My Alleged Husband

Chapter 2278: Chapter 2111: When

I don’t know exactly when I fell in love with you, but I became deeply attached to you. I also understand that some things are not easy to let go, so why not be deeply in love like the sea?

After Xiao Wei’s friends urged him to carry Li Jiayuan away, he ran all the way. He was afraid that his group of brothers would catch up, and when they were making things difficult for Xiao Wei, he had the illusion that these people in front of him were like a pack of hungry wolves pouncing on him.

Not long after, Xiao Wei returned to the Li Family with Li Jiayuan in his arms, and Li Haixiao had specially prepared a bridal room for them.

Red mosquito net, red roses, red bedsheets and duvet cover... everything was red, looking festive and giving off a comfortable feeling.

”Jiayuan, did you arrange all of this?” Xiao Wei looked at the vibrant colors, initially thinking it was arranged by Li Jiayuan herself.

Li Jiayuan was a bit confused by Xiao Wei’s question, could it be that he didn’t arrange this? When Li Jiayuan saw the scene, she also thought it was Xiao Wei who set it up.

Neither of them considered if it might have been arranged by Li Haixiao.

”You didn’t arrange this?” Both asked each other in unison.

”No. Then who could it be?”

This question puzzled both of them. Who would arrange such a festive room for them?

As they were both wondering who could have arranged the room, Li Haixiao knocked on the door of Li Jiayuan’s bedroom.

”Dad, aren’t you resting yet?” Li Jiayuan was distressed about who did this, and then Li Haixiao arrived.

”Jiayuan, Xiao Wei, how is it? Does the bridal room your father set up for you look nice?” Li Haixiao’s words immediately resolved their doubts.

Li Jiayuan looked surprised, realizing it was all arranged by her father.

Xiao Wei was also taken aback, not expecting his father-in-law, already well into middle age, to have a heart that understood a young girl’s preferences!

”What’s wrong, Jiayuan, don’t you like it?” Li Haixiao asked gently seeing Jiayuan standing in front of him without speaking.

Jiayuan came back to her senses and said to her father: ”Dad, I really like it. Thank you, you’ve worked hard!”

”Silly child, it wasn’t hard for dad. You have to understand, today you’re married, your dad should do something for you, don’t you agree? I was afraid you wouldn’t like it.” Li Haixiao spoke tenderly to Jiayuan.

”How could I not, as long as it’s from dad, I like it...” Li Jiayuan, her eyes brimming with tears, said to Li Haixiao: ”Dad, it’s getting late, you should rest early. Tomorrow morning, your daughter will cook your favorite dishes for you.”

Li Haixiao happily said to Jiayuan, ”Alright, you two should rest early too. You’ve had a long day. I’ll go now and not disturb your rest...”

Li Haixiao’s comment had a double meaning, making Jiayuan’s ears turn red. Xiao Wei lowered his head, not speaking. He felt a bit embarrassed; after all, they were already married, yet the father came to say such things, it’s really embarrassing!

After Li Haixiao left Jiayuan’s room and headed to his own, Jiayuan quickly shut the door. Before she could turn around, Xiao Wei hugged her from behind, prompting Jiayuan to say: ”Husband, what are you doing?”

Xiao Wei buried his head in Jiayuan’s shoulder, sighed, and said: ”Jiayuan, we’re finally married, and hearing you call me ’husband’ tickles my heart...”

Although Xiao Wei didn’t speak very clearly, Jiayuan wasn’t a child; she could sense what Xiao Wei meant, so she blushed and said to Xiao Wei: ”Husband, don’t, I just finished eating...”

Xiao Wei usually found Jiayuan’s voice very charming, especially now when she was speaking to him in just her nightgown. Xiao Wei was almost losing his mind.

”Wife, it’s not early, we should rest. Even if you’ve just eaten, it doesn’t stop us from cultivating our relationship as a couple, right?”

Xiao Wei swayed with Jiayuan in his arms, taking advantage of Jiayuan’s relaxed guard, he rolled over and pinned Jiayuan to the bed.

”Xiao Wei, stop it, I’m not ready yet.” Jiayuan pushed against Xiao Wei, who felt a bit disappointed, never expecting Jiayuan to reject him, especially under such circumstances.

Xiao Wei released Jiayuan, saying, ”Alright, since you said so, I’ll sleep outside, leaving this room for you.”

After saying that, Xiao Wei turned to open the door, but Jiayuan quickly spoke up: ”Xiao Wei, where are you going?”

”Sigh, Jiayuan, you know, I’ve been looking forward to being with you for a long time. I always thought as long as we were together, there would be no emotional issues. But now I realize, I was overthinking it. You never thought that way, and I never expected you’d refuse me on our wedding night. Have you considered how much it hurts me inside?” Xiao Wei sighed and spoke to Jiayuan, causing her to reflect if she was being a bit unreasonable, thinking what was there left to hide since they’re married?

Jiayuan thought it over and finally spoke to let Xiao Wei stay: ”Xiao Wei, I’m sorry, I’m just not used to sharing a bed yet, that’s why I acted this way. Don’t be mad, I’ve figured it out, we’re married, why should we sleep separately?”

Xiao Wei still felt a little uncomfortable in his heart. Jiayuan knew Xiao Wei was still upset, so she said to him: ”Husband~, don’t be angry, look, the auspicious time is passing, don’t you think it’s time we should rest?”

Jiayuan coquettishly called Xiao Wei, his Adam’s apple moved as Jiayuan held his hand, leaning over to pin him down, and gently began to unbutton his shirt. Xiao Wei was on the verge of going crazy, could she not be so alluring?

Xiao Wei couldn’t hold back any longer, he flipped Jiayuan over and pinned her down, saying to her: ”You started this, don’t blame me then...”

Even so, Xiao Wei did not just take her straight away; he struggled to suppress his desire for Jiayuan and asked: ”Jiayuan, are you really ready?”

Jiayuan was deeply moved, realizing how much Xiao Wei was resisting his urges yet still asking for her consent; she was already satisfied.

”I’m ready, even though I’m a bit scared, but because it’s you, I’m not afraid!”

”Are you sure?” Xiao Wei asked uncertainly once more.

”Yes, I’m ready!”
