[Task reward: Position as the director of the Crow Department of the Mysterious Academy (Purple title, first department of the academy, 63% internal academy authority).]

[Explanation 1: The position of a department director at the Mysterious Academy is a distinguishable status in the Game World.]

[Explanation 2: At the Mysterious Academy, authority can sometimes be more valuable than level.]

[Explanation 3: Having a corresponding identity within the Mysterious Academy allows one to freely learn any desired knowledge.]

With a ”ding,” a wealth of information popped up in front of Gu Xi.

The long-term task ”Light of the Mysterious Academy” was now fully completed.

Simultaneously, the rewards were immediately given to Gu Xi.

The most important reward this time was certainly the position and title of the director of the Crow Department, as well as 63% control over the internal authority of the academy.

Indeed, it could be said that while Karim and the others worked hard, Gu Xi was the one who reaped the greatest rewards.

Purple titles were not like the white or green titles Gu Xi had gotten before, which were nothing more than fancy names; at the purple level, titles came with attribute bonuses.

And the attributes were quite impressive.

Most importantly, the purple title doesn’t occupy an equipment slot or carry negative effects. If it weren’t for the relatively few attributes, only two, and the fact that a person can only equip one title at a time, everyone would undoubtedly focus on titles instead of purple equipment.

[Mysterious Senior (Purple, Title)](Deans, Vice Deans, and Department Directors are all Mysterious Seniors, those on staff are Mysterious Professors, those not on staff are Mysterious Teachers, and Mysterious Academy graduates are Mysterious Students.

Mysterious Seniors are Purple, Mysterious Professors are Blue, Mysterious Teachers are Green, Mysterious Students are White)

[Equip effect: Intelligence +10, Charm +5]

[Special 1: Teaching Each Other, the department’s knowledge teaching cap +10 levels, lv +3, every student that learns the knowledge can add 100 experience points to it, and there is no bottleneck for promotion in this item (Crow Department, locked knowledge Soul Summoning Skill).]

[Special 2: Academic Grandmaster, the department’s knowledge teaching effect multiplies.]

[Explanation: To teach others, one must first master it; after teaching, one can learn it too—this is fundamental.]

Gu Xi took a close look at this title.

The levels of the academy’s president, vice president, and department directors are all the same, so it’s not a loss.

At the same time, his Soul Summoning Skill level caps at 20 instead of the usual person’s Level 10.

With the additional bonuses and his previous actions related to academy summoning, Gu Xi was astonished to find that, with the title’s addition, his Soul Summoning Skill had become 9+5, or Level 14.

At this level, even without the Soul Summoning Tower, his Soul Summoning Skill’s success rate was 100%.

In other words, Gu Xi’s summoning actions would not fail.

Furthermore, with the effect doubled, that meant a 200% success rate.

Gu Xi thought he might have chosen wrong, for selecting to teach other skills would likely result in even greater power.

However, if he hadn’t chosen Soul Summoning Skill, he wouldn’t have achieved such great gains; even if a 200% success rate for the Soul Summoning Skill seemed unnecessary, Gu Xi had no regrets.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi was also aware of his other benefits.

First, the academy’s secret chamber.

Because Gu Xi had designated it as a treasure chamber, the good things within it increased daily.

So, as long as Gu Xi remained the department director, he could automatically receive one-tenth of the treasure from the chamber annually as a reward.

In fact, this was the least advantageous kind of chamber; the others each locked their chambers to their own abilities, which enhanced their combat power.

But since Gu Xi was winning over Isabella, that chamber was essentially a guarantee for her.

This was quite a good choice.

Next was the academy’s treasure, the Six Paths Reincarnation Base, which had already been completely repaired.

The only thing missing now was a new Six Paths Reincarnation Disc.

However, this item was not as effective as the chamber; the chamber could still offer Gu Xi certain rewards annually, while this treasure, once in the academy, became a part of the institution.

Gu Xi couldn’t use it.

In the future, if Gu Xi were no longer the director of the Crow Department, this treasure would be handed over to the next director.

The only assurance was that the quality of this treasure is equivalent to purple equipment and it carries no negative effects.

Because all negative effects were borne by the Mysterious Academy.

[Six Paths Reincarnation Base (Treasure)]

[Special 1: Soul Summoning Platform, all students who enter the Mysterious Academy and contact the Six Paths Reincarnation Base, regardless of their profession, automatically learn the Soul Summoning Skill.]

[Special 2: Undead World, the Six Paths Reincarnation Base slowly influences the academy, keeping it in an undead style direction. As long as the Crow Department remains the top-ranking department, all students in the department have their strength increased by 30% within the academy, staff by 45%, professors by 50%, and department directors by 75%.]

[Special 3: Evolving Reincarnation, by placing undead-style trees like Blood Maple Tree into the Six Paths Reincarnation Base, it can slowly generate new Six Paths Reincarnation Discs (students with Soul Summoning Skills can create them and can take them out of the academy).]

[Explanation: The fastest way to learn the Soul Summoning Skill is to take a walk through the Six Paths of Reincarnation.]

Seeing the attributes of this treasure, Gu Xi knew that the Crow Department’s position as the top department in the academy was secured.

Even if no one wanted to learn the Soul Summoning Skill, the blessings of this treasure alone would far surpass the levels of other departments.

After all, enhanced power within the academy means being safer within its bounds and also influences the academy’s style. What other department could claim first place?

Seeing this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but lift his head and exclaim, ”Awesome!”
