of us. What’s wrong with having a bit of fun?”

At this point, Alexander began introducing the two players to Gu Xi.

The elf player was named Su Chun. No need to say more, his Level was clearly above Level 15, making him the strongest among the three.

However, he usually didn’t concern himself with affairs, so Alexander was primarily in charge within the camp.

The witch player was Li Dangna. She had just reached Level 10, making her situation somewhat unstable, so she’d been seeking power to temporarily stabilize her condition.

Previously, both Alexander and Su Chun were her targets.

But after trying, Donna simply said Su Chun was as wooden as a tree, and Alexander like a wild boar, rather unexciting. Playing with them wasn’t worth it compared to playing with her own minions in the camp.

Thus, upon seeing Gu Xi, she got so excited.

Yet Gu Xi was perplexed, wondering if it was alright to voice such thoughts in front of others.

When he glanced at Li Dangna, he found she didn’t seem to mind at all.

Su Chun even appeared to be enjoying the scene like a spectator.

Faced with this situation, Gu Xi shook his head.

What kind of people are these? Maybe it’s time to change the topic.

”You all arrived early. What about the sacrifice by the Evil God’s followers? Is it resolved? Why is the Evil God Hall in the sky still falling?”
