Wilderness Survival with Druid System

Chapter 562: Chapter 61: Bandit From the Sky

Are humans really this powerful?!

The Wolf Mink looked at Chen Wen in shock and quickly chased after him.

Meanwhile, Chen Wen took advantage of this moment to take out his hunting knife and slit the throat of the Arctic hare in his left hand.

All three Arctic hares were now dead.

The production team, watching Chen Wen’s swift and clean actions, couldn’t help but gasp in astonishment.

The temperature in the control room seemed to rise a few degrees.

”That move was just like a beast!”

”When he just jumped down from the tree, I felt like Chen was a big cat! That movement was too much like the one our cat makes!”

”I’ve heard that there are various martial arts in Hua Country that imitate animals, was what Chen Wen just displayed some sort of Kung Fu?”

”Turns out he’s a martial arts master!”

”No, he’s practically a superman...”

Everyone was discussing it; the move Chen Wen just pulled off was truly astonishing!

When the long spear was thrown, it precisely killed one Arctic hare.

At the same time, he descended from above, caught another Arctic hare with one hand, and with a reverse punch, sent one flying.

The actions were smooth and precise, no wild beast could achieve such a level, right?

Director Greg was also taken aback.

”Does this guy really have no weaknesses?”

Greg looked towards the guide beside him.

The guide shrugged, ”As it stands, aside from not being skilled in bow and arrow hunting, there really aren’t any shortcomings. His spear-throwing skills completely make up for the shortcomings of bow and arrow hunting.”

Plus, he can tame animals and occasionally playing with them can alleviate loneliness.

In terms of solo survival, this person is incredibly strong!

...

Over at Chen Wen’s side.

The Wolf Mink arrived next to Chen Wen, watching him, not in a rush to eat.

”How did you do it? Can you teach me?”

The Wolf Mink couldn’t help asking.

It truly wanted to learn Chen Wen’s hunting skills!

Chen Wen helplessly replied, ”How can I teach you? Your paws aren’t as flexible as my hands...”

”No, no, no.”

The Wolf Mink interrupted, ”I want to learn that move you used to descend from the tree!”

”I used to try hunting by pouncing from trees, but the failure rate is too high. Can you help me?”

Chen Wen shook his head.

He couldn’t help with this at all; his hunting relied on traits, experience, and situational responses.

Even if he tried again, he couldn’t guarantee hunting three rabbits directly.

The Wolf Mink felt a bit disappointed.

But before Chen Wen could comfort it, it eagerly looked at the Arctic hare in Chen Wen’s hand: ”Forget it, rather than learning from you, let’s work together more often to hunt; you do the work, and I eat the meat!”

Alright!

Chen Wen’s mouth twitched in speechlessness.

However, providing food to special animals was something Chen Wen had agreed upon with them.

Chen Wen wasn’t dissatisfied in the least.

He removed the rabbit pierced by the long spear and tossed it to the Wolf Mink.

The Wolf Mink immediately tore into the rabbit’s body, devouring its flesh and blood with large bites.

Chen Wen also found a spot where the sun could reach and sat down to rest.

Due to the recent bumpy hunting, the Stoat also emerged.

Seeing the Wolf Mink eating fresh meat, it couldn’t help but say, ”I want to eat too! The meat you gave me before wasn’t tasty! I’m not full yet!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Wen gestured for it to eat together with the Wolf Mink.

Suddenly recalling something, Chen Wen immediately said, ”No need to fight over it, I still have two more here.”

Upon hearing this, the Wolf Mink, which had intended to guard its food, immediately relaxed.

It tore the rabbit’s body into two parts, generously sharing half with the Stoat.

Seeing the food much larger than itself, the Stoat was quite delighted.

After actively expressing gratitude to the Wolf Mink, it lay down and started eating heartily.

Seeing the harmonious scene between the two animals, Chen Wen nodded in satisfaction.

It’s fortunate he mentioned it; otherwise, there might have been a repeat of the previous incident in Yukon, involving a Golden Eagle and Canadian lynx’s fight.

The matter here was resolved.

Chen Wen was feeling quite comfortable in the sunlight.

He couldn’t help but lift his head to gaze at the azure sky.

”Sigh, I wonder how long this sun will last. In the latter half of survival, it will be winter, all ice and snow, and mostly cloudy. No, I must seize this last chance to enjoy it more!”

Chen Wen lay down, letting his body rest on the soft fallen branches and leaves.

In this extremely cold winter region, there are no snakes, which is why Chen Wen could lie there with peace of mind.

Lying on the ground, looking up at the sky.

Under the vast blue sky, Chen Wen was getting drowsy from the sunlight.

He squinted his eyes, just thinking of taking a break when.

Suddenly, a black dot in the sky caught Chen Wen’s attention.

”Hmm? What’s that thing? How’s it flying so fast?”

Chen Wen murmured, using [Extreme Vision] to look carefully.

After a moment, as the black dot started diving from above, Chen Wen saw it clearly.

”That seems to be some kind of eagle? So fast! Is it diving? Ready to hunt?”

Chen Wen couldn’t help but say.

At that moment, he wasn’t aware that danger was imminent.

But as the eagle in the sky descended faster and faster, almost becoming a straight line.

Chen Wen suddenly realized that the eagle’s flight path seemed to be heading in his direction!

”No! Stoat, get out of the way! Wolf Mink, move aside too!”

Chen Wen leapt up with a carp jump, swiftly standing.

He grabbed his long spear, squinting his eyes towards the sky.

And the Stoat, having received Chen Wen’s warning, trembled, its sensitivity to predators hinting at looming danger.

The Stoat, quick as can be, immediately darted between Chen Wen’s legs, hiding in his shadow.

The Wolf Mink was a bit slower.

However, hearing the seriousness in Chen Wen’s voice, it instinctively sought a place to hide.

And by then, the eagle from the sky had already swooped nearby.

It flapped its wings in the air, extending its claws towards the rabbit the Stoat was just eating.

With a swoosh, accompanied by the turbulent scattering of air.

The eagle precisely snatched half of the rabbit.

After grabbing the rabbit, it beat its wings vigorously, attempting to ascend and escape.

Stealing food from the Stoat and the Wolf Mink was easy.

But stealing right in front of Chen Wen, the difficulty multiplied exponentially!

Chen Wen wielded his long spear without any hesitation, mercilessly swinging it at the eagle.

The long spear anticipated the eagle’s flight path, targeting just above its body.

As the long spear swept across, the eagle crashed into it as if it was playing dead.

Bam!

A dull sound echoed, and the eagle was flung sideways as if hit by a large truck.

Bam!

Another thud!

The eagle was struck by Chen Wen’s long spear onto a tree, intimately connecting with the tree.

The eagle seemed to have been knocked out by the spear, now lying motionless on the ground.

After calming the Stoat, Chen Wen quickly walked to the eagle’s side.

He looked carefully at the eagle; it was still alive.

However, having taken a heavy hit, the eagle seemed a bit stupefied.

It struggled, trying to stand, but couldn’t steady itself.

Chen Wen pressed the eagle down, lifting it up.
