Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

26: Chapter 26 Mystic Frost Scaled Eagle, Big Yellow DogHalf a month later.

Deep in the forest, a hawk’s cry pierced the sky, echoing throughout the woods, causing birds and beasts to tremble in fear and flee in all directions.

A terrifying aura emanated from a hidden cave.

Cold air spread out from the cave, adding a touch of chill to the scorching summer.

A layer of ice covered the flowers and grass on the ground, as well as the surface of the stone cave.

After Bai Xuan advanced to Tier 2, he gained the Ice Attribute.

His skills also improved significantly; ordinary artillery shells could no longer pose any threat to Bai Xuan.

Death Gaze also evolved into Death Pressure, which could cause both physical and psychological harm to lower-level living beings.

His physical appearance and size had also undergone obvious changes.

His body length reached six meters, with a wingspan of sixteen meters; he was truly a behemoth, full of intimidating power.

His feathers, originally white mixed with pale blue, had turned entirely pale blue, with the outer third of his wings fading into white.

His feet were the same as before, covered in diamond-shaped white scales.

His pupils were golden yellow, his eagle beak and Eagle Claw were pure white, and strands of cold air radiated from his entire body.

”Can one master elemental power at Tier 2?”

Bai Xuan felt the power contained within his demon core, as well as that cold air, and felt surprised.

He hadn’t expected to be able to master the Ice Attribute after advancing to Tier 2.

So, could every creature master it, or only those with high talent, or perhaps was it something only he could master?

This question could not be verified for the time being, but he believed it wouldn’t be long before more Tier 2 creatures appeared.

Bai Xuan restrained his cold air, shrunk his body to the size of an ordinary Goshawk, flew out of the cave, and arrived outside, where the scorching sun shone down on him.

Bai Xuan did not feel the heat; on the contrary, he felt quite comfortable, likely due to the cold air within his body.

”I wonder how Mom and the others are doing.”

Bai Xuan had changed a lot during this time, not just in appearance and size, but also internally; he didn’t know if they would be able to accept him in this form.

But at least he was alive, and that was good enough.

They must have been very sad after he died.

Thinking of this, Bai Xuan flew into the high sky and headed toward the direction of his home.

At the same time, humans had also become aware of what was happening in the mountains.

After all, that terrifying power had suddenly erupted; it would have been difficult for them not to notice.

...

Seven days later.

Bai Xuan traveled day and night, without stopping.

Soaring in the blue sky, he had seen many sights along the way.

There were large human settlements, towering skyscrapers, bustling tourist attractions, roads filled with heavy traffic, and so on.

Because Bai Xuan’s body was small and he soared at an altitude of a thousand meters, combined with the natural protective coloration of his feathers which blended with the sky, he was not easily discovered.

Coupled with his fast Flight speed, it was difficult for the naked eye to detect Bai Xuan’s tracks.

Finally, Bai Xuan flew into the town. Looking at the familiar scenes before him, Bai Xuan stood on the highest rooftop for a long time.

”Finally, I’m back.”

Bai Xuan muttered to himself.

After saying this, he flapped his wings and flew toward the familiar home in his memory.

From the mountains to here, Bai Xuan had seen many mutated creatures, as well as Soldiers patrolling to maintain the safety of the people.

Although some time had passed since the outbreak of mutated creatures.

Society was still very stable. Ordinary people could deal with weak mutated creatures themselves, while stronger ones, such as cats, dogs, pigs, sheep, and other larger creatures, were strictly monitored by Soldiers.

This was to prevent these mutated creatures from causing harm to humans.

There were many more mutated creatures in the mountains and forests, but they could not step into places where humans lived. They were periodically entered and some were eliminated to ensure everything remained under control.

Bai Xuan flew all the way and finally landed on a utility pole, looking at the three-story self-built house not far away. A big yellow dog was tied at the entrance, sleeping soundly on the ground.

Its size was much larger than an ordinary mongrel, with a shoulder height of 1.3 meters, significantly larger than even large dog breeds. The dog lived up to its name; its fur was yellow all over, and it was muscular and incredibly strong.

[Race]: Mutated Mongrel.

[Level]: Sub-tier, Stage 6.

”It seems Big Yellow has also evolved.”

Bai Xuan’s tone carried relief. Big Yellow was very loyal, protective of its owner, and obedient. It would be wary of strangers and diligently guarded the house.

However, it would not bite people proactively. Once the owner came out, it would no longer radiate hostility, would remember the person, and would not bark the next time they came.

At the same time, it had a very good relationship with the neighbors.

It was good that it had evolved; it could protect his family and also increase its lifespan, living longer.

Now that Big Yellow had mutated and was still alive, staying at the doorstep, it meant that Big Yellow had successfully passed the test.

However, to ensure safety, it still couldn’t wander around freely, lest it scare others. Also, the collar around its neck was equipped with a camera, a tracker, and a lethal poison.

Once it went crazy, the needle in the collar would pierce into its flesh and inject the lethal poison.

Bai Xuan naturally noticed this. For this reason, Bai Xuan did not go toward Big Yellow immediately. The camera was a problem; it had to be covered to avoid the military’s view.

Bai Xuan looked around, and after discovering no one was there, he quietly flew toward Big Yellow.

Big Yellow had a keen sense of smell. Sensing a strange and powerful force attacking it, it stood up in alert instantly.

Just at that moment, its neck felt cold; the camera was destroyed, and the monitor at the entrance was covered by a rag.

Big Yellow bared its fangs, roared several times, and looked left and right, wanting to find the creature that had attacked it.

”Big Yellow, stop barking, it’s me, Bai Xuan.”

Bai Xuan hid under a wooden chair in the corner, using a piece of cardboard to cover his side profile to avoid being discovered.

After hearing this familiar voice, Big Yellow stopped barking instantly:

”No! You are not Brother Bai, who on earth are you! Leave here quickly, or else don’t blame me for being impolite!”

So, Big Yellow called him Brother Bai.

”Due to some reason, I was resurrected, but I became an eagle...”

Bai Xuan began to explain, recounting a whole bunch of past events to make Big Yellow believe his words.

Big Yellow started to believe Bai Xuan’s words a little and asked skeptically:

”Are you really Brother Bai?”

”I am the genuine article. By the way, remember that time a few years ago? You went to meet a female dog from the neighboring village, were discovered by your original partner, who brought several dog lackeys to surround and attack you. You were beaten so miserably. Fortunately, I happened to be passing by, saved you, and took you to the vet to bandage your wounds. Xiaoya was so anxious she even cried.”

Recalling the past, Bai Xuan felt very warm.
