Boom!

Gu Xi had just finished reading the prompt in front of him when a booming sound came from the sky.

He looked up in the direction of the sound and found himself in the void, with a gigantic eye staring down at the ground.

Glancing downward from the eye, Gu Xi discovered that below was a massive chest, filled with small worlds resembling models.

An invisible giant hand was placing an object into the chest.

At that moment, a voice echoed in Gu Xi’s ear.

[In the Studesstrup World, the followers of the Evil God held a grand ritual, willing to turn the fertile areas of this world into a Scenic Box as a toy offered to the Evil God Lida Scroll.

This action was discovered by many organizations in the Studesstrup World.

The Observatory, Stu Royal Family, Cathedral of the Holy Light, Serenity Mage Tower, Golden Forest, Valley of Wolves, and Shadow Crown each summoned a powerful figure to stop this sacrifice.

You have seven days to prevent all this from happening.

If you cannot stop the sacrifice within seven days, you must, in the next seven days, destroy the coordinates placed in the Studesstrup World by the Evil God Lida Scroll, or all activities in the Studesstrup World will be deemed failures.

All gains in the Studesstrup World will be retracted.]

As the voice alert sounded, Gu Xi suddenly felt a gaze fixed on him.

He looked up in the direction of the sensation, only to see a massive red-maned bullhead quietly existing in the void.

The huge eye was staring intently at the place where Gu Xi stood.

As Gu Xi looked up, it even grinned at him.

Gu Xi immediately realized that this gigantic red bullhead was the so-called Evil God Lida Scroll.

Though he didn’t know why it had such a name, Gu Xi understood clearly that in the next two weeks, it would be his primary opponent.

For the sake of his promotion task, Gu Xi lifted his head, glared fiercely at the bullhead in the void, and then took a step forward.

In the next moment, Gu Xi felt as if some power forcefully dragged him away, and the scene before his eyes kept changing until he finally fell heavily to the ground.

Before Gu Xi could get up, a voice reached his ears.

”Didn’t they say they’d summon a powerful figure with an army? How come a level 4 newbie is all that arrived? Where’s his army?”

Gu Xi looked up and found himself surrounded by a large number of black-robed mages, their attire quite bizarre, as black long robes wrapped their entire bodies, and they wore various types of masks on their faces.

There were crow-beak masks, white bone masks, and even clown masks.

However, no matter the mask, they all wore a uniform-style crown on their black hoods.

The crowns appeared to be made of thorns, ranging in quality from black iron to yellow copper, with the highest being silver.

Looking at those surrounding him, Gu Xi wore an expression of helplessness.

”With all of you gathered here, I can’t even bring out my troops.”

Having been retorted by Gu Xi, these black-robed mages didn’t get angry but instead burst into laughter.

”I say, newbie, if you have the ability, bring out your troops and let us see. If not, hurry back so we can summon again before the materials wear out, and see if we can call forth someone stronger.”

Gu Xi, instead, smiled, ”Alright then, let me open your eyes.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the Main City Gate appeared behind him, and the massive gate pushed the black-robed mages in front of it aside.

Simultaneously, the already assembled troops began to march out from the Main City Gate.

Ghost Dragons and Bone Dragons flew in the sky, a large number of undead roamed the ground, and uniquely identifiable undead heroes all demonstrated Gu Xi’s strength.

But all of these black-robed mages’ attention wasn’t on the undead forces emerging from the city gate.

Everyone’s gaze was fixed on Gu Xi’s Main City Gate.

”This is Death City, isn’t it? No wonder you have the guts for this.

But still, it’s not enough; this is clearly a New City, and many things aren’t complete yet.

I see your troops mainly consist of Skeleton Mages. Do you have Corpses Witches?

There’s no Vampire among them either, I bet the Haunted Mansion hasn’t been built yet.

As for the Bone Dragons circling above, they lack forearms; they must’ve been converted from Giant Dragon bones themselves, right? No Dragon Tomb, I suppose.”

A black-robed mage, clearly following the path of an Undead Mage, just took one glance at Gu Xi’s troops to make his assessment.

However, his guess was somewhat off; Gu Xi actually did have Corpses Witches, but they were all in the Magic Tower for further study.

The Skeleton Mages were sufficient; there was no need to bring out the Corpse Witches now.

As for the Bone Dragon’s Dragon Tomb, Gu Xi indeed didn’t have one, but he had substitutes in the form of Death Knights.

Plus, with two skills, Death Incarnation and Death Lord, Gu Xi believed he could handle the battle ahead.

Seeing Gu Xi’s defiant look, the black-robed mage wanted to say more but was soon stopped by other black-robed mages.

Initially, they were just skeptical about Gu Xi’s capabilities, wondering if a mere level 4 could handle things.

Now, what Gu Xi had shown proved he had enough power, which was sufficient; there was no need to provoke Gu Xi.

So the few nearby black-robed mages dragged their companion away, leaving the head black-robed mage alone in front of Gu Xi.

”Thank you for coming. May I ask your name?”

”My name is Gu Xi.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi knew the black-robed mages had accepted him, so he immediately inquired, ”May I know how to address you, sir?”

”You can call me Lynch; I’m the current co-chair of the Shadow Crown. You’re aware of this event, aren’t you?”

”I learned some details on my way here; someone seems to have sacrificed your area.”

A ding echoed in Gu Xi’s ear, but he chose not to check it immediately and continued responding to Lynch.

”Yes, this was first discovered by the starlight mages at the Observatory. Now that the Evil God’s hall is descending, we have seven days to prevent it from occurring.

Besides us at the Shadow Crown, six other forces are also striving to call forth powerful entities to counter the Evil God.”

Gu Xi suddenly asked, ”I’m curious, you clearly have the strength, so why not deal with the Evil God’s followers yourselves?”

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s question, Lynch turned his head, pulling back the hood around his neck.

Gu Xi found red mane growing on Lynch’s neck.

”Everyone in the Studesstrup World has been influenced by the Evil God’s power, corrupted by the Evil God.”
