Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

37: Chapter 37 Frostwing Blades, Red-Scaled CrocodileBai Xuan dived down from the air with lightning speed.

His body grew larger, and his wings were covered in a layer of ice crystals, like a long blade, slicing right through the middle of the off-road vehicle, breaking it in half!

[ Frost Wing Blade ]

Disbelief appeared in the eyes of those warriors. The off-road vehicle lost control, crashed into a large tree, and finally stopped, billowing with thick smoke.

A moment later, a blast sounded as the engine exploded, engulfing them in raging flames. Screams rang out incessantly. Bai Xuan turned around to end their lives; ending their lives was also a way to relieve their suffering.

After all, being killed by Bai Xuan was better than being burned alive by the flames.

”This...” Hu Da watched the scene before him, stunned.

The giant steel object that he couldn’t get close to no matter what, was just cut in half like that?

And the ability to grow in size—this blue eagle was truly extraordinary!

”Alright, it’s resolved. It’s time to treat your injuries.”

Bai Xuan shrank his body, flew onto Hu Da’s back, and stood on him.

”Then... then I’ll trouble you.” Hu Da snapped out of his shock, his speech slightly slurred.

Just like that, Bai Xuan used his Eagle Claw to help Hu Da remove the bullets from his body, then used spiritual energy, cold air, and herbs to seal the wounds and stop the bleeding. It was freezing cold, but Bai Xuan kept the temperature at a level that Hu Da could withstand.

Not only did it not feel cold, but it felt cool and refreshing, which was very comfortable.

Hu Da was shocked and filled with admiration for Bai Xuan’s superb medical skills:

”Thank you, my friend.”

”You’re welcome.” Bai Xuan waved his wings.

”By the way, I still don’t know your name? How should I address you?”

”Just call me Xiao Bai, or Brother Bai,” Bai Xuan replied.

”Alright, Brother Bai, when are we going to find my mother?”

”Let’s set off now, you lead the way.” Bai Xuan squatted on Hu Da’s head.

”Okay.”

Hu Da did not feel displeased; on the contrary, he was very willing.

After all, Bai Xuan was his savior and possessed terrifying strength. Being his subordinate wasn’t something hard to accept, or perhaps, being friends.

...

Hu Da brought Bai Xuan to his mother’s territory.

Hu Da had a keen sense of smell and was searching for traces of his mother.

Meanwhile, Bai Xuan flew in the air. Standing high allowed him to see far, and combined with his terrifying vision, as long as Hu Da’s mother hadn’t died and continued to live here, he would definitely be able to find her.

Even if she were hiding in a cave, he could find her by relying on clues.

After some time, Bai Xuan finally found the dwelling of a Siberian Tiger.

He flew to the ground to inform Hu Da of this news; whether it was his mother or not would only be known after going over to confirm.

As their size increased, it was natural to find a new dwelling. Coupled with the threat of humans, it was normal for Mother Tiger to find another suitable and safe cave.

Afterwards, Hu Da followed Bai Xuan to the entrance of the cave.

Just as they approached within two hundred meters of the cave, a tiger roar emanated from the cave, deafeningly loud, causing birds and beasts to flee in all directions.

”Is that your mother?” Bai Xuan asked nonchalantly.

”Yes.” Hu Da nodded slightly.

Before the mutation, he had been driven out of the territory by Mother Tiger to fend for himself.

At that time, Hu Da and his brother didn’t have such sharp minds; they only knew how to hunt prey, eat to fill their stomachs, and get stronger. Just as they were about to enter the estrus period, the spiritual energy revived, they became mutated creatures, their intelligence awakened, and their stomachs seemed never to be full, so they searched everywhere for prey!

They even got into big fights with other Siberian Tigers just to compete for food.

Later, they gradually stabilized, and their estrus period was delayed. Their IQ grew higher and higher, and they understood that only by becoming stronger could they survive better; mating could wait for another day.

At the same time, they remembered their mother and brother and wanted to return, but were entangled by various trifles.

The revival of spiritual energy—this hard-won opportunity must not be missed!

They were all among the first batch of mutated creatures and had tenaciously survived until now.

They had avoided being hunted by other mutated creatures. Siberian Tigers were not pack animals, so facing those pack animals was still quite tricky and exhausting.

Afterward, humans joined in, and the survival environment became even more difficult.

”Mom, it’s me.” Hu Da roared twice.

”Hu Da? Why are you here?” Mother Tiger walked out of the cave.

After seeing Hu Da, her eyes softened, but she remained vigilant toward Bai Xuan.

Nowadays, the Siberian Tiger was no longer the overlord of the mountain range, and survival was even extremely difficult for some. As levels increased, size no longer determined strength.

Mother Tiger could judge from the aura radiating from Bai Xuan whether he was a threat to her. Obviously, Bai Xuan’s aura was very powerful, so Mother Tiger’s vigilance was normal.

And that roar was intended to scare Bai Xuan away.

”Mom, the mountain range isn’t peaceful right now. We need to leave here as soon as possible to find a place suitable for us to survive, and also to reunite with Hu Zi.”

Hu Da explained, stating his intentions.

”Who is he?” Mother Tiger stared fixedly at Bai Xuan.

”He is Hu Zi’s friend, here to take us to find Hu Zi.”

Hu Da hurriedly explained, fearing that Bai Xuan might become displeased.

”Brother Bai, don’t be angry. My mom just has a fiery temper. Please forgive her.”

”It’s fine. You two talk, I’ll go check the situation around here.”

Bai Xuan gave them time to be alone and explain the ins and outs. He flapped his wings and flew into the air to check the surrounding situation and see if they were being monitored by humans.

At the same time, he was going to kill a mutated creature.

It was one he had discovered while searching for traces of Mother Tiger earlier.

It was a fifteen-meter-long Red-scaled Crocodile, possessing a Tier 2, Stage 2 level.

It shouldn’t be long before it could advance in rank.

...

After a while, Bai Xuan arrived above a huge lake.

”It should be in there.”

Bai Xuan looked down at the shimmering water surface.

Previously, he had seen a huge figure in the water, slowly approaching a giant deer drinking water by the lake. Suddenly, that figure rushed out of the water, opened its bloody mouth, revealing a row of red and sharp fangs, bit the giant deer on the neck, and dragged it into the water to eat it.

At that time, Bai Xuan had thought about going to meet that crocodile, but then thought better of it; he would help Hu Da find his mother first.

At the same time, a creature entered the range of Bai Xuan’s Divine Sense Perception.

It was that big crocodile. Bai Xuan pretended not to notice, flapped his wings, and hovered steadily in the air.

That crocodile was very cautious, observing Bai Xuan fixedly from the water. After discovering that the opponent hadn’t detected it.

It exerted force with its whole body and leaped up, rushing twenty meters out of the water. It opened its bloody mouth, wanting to bite Bai Xuan in one gulp, then drag him into the water to drown him alive, and then eat him.

After dodging the bloody mouth, Bai Xuan activated [ Profound Cold Heavy Claw ].

Both Eagle Claws exerted force, striking the crocodile’s jowls heavily.

It kicked it flying, slamming it heavily onto the ground with a loud bang, smoke filled the air, and dust flew everywhere!
