Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 972: Chapter 588: Wrap Filming_3

Yuk Chu, Wang Jing, and Gu Huaichun are now capable of holding their own, able to convince platforms and investors to give the green light. Of course, Gu Huaichun himself is a signed actor with Yuehai.

Besides them, Song Chi is even more so.

Due to various reasons, many good scripts may not reach Song Chi’s hands now.

Perhaps due to small investments, or low pay, and so on.

But these aren’t issues for Song Chi, because he has investors backing him, who can bring investment into the crew, easing the financial burden of the production.

Apart from them, Zhou Yun also has those actors she’s worked with before, those excellent actors, including Zhang Mo from their collaboration on ”Falling Leaves,” who is now a signed actor with Chengqian Entertainment and is also He Yong’s most strongly promoted actor.

Zhou Yun is willing to introduce good roles to these good friends of hers.

Xu Jinbo is a producer who receives various scripts every day, whether it’s an outline or just a concept.

But it’s precisely this massive amount of project ideas that allows him to sift for gold in the desert.

Zhou Yun said, ”If you need my help, just let me know anytime.”

Xu Jinbo nodded and agreed.

”Then I’m off,” Zhou Yun said, ”Don’t forget to contact me after wrapping up, call me when you have time, let’s have a meal together.”

Xu Jinbo nodded again and agreed.

Zhou Yun smiled, waved one last time at everyone, boarded the car, and set off on the way home.

After all, there was still a feeling of departure.

Zhou Yun exhaled softly, feeling quite sentimental.

Another project has wrapped up.

Looking back at these past few years, Zhou Yun thought to herself, she has been filming one drama after another, quite a lot of dramas.

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but self-deprecatingly think, could she be considered a seasoned actress now?

At this moment, Song Chi suddenly called her.

”I heard you wrapped up?” Song Chi’s voice carried a hint of laughter.

Zhou Yun asked, ”How did you know so quickly? Was it Sister Lan who told you?”

”Hmm, I’m to blame for bringing you over. As soon as you wrap up, you come straight to me, causing her to decline a lot of work, she has to turn them down.”

”I’m too tired, need a break. I’ve told Sister Lan that I won’t take on as much work anymore,” Zhou Yun said, ”Don’t listen to her nonsense, even if I don’t come to you, I wouldn’t take on so much work. I need a good rest to recharge.”

Zhou Yun didn’t want to give Song Chi the impression that she was turning down work just to see him, which would burden him mentally.

Of course, she wasn’t lying either.

Zhou Yun had previously told Zhou Lan not to schedule other work after wrapping up.

Except for the ones already decided.

Because she’s about to go to the United States to promote ”Behind the Scenes,” and before that, she doesn’t have much time. She hoped to spend all of this time with Song Chi.

She returned to Shanghai for a bit, went home, packed some things, and brought along some homemade seasonings that Liu Yun had prepared beforehand to visit Song Chi at the ”Laissez-faire” set.

This film had been shooting for a long time and had yet to finish.

As a result, the subsequent films Song Chi was supposed to shoot were affected.

When Zhou Yun arrived at the ”Laissez-faire” set, it was already evening.

The sun was setting.

Zhou Yun didn’t go to the set but waited for Song Chi at the hotel.

Song Chi said he had a major night scene in the evening, expecting to finish by midnight.

Zhou Yun agreed but didn’t tell him that she had already arrived.

She was by herself, giving Zheng Xiaojue and the others a holiday.

They had been with her for so long at the set, giving them a good rest was nice. Soon, they’ll be following her to the United States, and there’ll be various promotional work, which won’t be easy.

Zhou Yun booked a room herself and took a nap.

She woke up after half an hour.

The sky wasn’t completely dark yet, a cobalt blue.

Zhou Yun opened the window, and a cool breeze flowed in, very comfortable.

Outside the hotel, there were quite a few people moving around, and from a distance, sounds of laughter could be heard.

Zhou Yun snapped a photo of the twilight outside the window and posted it on Weibo.

Ever since she revealed her average family background on Xin Zhike’s livestream last time, followed by posting a line of Gu Cheng’s poetry, she hadn’t updated any status.

Many fans commented under her Weibo daily, saying they missed her, saying they wanted her to post more updates.

But she didn’t like the atmosphere on Weibo, so she never showed up or posted anything.

Now that some time has passed, she felt it was about time to update her status.
