Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

45: Chapter 45 Advances to the Third Tier, Releasing Spiritual Energy Outwards.Xiao Hei chatted with Bai Xuan for a while.

After finishing catching up, Huzi came over to Bai Xuan’s side:

”Brother Bai, we’ve snatched quite a few Low-Grade Spirit Stones over the past two days. I’ll go get them for you right now.”

Huzi took out all the spirit stones from the cave and placed them in front of Bai Xuan. Xiao Hei also brought out three mid-grade spirit stones and placed them on the ground:

”Xiaobai, your talent is much higher than ours. You should take these spirit stones; we’re still counting on you to look after us.”

Bai Xuan looked at the dense pile of spirit stones on the ground; most of them were Low-Grade Spirit Stones, with one high-grade spirit stone and six mid-grade spirit stones.

Huzi and Xiao Hei had spent quite a lot of effort snatching these spirit stones.

”Actually, I’ve snatched plenty of spirit stones myself, it’s enough. You should keep these for yourselves.”

Bai Xuan did not accept these spirit stones. On one hand, he had already obtained many spirit stones and would need to spend the next several months absorbing them, so he had enough.

On the other hand, Bai Xuan already considered Xiao Hei and Huzi friends, so naturally, he wouldn’t take them. At the same time, he would need Huzi and Xiao Hei to help him in the future to snatch resources from other ferocious beasts, so their levels needed to be raised.

”This... since I promised you, I will do it. You should at least take some. By the way, this spirit stone contains the most energy and will be very helpful to you. Brother Bai, please just take it.”

Huzi picked out that high-grade spirit stone and gave it to Bai Xuan.

Bai Xuan had saved its mother and elder brother’s lives, so Huzi was very grateful. While it was still a bit reluctant to give all its resources to Bai Xuan, it was a beast of its word, and it had to fulfill what it had previously promised.

At the very least, it had to make Bai Xuan accept this high-grade spirit stone.

”Xiaobai, just take it. Anyway, the energy contained in this spirit stone is too vast and not suitable for us to absorb; it will be put to its best use with you.”

Xiao Hei urged him.

”Since that’s the case, I will respectfully accept.” Bai Xuan nodded slightly and finally accepted the high-grade spirit stone.

Ten thousand evolution points—this was no small amount. Adding the two he had obtained previously, Bai Xuan now had three high-grade spirit stones, which meant thirty thousand evolution points.

Next, Bai Xuan prepared to go into seclusion to absorb these spirit stones and advance to Tier 3.

After some time, Bai Xuan said goodbye and flew away.

He went to find a suitable place for seclusion.

... Three months later.

[Race]: Frost Giant Eagle.

[Skills]: Tier 3 Spirit Skills, Heavy Ice Claw [Intermediate], Extreme Cold Spirit Wing [Low-level], Tier 3 Divine Sense [Intermediate], Ice Feather Tyrant Body [Intermediate], Extreme Cold Wing Blade [Intermediate], Ice Flying Blade [Intermediate], Mystic Cold Ice Rain [Intermediate], Extreme Cold Storm [Intermediate].

[System Skills]: Eye of Appraisal, Communication with Living Beings, Devour Heaven and Earth, Death Pressure, Size Manipulation, Immunity to Toxins.

[evolution points]: {5000 / 60000}

His level had leapt from Tier 2, Level 9 to Tier 3, Level 5.

Absorbing the spirit stones had yielded a total of 90,000 evolution points. He spent 90,000 evolution points to raise his level to Tier 3, Level 3. After absorbing the remaining energy contained in the spirit stones, he rose another two levels, reaching Tier 3, Level 5.

His physique, divine sense, cold ice power, skills, vision, hearing, smell, and so on, had all seen tremendous improvements.

His Flight speed broke the sound barrier, reaching 340 meters per second. This was all thanks to his level of control over spiritual energy and his own physical strength.

His wings released spiritual energy to generate thrust, achieving supersonic Flight.

His physique could withstand it, but it consumed a huge amount of spiritual energy; Bai Xuan could likely maintain supersonic Flight for two and a half hours.

Don’t underestimate these two and a half hours; at over 1,200 kilometers per hour, two and a half hours meant nearly 3,000 kilometers.

At Tier 3, he could also emit spiritual energy externally to perform long-range attacks.

On a snow-capped peak, bone-chillingly cold, inside a cave.

Bai Xuan opened his eyes, ending his cultivation, and felt the vast power within his body: ”Is this Tier 3?”

As expected of Tier 3, it was completely incomparable to Tier 2.

Following the evolution, both Bai Xuan’s body size and appearance had changed.

His body length was 11 meters, and his wingspan was 29 meters.

His appearance also changed; he had a pair of sharp golden eyes, and his Eagle Claw remained the same as before, unchanged.

The feathers on his wings and body were a gradient color, light blue on the inside, with the outer third appearing pure white. His beak was pure white, and a dark blue crystal grew on his forehead, with bright white ice patterns on both sides.

His tail feathers were like sharp swords, incredibly hard and sharp, also in a gradient color, fading from blue to white.

Bai Xuan stretched, flew to the cave entrance, and looked down at the snow-covered forest below. Suddenly, he flapped his wings, and a small tornado roared out, mixed with ice cones—its lethality could be imagined.

Immediately after, Bai Xuan waved his wings, sending out over a dozen Ice Flying Blades. With a swish-swish-swish sound, the Ice Flying Blades flew over a thousand meters away in no time before finally dissipating.

This also meant that Bai Xuan now possessed long-range attacks:

”My seclusion this time... must have been two or three months, right?”

After saying this, Bai Xuan flapped his wings and flew away, heading towards where Huzi and the others lived.

... Bai Xuan flew at supersonic speeds in the air, becoming increasingly proficient.

Then he retracted his wings, diving toward the ground like a bolt of lightning, causing condensation clouds to appear. When he was less than fifty meters from the ground, Bai Xuan pulled up, spread his wings, and flew upward, passing over the forest. The wind howled, shockwaves spread out, massive trees swayed unsteadily, and the snow on the trees fell off.

Bai Xuan flew to Huzi and Xiao Hei’s dwelling, and at the same time, brought two massive mutant deer, threw them onto the ground, reduced his body size, and stood on the carcasses.

These two mutant deer were both Tier 2.

During this period of seclusion, there were more and more ferocious beasts; there were already over a thousand Tier 2 ones, and it would likely take some time before Tier 3 ones appeared.

Rats were rampant, moving in swarms, dense and numerous. There were also many birds. Among the insects, the most prominent were the ant colonies, numbering in the thousands, terrifying in both quantity and strength, with the largest ones being about the size of a small car. They had long since adapted to the cold environment.

At the same time, there were many spirit plants. Most had already developed sentience, while a small portion had not, but they contained vast spiritual energy, similar to the heavenly treasures in the world of immortal cultivation, and had various effects when used.

”Xiaobai, you advanced?” Xiao Hei hurriedly flew out of the cave, staring at Bai Xuan in astonishment.

They had only just advanced to Tier 2 not long ago, and Bai Xuan had already advanced to Tier 3.

The terrifying aura on Bai Xuan’s body, even though he deliberately restrained it, was still immensely intimidating to them, making Xiao Hei’s body tremble uncontrollably.

Determining that he was Tier 3 was also very simple; Bai Xuan had already been Tier 2 before, and now that he had undergone such significant changes, he must have advanced to Tier 3.

And there was a reason they could recognize Bai Xuan at first glance; after all, for a raptor beast like Bai Xuan, he was the only one in the entire region, so it was very easy to recognize him.
