Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 504: Chapter 502: Crow Department Building (Bonus for 500 Chapters)

After digesting the benefits at hand, Gu Xi finally looked up at the place where Calimduo and the others were fighting.

By this time, Calimduo and the others had already left.

Having obtained the position of Dean, there was naturally nothing much to say for Calimduo.

He needed to handle matters within the academy now.

As for the remaining few, they needed to return to handle their respective departments’ affairs.

Leaving only Gu Xi here to examine his gains.

After the academy’s rebuilding, the space before him hadn’t changed much.

However, in the woods, black gothic buildings began to appear, constructed from white bones or black stones.

These were Undead-style buildings, and as one by one new structures rose, the academy slowly began to improve.

Retracting the City Gate and the Soul Summoning Tower, Gu Xi tapped the ground with the Cold Wind Staff.

”Amur.”

Just as Gu Xi’s voice fell, the old man who could open all secret passages inside the academy appeared in front of Gu Xi.

”Mr. Gu, did you call me?”

”Amur, now that the academy has been rebuilt, may I go to my office?”

”Of course, I will open the secret passage for you now, please come this way.”

Amur led the way, narrating the recent changes to Gu Xi as they went.

”Mr. Gu, you don’t know, this time the academy has changed significantly. The old Knight-style is gone, and many roads have been rebuilt.

But this brings advantages too, many secret passages are better arranged now.

I mentioned before, some people have taboos; they won’t even glance at places with corpses or graves.

Such places are suitable for making secret passages.

Alright, we’ve arrived, going in from here, you’ll quickly reach the Crow Department’s teaching building, your office is on the top floor of the school building.”

With Amur’s escort, Gu Xi easily reached the new teaching building.

Because Gu Xi holds relatively high authority, and the neutral faculty in the academy are his friends, they went all out in constructing this teaching building.

The teaching building before him resembled a huge castle.

The castle occupied over thirty thousand square meters, with the surrounding City Walls reaching a height of 30 meters.

At the center of the castle stood seven towers of varying heights.

Within the towers, numerous crows swirled.

Gu Xi’s department head office was in the tallest tower.

But Gu Xi did not hurry to enter. After taking a look around, he was surprised to find that this place was where he previously encountered the three big-headed figures!

How come those three old headmasters came back to life, abandoning even their graves?

At this moment, on the second-highest tower, the heads of the three headmasters appeared.

”Hahaha, I knew it, you could surely achieve this.”

”With our help, how could this not succeed?”

”Still, he did well, quite surprisingly, especially as he’s not yet at Level 5.”

The three heads floated down directly from the tower, drifting before Gu Xi, the white-bearded old man glanced at Gu Xi.

”You’re not yet Level 5, that’s a good thing. How about I suggest a hidden profession?

Now that you’re the Dean of the Mysterious Academy, and below Level 5, you can take up the Undead Scholar, and at Level 10 pursue the route of the Judicial Clerk.”

Listening, Gu Xi shook his head, ”No need, I’ve mastered the Death Three Divine Skills, planning to follow the path of the Death Witch Lord, and later at Level 10 transition to Lord of the Underworld.”

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s words, the three old men exclaimed with regret.

”You’re truly wasting a good talent.”

”Exactly, why become a Death Witch Lord? Do you know how tough that path is?”

”But have you mastered the Three Divine Skills? How did I not notice your Death Incarnation?”

Seeing their distressed attitudes, Gu Xi couldn’t help but smile.

The care felt good.

However, he truly could not take the path of an Undead Scholar.

Though it is also a hidden profession, there is a certain difference compared to the Death Witch Lord.

Listen to their Level 10 paths, one is the Judicial Clerk, the other is the Lord of the Underworld.

The difference is apparent just from the names.

So even if it’s a good hidden profession, Gu Xi won’t change his direction.

The three old men knew there was no persuading him and could only introduce the current situation to Gu Xi.

They also accompanied Gu Xi as he familiarized himself with their academy.

The primary subject of the academy was naturally Soul Summoning Skill, but here professors could also teach other things.

These things mainly focused on necromancy skills.

Moreover, within the department’s teaching building, there was a dedicated library, with the dormitory located not far away, allowing Gu Xi to arrange for hundreds or thousands to come learn at any time if he wished.

But the three old men’s opinion was to not start too big.

It’s best to enroll students in the usual way.

After all, this academy will exist for a long time.

Sufficient for Gu Xi to rise from Level 4 to Level 15.

There was no need to rush now.

What use is it for Gu Xi to be anxious, as he is only Level 4 and still far from Level 15.

Faced with official critiques, Gu Xi had no choice but to agree to some plans.

At this point, the previously deceased students had also returned as Undead to attend classes.

They had completely changed. The students coming to the Crow Department were all in black robes, with scarves around their necks that were black and white checkered.

Some held small Wooden Staffs in their hands, while others carried books and such.

Walking into the teaching building, Gu Xi saw the situation here clearly, all three floors were classrooms, where students could learn things intimately related to Soul Summoning Skill.

After just a lap around, Gu Xi had to admit to the excellence of the Mysterious Academy.

He had previously thought that not much could be learned in the Mysterious Academy.

Yet a look here made it clear that was not the case. Surprisingly, there were classrooms specifically for studying Resurrection and Undead Transformation Technique.

It was evident they had their eyes on the routes after reaching the pinnacle of Soul Summoning Skill.

Simultaneously, Gu Xi also saw the Book of the Box of Fate, Blood Feast Book, and Ghost Dragon Book here, which were the directions for advancement after Level 10 in Soul Summoning Skill.

How long had this new academy been rebuilt? In such a short time, they had gathered everything.

This also showcased the greatness of the Mysterious Academy.

”Master, it would be best to elevate your Soul Summoning Skill to Level 10 first, then come back to learn the advancement routes. This would benefit you more.”

Noticing Gu Xi’s excited expression, the three old men still advised.

While Gu Xi, as a scholar, didn’t plan to take the Undead Scholar path, they still hoped he would lay a solid foundation.
