Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

11: Chapter 11, Second Stage, Ninth Level, Mutant Siberian TigerThree hours later, Bai Xuan successfully leveled up.

[Race]: Mutant Goshawk.

[Level]: Sub-tier Nine.

[Skills]: Heavy Peck [Max Level], Steel Claws [Max Level], Steel Feathers [Max Level], Sensory Localization [Max Level], Sonic Interference [Max Level], Berserk [Intermediate].

[System Skills]: Eye of Appraisal, Animal Communication, Super Digestion, Vocal Chord Transformation {Capable of human speech.}

[evolution points]: {90 / 200}

The energy from the two spirit stones allowed Bai Xuan to reach Sub-tier Six.

Then, consuming 240 evolution points, his level rose to Sub-tier Nine.

Jumping four levels at once caused Bai Xuan’s physique to expand rapidly. With a body length of 2.2 meters and a wingspan of 5.6 meters, he was practically a behemoth, and the cave could barely contain him anymore.

At the same time, his various skills also improved significantly; whether it was attack power, defense, vision, hearing, or smell, all had undergone a qualitative leap.

Additionally, a new skill was added: Berserk. By accelerating blood circulation, both strength and speed increase threefold, far surpassing opponents of the same level.

There was also the system skill, the ability to speak human language.

In the future, he might even be able to negotiate with humans to gain more benefits, or perhaps cooperation would be possible.

Bai Xuan understood the current situation. For the sake of the future, it was understandable that the Dragon Kingdom would eliminate some Mutated Creatures to research and gain control over them.

In his past life, Bai Xuan had also been a part of the Dragon Kingdom, but that did not mean he was willing to be slaughtered or become a research subject. Besides, there were plenty of other Mutated Creatures; they should go catch them and leave him alone.

Bai Xuan knew where he stood.

At the same time, the next evolution, which meant advancing to Tier One, would require 1000 evolution points. It seemed he would need to work even harder.

Bai Xuan stood up, walked out of the cave, spread his wings, and flew into the sky.

He dared not rest for even a moment; he had to hunt more Mutated Creatures to obtain more evolution points and spirit stones. Advancing to Tier One was not far off.

Bai Xuan also had a premonition that a great spiritual energy explosion was coming. By then, Mutated Creatures worldwide would improve once again, and all sorts of strange, massive behemoths would appear one after another.

Without powerful strength, how could he compete with them for resources? Now, whether it was animals, insects, plants, or even humans, everyone was racing against time.

Whether it would be a catastrophe or a golden age, it would depend on who had better luck.

...

The next day.

Bai Xuan had been hunting Mutated Creatures.

He ate everything—insects, plants, animals; as long as it was edible, he ate it.

There were more and more Mutated Creatures at Sub-tier Three.

He obtained two spirit stones, which meant 200 evolution points, enough to evolve.

The Siberian Tiger had already entered Sub-tier Five, but Bai Xuan decided not to touch it for the time being.

This Siberian Tiger had excellent talent; killing it now would be a real pity. It would be better to wait until it was stronger before killing it. On one hand, it could attract human attention, and on the other hand, once it became stronger, devouring it would yield more evolution points.

Meanwhile, Bai Xuan was savoring the flesh and blood of an elk. Suddenly, sensing something, he slowly turned his head to look behind him.

He saw a six-meter-long Siberian Tiger, massive, muscular, and ferocious, glaring at Bai Xuan with predatory intent. It had originally intended to ambush him, but upon seeing that Bai Xuan had discovered it, it launched itself forward and charged toward Bai Xuan aggressively.

”I wasn’t looking for trouble with you, and yet you come looking for trouble with me?” Bai Xuan unleashed his aura. A wave of killing intent surged violently toward the Siberian Tiger.

The Siberian Tiger stopped in its tracks instantly, its fur standing on end, its eyes filled with fear. The Goshawk before it was no ordinary creature!

This aura of killing intent was something Bai Xuan had mastered after killing so many Mutated Creatures.

His control over his body had become increasingly adept; he could precisely manipulate every muscle, meridian, and even his blood. As his aura erupted from within, subtle changes occurred in the surroundings, causing sand and leaves to swirl.

The Siberian Tiger turned to run, but Bai Xuan used Animal Communication: ”Stop!”

The Siberian Tiger was stunned in place, unable to move. Its eyes no longer held dominance; instead, they were filled with intense fear.

It could communicate with him without any barriers—what kind of ability was this?!

”Do you want to live?” Bai Xuan flew to a spot a dozen meters in front of the Siberian Tiger and landed on a large rock, his eyes cold and aloof.

”Yes, I do.” The Siberian Tiger let out two low growls without hesitation.

”Then be obedient. Do you understand?”

”I understand.” The Siberian Tiger lowered its proud head, feeling quite aggrieved.

It was the hegemon of this region, the King of Beasts; when had it ever felt so humiliated?

But there was no choice—it had to compromise to survive. As long as the green hills remain, there is no need to worry about firewood.

”You must have obtained that kind of mysterious stone; hand them all over to me.” Bai Xuan was not negotiating with the Siberian Tiger; he was giving an order.

”I don’t know what you’re talking about?” The Siberian Tiger feigned ignorance.

”Not giving it up? Not listening? Then there is no need for you to live.” Bai Xuan’s eyes turned cold, and he released his killing intent once more.

”I’ll give it! I’ll give it! Is that not enough?” The Siberian Tiger felt like crying.

If it had known this would happen, it wouldn’t have attacked this Goshawk.

It had thought it was the chosen one, the king of this region, destined to rule the world in the future, but now it was being slapped in the face.

It finally understood what it meant to have someone better than you, and a sky beyond the sky.

”Take me to get them. You couldn’t have eaten them all, could you?” Bai Xuan flew onto the Siberian Tiger and perched on its back.

The Siberian Tiger shook its head frantically: ”No, I was afraid of bursting from overeating, so I only ate two. I left the rest in my cave. I’ll take you there to get them right now.”

The Siberian Tiger had no complaints about Bai Xuan perching on its back, but he was really heavy. What on earth did he eat to grow so big?

The Siberian Tiger was larger than Bai Xuan in size, yet it weighed less than him. This made the Siberian Tiger even less daring to disobey Bai Xuan’s orders.

Just like that, the Siberian Tiger set off, carrying Bai Xuan toward its lair.

The reason Bai Xuan didn’t kill it was that he still wanted the Siberian Tiger to attract human attention; after all, its size was very eye-catching, and it could hold humans back for some time.

But since the Siberian Tiger had delivered itself to his doorstep, Bai Xuan simply confiscated the spirit stones. He had originally wanted to wait a while longer to let the Siberian Tiger level up faster.

”By the way, do you have a name?”

”Huzi, my mom gave it to me. My big brother is named Hu Da.”

Huzi answered truthfully. Once it reached adulthood, it was driven out of its mother’s territory to find a territory of its own.

This couldn’t help but stir up Huzi’s memories; it wondered how its mother and big brother were doing. Whether they were living well. ...
