Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

47: Chapter 47 Snow Wolf King, Two Choices.Bai Xuan demonstrated his Tier 3 strength to them.

Without exception, they all gasped in astonishment; Tier 3 was truly ridiculously strong.

Hu Da, who also possessed the ice attribute, understood the gap between himself and Bai Xuan the best.

Hu Da was relatively ambitious and steady; he made up his mind to catch up to Bai Xuan’s pace, or even surpass him.

After chatting with them for a while, Bai Xuan said his goodbyes and left.

He prepared to meet one of the three forces. If they were obedient, he didn’t mind taking them in as subordinates; but if they were disobedient, he would have no choice but to eat them all.

At the same time, after the second Aura Tide descended, there was plenty of scattered spiritual energy, including high-grade spirit stones. This was a huge amount of evolution points, so naturally, Bai Xuan would not miss this opportunity to raise his own level.

...

In the Siberia Snow Wolf pack territory, thousands of wolves were gathered here. Most were female wolves, while the other Snow Wolves went out to hunt, bringing back food to support the cubs and female wolves.

The Snow Wolf King lay on the snow, his eyes closed, resting.

Surrounding him were dozens of female wolves, whose strength was not weak at all. The highest level was Tier 2, Stage 3, and the lowest was Tier 1, Stage 7. These were all the Snow Wolf King’s mates, and naturally, there were many cubs; there were over a hundred cubs carrying the Snow Wolf King’s bloodline.

The cubs were playing in the snow, chasing and jumping around, having a great time.

With the Snow Wolf King guarding the place, it was very safe. There were only two clans that dared to provoke them: the Ant Clan and the Savage Bear Clan.

As they gained intelligence, their IQ skyrocketed. They already had a perfect survival system with clear hierarchies. Without sufficient strength, one couldn’t find a mate. Male wolves also chose stronger female wolves as mates to produce cubs with higher talent.

Naturally, the rearing wouldn’t be bad either; the next generation would be even stronger. Being their own flesh and blood, they were more trustworthy and could better establish themselves in the pack.

Those weak Snow Wolves would likely have to remain bachelors, or leave the pack, depart from the territory, and go elsewhere to find a mate. However, there were many powerful beasts now that had claimed mountains as their own and had their own territories.

Once they left the pack, it would be very difficult for them to hunt prey. They might even become prey themselves, getting killed and eaten before they could catch anything.

Even though they possessed decent intelligence, they still wanted to have their own offspring, so they worked hard in that direction, not daring to slack off, desperately trying to improve their own level and strength.

Suddenly, the Snow Wolf King opened his eyes wide, as if he had sensed something. His hearing was extremely sensitive; he could hear the slightest movement within a thousand meters.

”Wolf King, what happened?” The leading female wolf stepped forward; she was the Snow Wolf King’s head wife, with a status only second to the Snow Wolf King.

The other female wolves also became alert, calling their cubs to their sides, shielding them underneath their bodies, and vigilantly looking around, ready to deal with incoming danger at any time.

The Snow Wolf pack was indeed very strong, but there were two forces even stronger than them: the Black Ant Clan and the Savage Bear Clan.

Precisely because of this, they remained vigilant at all times. Only by staying by the Snow Wolf King’s side could they relax a little.

”A big guy is coming our way.”

The Snow Wolf King was fourteen meters long, with pure white fur all over and golden pupils, blending in with the snow. Cold air radiated from his body, and his thick fur bristled.

He assumed a fighting stance, his eyes cold and alert, baring his fangs, ready to deal with the incoming enemy at any moment.

Immediately after, a sonic boom resounded through the sky. A pale blue figure flew toward the ground at supersonic speed. A moment later, it landed on the ground, sending ripples of force and snow flying.

Subsequently, a gust of strong wind blew over, dispersing the flying snow that obscured the figure.

The owner of that figure was then revealed, appearing in their field of vision.

It was a huge eagle. Standing, it was even taller than the Snow Wolf King, with sharp eyes that seemed capable of piercing through their souls:

”Are you the Snow Wolf King?”

”It is I. Is there anything you need from me?” The Snow Wolf King, feeling the powerful aura on the giant eagle before him, instantly lost his temper and became polite.

”Now, I am giving you two choices: either submit to me, or be killed by me. Choose for yourself.”

Bai Xuan went straight to the point, directly giving the Snow Wolf King two choices; life or death was in his own hands.

”Isn’t this too overbearing? You and I are complete strangers. Even if I agree to be your subordinate, can you trust me? I think we could cooperate, help each other, and achieve a win-win situation. Wouldn’t that be better for both parties?”

The Snow Wolf King spoke reasonably. He was unwilling to submit to other species; if he were to submit, it had to be to one of his own kind, at the very least.

Furthermore, this was not something he, a single wolf leader, could decide. He had to see what the other Commander Wolves thought; after all, their strength was not weak, and major matters had to be discussed.

The Snow Wolf King was clear about these kinds of things. If things went wrong, they might gang up on him, or trigger a pack war, which would be more trouble than it was worth.

Their wolf pack had its own system. Strength was part of it, but so was intelligence. Only if one could lead the pack to greater heights would they be willing to submit to a Wolf King.

And if a Commander Wolf’s strength exceeded the Wolf King’s, he could initiate a challenge. If he defeated the Wolf King and gained the recognition of the other Snow Wolves, he could replace him and become the new Wolf King.

Precisely because of this, the Wolf King was under quite a lot of pressure.

However, fortunately, the Snow Wolf King had excellent talent, high authority, and plenty of resources. As long as he didn’t act recklessly, he could sit firmly in the Wolf King position for a long time.

The other female wolves and cubs, seeing this scene, were somewhat terrified and trembling, not daring to even breathe loudly.

Others had ugly expressions, their eyes revealing worry and anger, but they didn’t speak, leaving it to the Snow Wolf King to negotiate with him.

This was the Wolf King’s responsibility.

”There are only two choices: either submit or die. This is your last chance. You had better think clearly.”

Bai Xuan’s tone was tough, not giving the Snow Wolf King any chance for other options.

At the same time, he released his own pressure, precisely pinning it onto the Snow Wolf King.

The Snow Wolf King felt as if a great mountain was pressing down on him. His limbs went weak and shaky, and he gritted his teeth, struggling to support his body.

The surrounding snow was pushed outward. The Snow Wolf King’s body sank rapidly until it hit the ground. The ground itself was also compressed, and the Snow Wolf King’s body sank even further.

After a moment of silence, the Snow Wolf King replied:

”Even if I agree to you, the other Snow Wolves might not agree. What will you do then?”

”What do you think I will do?” Bai Xuan lowered his head, locking eyes with the Snow Wolf King, his gaze icy, emitting a strong killing intent from his entire body.

The Snow Wolf King naturally understood what Bai Xuan meant:

”Fine, I agree. But you must give me some time to convince the other Snow Wolves. If it really doesn’t work out, then you can do whatever you want with us.”

”Fine, I will give you time, but only one day. By the way, don’t think about running away; I have already memorized the scent on your bodies. If you dare to run, you will bear the consequences.”
