Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 525: Chapter 523: Don’t Get Drained Dry

Startled by the sound, Gu Xi took two steps back, then he noticed a little elf the size of a fly pinned to the wooden door.

Upon closer inspection, the little elf wore a skirt made of flower petals, with a faint gray powder scattered around her.

Half of her face was already decayed, clearly indicating that this little elf had become an Undead.

”No need to look further, I’m the only Undead in this castle, so you can only communicate with me.”

Gu Xi glanced back at the corpses behind him, wanting to pinch the little elf outside to show her the situation outside.

What did she mean by saying she was the only Undead in the castle?

Has she been nailed here so long that she’s lost count?

However, Gu Xi eventually gave up on the idea.

He realized that this little elf was the key to opening the door in front of him.

When she said she was the only Undead in the castle, she meant she was the final hurdle, the access point for the Death Lord skills.

Without the Death Lord skills, the wooden door in front couldn’t be opened.

But the problem was, Zong Heze should have mastered the Death Lord skills, so why couldn’t he open this wooden door?

Seeing Gu Xi constantly looking back, the little elf also became a bit annoyed.

”What do you mean? Do you want to open the door or not?”

Seeing the little elf getting angry, Gu Xi still asked a question.

”That person who was always staying at the stairs, did he not notice this wooden door?”

”Of course he came up, but he’s already part of the castle, so he doesn’t qualify to open the door. But that guy is weird; even though he can’t open the door, he kept stopping others from coming up.

This has caused no one to come and chat with me for years, and no one can open this big door.”

Seeing the little elf’s angry demeanor, Gu Xi couldn’t help but smile; this little creature still looked quite cute.

But that Zong Heze guy, for his own selfish reasons, blocked countless players’ promotion paths.

Thinking about these players, each one chosen, those who could come here, even the weakest among them, had obtained at least two of the Death Three Divine Skills.

And they ended up being blocked right here.

Zong Heze’s death was not unjust.

If he hadn’t died this time, once outside, he would be hunted by many powerful Undead Mages, and even his soul wouldn’t remain.

Now Gu Xi couldn’t care about these matters.

At this moment, he asked another question.

”Inside is the Thorn Golden Crown I’m looking for?”

”I don’t know if it’s the Thorn Golden Crown, but it’s definitely what you’re looking for in here, go ahead.”

Perhaps due to the prolonged delay, combined with Gu Xi’s incessant questioning, the little elf was somewhat impatient.

She even ignored Gu Xi’s question and directly opened the wooden door.

As the wooden door opened, Gu Xi felt a strong suction coming from inside.

Unaware for a moment, Gu Xi was directly pulled into the room.

Entering the room, Gu Xi landed on the floor, which was covered with a thick woolen carpet. The room’s temperature was a bit high, and upon looking around, he noticed a blazing flame in the fireplace, the source of the room’s high temperature.

Rising from the floor, Gu Xi noticed that the room in front of him was a princess’s bedroom.

Because the room was located at the top of the tower, its size wasn’t large, only about a dozen square meters, with just a bed and a fireplace, and a spinning wheel that clashed with the room’s decor.

The bed exuded a princess style, a walnut princess bed draped with a pink quilt, and white lace canopy falling to the ground.

But what caught Gu Xi’s attention wasn’t these, but rather a black-haired, white-skinned woman sleeping on the bed, the quilt covering her failing to conceal her figure, while her exposed arms and shoulders indicated she wasn’t wearing sleepwear.

From a distance, she appeared quite beautiful; despite sleeping for an unknown duration, her skin remained soft, yet the aura she exuded was peculiar, clearly youthful but imparting the impression of a mature woman.

Gu Xi couldn’t help but think of a few fairy tales that seemed to feature stories like this.

Gu Xi was about to step forward to check if there was a Thorn Golden Crown on the woman’s head when she suddenly opened her eyes.

”You, hello, I’m here looking for the Thorn Golden Crown.

I...”

”You don’t need to say, I know, I am the Thorn Golden Crown you’re looking for.”

The woman didn’t sit up; instead, she remained lying on the bed, speaking calmly.

Gu Xi didn’t notice that as the woman spoke, a faint pink mist began to rise in the room.

”You?”

”Yes, I am. I also know what you want, and I need you too. I can give you what you want, and you also want to help me.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi felt somewhat irked.

”Don’t you think you’re being a bit too direct?”

Regarding Gu Xi’s words, the woman also felt slightly helpless, ”I wasn’t planning to either. Normally, you should approach and kiss me, waking me up, and then we’d have a wedding in this castle.

Then live happily ever after.

When waking from the dream, you would get the Power you desire, and I could replenish my Magic Power.

But now there’s no time left, not sure why, but no one has come for a long time.

I feel there’s an evil Power watching over my castle from the sky.

If this drags on, my castle will be dug up as a toy.

I’m in a hurry now.”

After speaking, the woman closed her eyes and beckoned to Gu Xi, ”Come on, quickly.”

Gu Xi was quite speechless, what did this mean, he was a gentleman, how could he do such a thing.

But just when Gu Xi stood up, ready to leave, he suddenly realized that he had come this far, the Thorn Golden Crown was right in front of him, and his promotion task was within reach, how could he just leave?

Thus, Gu Xi calmly said two sentences, ”I am a gentleman, I am here to complete the task...”

Before he finished speaking, the pink mist behind him had already formed into bubbles, pushing him to the bed.

Then the quilt on the bed lifted, confirming his previous assumptions, while also understanding why this thing was called the Thorn Golden Crown.

It truly resembled a crown of golden thorns.

Before Gu Xi could collect himself, a strong force came from behind, pushing him forward.

And a voice reached his ears, ”Since it’s been a while, the Magic Power consumption is quite high, be careful not to be drained.”
