[System Skills]: Eye of Appraisal, Communication with Living Beings, Devour Heaven and Earth, Death Gaze, Size Manipulation [Capable of controlling one’s own body size.]

[Evolution Points]: {730/1000}

During the last Aura Tide, a total of 2,500 evolution points were obtained.

After absorbing the spirit stone energy, the level rose to Rank 1, Stage 6.

Afterward, consuming 1,700 evolution points brought the level to Rank 1, Stage 8.

Bai Xuan’s injuries had fully healed. Within the demon core inside his body, eight gas cyclones had formed, transforming from sparse to dense. This also meant that Bai Xuan could store more aura and had become more proficient in utilizing it.

His body size had also undergone significant changes, with a body length of 4.5 meters and a wingspan of 12 meters.

Whether it was attack power, defense, or speed, all had seen significant improvements.

Now, from a hundred meters away, Bai Xuan was fully confident in dodging bullets.

Taking a rocket head-on would only result in losing a few feathers, at most sustaining some superficial wounds.

The cave was filled by Bai Xuan’s massive body, making it difficult to move.

Bai Xuan utilized Size Manipulation to shrink his body to the size of an ordinary Goshawk and flew out of the underground cave.

His Divine Sense Perception could now cover a radius of a hundred miles. Combined with his ability to locate by sound, keen vision, and the ability to pinpoint any prey that entered his perception range, Bai Xuan could accurately locate them with absolute clarity.

The scorching sun hung high in the sky, blazing like fire.

”I wonder how Huzi, Little Black, and the others are doing?”

Bai Xuan muttered to himself, then flew toward Huzi’s dwelling.

Flying in the air, Bai Xuan could clearly feel that the aura had become much denser. The trees were much taller than before; some had even developed intelligence, capable of controlling their bodies to launch attacks, devour mutant creatures, bury them in the ground to become nutrients, and absorb them through their roots to enhance themselves.

Along the way, several flying mutant creatures attacked Bai Xuan, but they were killed by Bai Xuan in the blink of an eye.

As Bai Xuan was flying through the forest, hundreds and thousands of stones suddenly came hurtling toward him.

Bai Xuan had been prepared and nimbly dodged the dense barrage of incoming stones.

The air suddenly became silent, and pairs of eyes stared at Bai Xuan from all over the forest.

Little did they know, they had already entered Bai Xuan’s Divine Sense Perception and had nowhere to hide. There were quite a few mutant creatures that dared to attack him.

After all, since his body size was similar to an ordinary Goshawk, it was normal to be targeted, but it was rare for so many to come at once.

”You are indeed extraordinary!” A red-furred ape stood on a tree branch, two meters tall, head held high and chest puffed out, looking down at Bai Xuan.

Following the appearance of the red-furred ape, the apes hiding in the shadows stood out one after another, aggressive, emitting waves of chattering, screeching ape sounds.

”Does such a small, stinky bird really require us to use so much effort?”

”It is indeed making a big fuss over nothing, but we do as the boss says.”

”Don’t say that, although this little bird is small in size, it is actually quite smart.”

”Its feathers are also very beautiful; it would look great if taken back and made into an ornament.”

”This is the boss’s prey; how could it be something you or I could touch? Don’t even think about it, just honestly do as the boss says.”

...

Most of the apes had brownish-yellow fur, a few were black, and only one ape had red fur.

They were not very large; when standing up, their height ranged between 1.7 and 2 meters.

However, their levels were not low. Sixty percent were below Sub-rank 4, twenty percent below Sub-rank 7, and twenty percent were around Sub-rank 9. The highest-level one was that red-furred ape, which possessed a Rank 1, Stage 2 level.

After reaching Sub-rank 6, body size cannot determine strength; one must rely on level. At the same time, there is no lack of those who can challenge above their level, but it is rare.

”Is it necessary to make such a big scene just to deal with such a tiny bird?” Bai Xuan asked, sounding intrigued.

Standing on the branch of a large tree, he was surrounded by the apes.

”You are not like a tiny bird; you have even developed a demon core! Am I right?”

The red-furred ape jumped onto the tree in front of Bai Xuan and stared at him.

”And so what?”

As expected of mutated simian creatures, their intelligence was truly not low.

”Submit to this king, and this king will definitely not treat you poorly.”

Seeing that Bai Xuan’s intelligence was not low either, the red-furred ape had the idea of recruiting him.

”You do not have that qualification yet.” Bai Xuan smiled faintly.

Immediately afterward, terrifying killing intent emanated from his body, sweeping across his entire form.

In an instant, it shocked all the apes present. They were scared into shivering, their eyes filled with fear, their fur standing on end. Some tried to act calm, while others dared not look at Bai Xuan, lowering their heads and tucking their tails.

Gone was their initial arrogance; they became timid and cowering.

”This little brother had eyes but failed to recognize Mount Tai. Please, Big Brother, show some mercy. If there is nothing else, we little brothers will take our leave. If you need anything from us in the future, Big Brother, just say the word. Even if it means going through mountains of blades or seas of fire, this little brother will not refuse!”

The red-furred ape was sweating profusely, losing its high-and-mighty appearance, replaced by servility and flattery.

”It’s not that easy to leave.” Bai Xuan acted immediately.

In the blink of an eye, the red-furred ape’s head fell to the ground, its body following shortly after. The expression of sycophantic flattery still remained on its face; it had lost its life before it could even react.

The ape pack scattered and fled in an instant. Their arrogant red-furred ape boss had been killed in a single moment; they were no match for Bai Xuan. If they didn’t run now, when would they?

Bai Xuan had no intention of letting them go. He shuttled back and forth in the forest, reaping their lives. He unleashed Sonic Vibration, and in an instant, a large swath fell, foaming at the mouth, eyes rolled back, lying motionless on the ground.

Gradually, more and more apes fell. Bai Xuan reaped their lives as if crushing ants; they were utterly vulnerable!

In the end, all hundreds of apes were killed by Bai Xuan.

Then, they were all devoured into Bai Xuan’s stomach, and the system notification sounds rang out continuously:

[Devoured Sub-rank 8, Mutant Ape, obtained 9 evolution points.]

[Devoured Rank 1, Stage 2, Mutant Ape, obtained 20 evolution points.]

[Devoured Rank 1, Stage 1, Mutant Ape, obtained 15 evolution points.]

[Devoured Sub-rank 9, Mutant Ape, obtained 10 evolution points.]

[Devoured Sub-rank 7, Mutant Ape, obtained 8 evolution points.]

...

These weren’t even enough to fill the gaps in Bai Xuan’s teeth.

Devouring was also simple; sucking them all into his stomach took a very short time, less than a minute.

At the same time, he obtained a spirit stone from within the red-furred ape’s body, along with a demon core, all of which were devoured by Bai Xuan, granting 400 evolution points.

”Seeking your own death.” Bai Xuan shook off the blood from his body, said this, and then strode away.
