Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 970: Chapter 588: Wrap

Liu Yun made Zhou Yun a ginger fish soup.

Zhou Yun had a cold, and ginger fish soup is known to replenish energy, dispel cold, and clear dizziness.

Zhou Yun drank a bowl, and warmth spread from inside his body, a warm current flowing through.

It was already autumn, and the gray sky outside the hospital window was tinged with loneliness.

This kind of serene, autumn morning felt like something one could only encounter when waking early for school. In the sky outside, black birds occasionally flew by, their wings like the tips of a pen leaving spots of black ink, disappearing in an instant.

Zhou Yun drank the soup, felt warm, and then took the bowl of porridge, drinking a bowl of shredded chicken porridge.

Liu Yun knew Zhou Yun preferred strong flavors, so she added a bit of olive pickle to the chicken porridge. The oil in the pickle made it very appetizing.

”Comfortable,” Zhou Yun said, putting down the bowl, ”After finishing breakfast, I feel completely revitalized.”

Zheng Xiaojue ate happily, saying, ”Yunyun’s cooking skills are amazing. Whoever marries you in the future would be very lucky.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Indeed, Liu Yun’s talents are wasted on being my assistant. With skills like this, you should start a restaurant and become your own boss, business would be great.”

Liu Yun shook her head, saying, ”I can’t do it alone.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Hire some help. Xiaoyun, don’t you enjoy experimenting with cooking?”

Liu Yun said, ”I’m very interested in cooking, loved staying in the kitchen since I was little, especially when I see people enjoying the food I make, I feel very happy. But opening a restaurant requires more than just good culinary skills, I can’t manage that.”

Zheng Xiaojue laughed and said, ”If we stop doing this in the future, I’ll partner with you. I’ll handle the management, and you take care of the cooking—it’s perfect.”

Zhou Yun thought seriously, saying, ”Sounds quite feasible.”

Zheng Xiaojue laughed in surprise, asking, ”Sister Xiao Yun, you actually think it sounds feasible?”

Zhou Yun said, ”It does sound feasible. Xiaoju, you’re already good at dealing with people, aren’t you?”

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”I never thought of it that way.”

”Sister Lan evaluated you like that, and I think so too,” Zhou Yun said. ”But let’s leave the restaurant matter for the future, at least for the next few years, I really can’t do without you guys.”

Zheng Xiaojue nodded.

”These next few years we’ll definitely work hard, so Sister Xiao Yun can move forward with peace of mind.”

Zhou Yun glanced at the time, saying, ”It’s getting late, we should head to the set. Xu Jinbo mentioned arranging a car to pick us up, but I don’t know when it will be here.”

Zheng Xiaojue asked in shock, ”Sister Xiao Yun, are you going to the set today?”

”Yes, I feel much better after a nap,” Zhou Yun said, ”I can participate in filming today.”

Zheng Xiaojue hesitated, seemingly unsure whether to advise Zhou Yun.

But seeing Zhou Yun’s determination, Zheng Xiaojue knew she wouldn’t be able to persuade her.

Zheng Xiaojue sighed and said, ”Alright, I’ll get in touch with the transport team from the crew.”

”Okay.”

Zhou Yun returned to the crew and continued filming.

Xin Zhike’s performance was also unprecedentedly good, with fewer NGs and faster filming speed than before.

Everyone worked together, and on the day ”Deep Sea” wrapped up, the sun shone brilliantly.

Autumn, with the air still a bit cool.

After the sun came out, the entire sky had a pristine, azure texture.

The sunlight spilled down, and everyone’s face was filled with the joy of finally getting a break.

When Zhou Yun and Yuk Chu finished the last scene, Cui Xidong shouted ”Cut!”, and everyone knew this take would pass, meaning the movie was finally wrapped.

Sure enough, after checking, Cui Xidong shouted ”Pass!”, and the set erupted in cheers.

Zhou Yun and Yuk Chu hugged each other.

Yuk Chu said to Zhou Yun, ”I’m going to miss you.”

Zhou Yun said, ”If there’s a suitable script in the future, we’ll act together again.”

”Okay,” Yuk Chu nodded.

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”Anyway, you’re at Chengqian Entertainment now, we’re in the same company, collaboration is easy. But I do hope you can play leading roles in the future.”

Yuk Chu shook his head, saying, ”I don’t have that ambition, I just want to shoot more scenes, earn some money, and then just improve my acting skills, that’s enough to justify my place.”
