Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1000: Chapter 593: Elizabeth Seren and Gediyah Lawrence

He Wenyun is someone who is very proud of herself.

Zhou Yun knew this from the beginning when she first got to know He Wenyun.

If a person is proud, you can tell from their every word and action.

Many people don’t like to associate or interact with such people because they find them ”difficult to deal with.”

However, Zhou Yun does not feel aversion toward He Wenyun.

Zhou Yun thinks this is probably because she actually appreciates someone’s self-pride, as long as it doesn’t negatively affect those around them.

Compared to self-pride, self-abandonment is probably more of a headache.

Every time Zhou Yun encounters someone like He Wenyun, she can’t help but think this way.

What Zhou Yun didn’t expect was that her conflict with Bruce was actually spread around.

In the latter half, a very famous actress, Elizabeth Seren, greeted her upon introduction and bluntly said, ”Are you the one who argued with Bruce?”

Zhou Yun hadn’t even reacted when Elizabeth Seren happily said, ”I’ve argued with him too.”

Zhou Yun was very surprised, not expecting Elizabeth Seren to talk so happily about arguing with Bruce.

But Elizabeth Seren seemed carefree, saying, ”Bruce is very petty, watch out, so he doesn’t secretly bear a grudge against you.”

Zhou Yun just smiled and agreed, then thanked her for the reminder.

It was only then that Elizabeth Seren seriously sized up Zhou Yun and said, ”I heard you are a very famous actress in China, is that right?”

Zhou Yun found it hard to say yes or no.

”Sort of,” she said, ”Of course, you also have a lot of fans in China who like you very much.”

Elizabeth Seren said, ”I went to China once two years ago when my movie was released there. I love the food in your country, so many delicious things.”

When talking about food, Elizabeth Seren’s eyes actually lit up. This surprised Zhou Yun a bit, not expecting her to be such an outgoing and enthusiastic person in private.

It was the first time they met, yet Elizabeth Seren didn’t just perfunctorily chat with her, but started a genuine conversation.

”Welcome to come to China again,” Zhou Yun said, ”If there’s time and a chance, I’ll take you to eat more delicious food.”

Elizabeth Seren nodded, ”It’s a deal then.”

Zhou Yun smiled.

”Hey, Elizabeth,” another actress walked over at this time.

Zhou Yun recognized her too; she was also a famous actress from the United States, named Gediyah Lawrence. But unlike Elizabeth Seren, Gediyah Lawrence, although an actress as well, was far less acclaimed than Elizabeth Seren.

Since her debut, Elizabeth Seren hasn’t acted in many films, but several of them were Oscar-worthy productions. Although she hasn’t received any Oscar nominations, she has been praised and looked upon favorably by the entire film industry, with many believing it’s only a matter of time before she wins an Oscar for Best Actress.

Not only has she performed in art films like ”Eyes” and ”The Mystery of Silence,” but she has also starred in critically acclaimed commercial blockbusters like the ”Universe” series, earning her fans worldwide.

Gediyah Lawrence, on the other hand, took a different path than Elizabeth Seren. She debuted as a child star, constantly in the spotlight. Since high school, her romances have been the focus of media attention and pursuit worldwide, and she is rather dramatic, often making jokes and becoming a viral sensation online. As an actress, she has hardly acted in any critically acclaimed films, but she has loyal fans in street photography and fashion. Her fame has grown with her relationships and fashion appearances, but this hasn’t helped her acting career at all.

Zhou Yun hadn’t spoken yet, but heard Gediyah Lawrence say to Elizabeth Seren, ”Elizabeth, why are you talking to this Chinky? I wanted to chat with you.”

Although Gediyah Lawrence never once looked at Zhou Yun, Zhou Yun could tell from the derogatory and insulting term ”Chinky” what Gediyah Lawrence’s attitude toward her was.

Zhou Yun didn’t show an awkward smile, but simply gave Gediyah a cold glance, and said to Elizabeth Seren, ”Elizabeth, since your friend is here to see you, I’ll take my leave.”
