Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 961: Chapter 585: Livestreaming the Rich Beauty

”What’s up? Did you need me for something?”

Zhou Yun asked curiously.

Xin Zhike said, ”I have a livestream tonight, could I invite you to pop by my stream?”

He looked expectant.

Zhou Yun was taken aback.

Out of all the artists she knew, Xin Zhike was the first to proactively invite her to his livestream.

However, Zhou Yun wasn’t surprised.

Because after spending some time together, she realized this is exactly the kind of person Xin Zhike is.

In his mind, there’s practically no distinction between people; he says whatever’s on his mind, even with directors.

Zhou Yun asked curiously, ”What are you streaming tonight?”

”It’s a promotional event arranged by the company, but don’t worry, not commercial.” Xin Zhike replied, ”Just chatting with fans, singing songs, stuff like that.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yun nodded and said, ”Alright, no problem. So how do I come by?”

”Just come find me between eight-thirty and nine in the evening, in my room,” Xin Zhike said, ”My staff will all be there.”

”Alright, got it.” Zhou Yun laughed, ”Just don’t use level ten beauty filter, that’s really ugly.”

Xin Zhike nodded, ”I know, do I need beauty filters with this face?”

He was full of confidence.

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but roll her eyes, ”That’s enough.”

Xin Zhike laughed gleefully.

After he left, Zheng Xiaojue asked in surprise, ”Sister Xiao Yun, you agreed so easily to join Xin Zhike’s livestream?”

”What’s the issue? Isn’t it nice that I’m joining your idol’s livestream?”

”I’m happy, but isn’t it way too easy?” Zheng Xiaojue said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, do you know how many people are willing to spend millions just to get you to do a livestream for their brand?”

Zhou Yun pursed her lips, ”Who dares do such streams? Spending that much money just for a livestream—they’re not making money, they definitely are, and it’s a huge profit. How’s the product quality guaranteed then? Look at the brands I endorsed, which would spend that much to get me to stream? It’s not that they can’t afford it, they just crunch the numbers, it’s not worth it. How many products can you really sell in one stream? So, if someone is willing to spend money on my stream, the quality mostly has issues.”

”But...”

”No buts, Xin Zhike’s stream isn’t commercial, it’s a fun fan appreciation event, nothing wrong in joining for some fun.” Zhou Yun said, ”I’m actually quite happy someone finally invited me to their stream.”

Zheng Xiaojue was utterly shocked.

”Do you know how many people want to invite you to their streams?”

”But none have actually asked, Xin Zhike’s the first.” Zhou Yun smiled, ”Don’t you think Xin Zhike is quite interesting? I really like his personality.”

Zheng Xiaojue mumbled, ”I just focus on his face all day, no time to think about his personality.”

Zhou Yun: ”... Zheng Xiaojue, you’re a total face fanatic.”

Zheng Xiaojue accepted Zhou Yun’s comment with pride, ”I’m proud, I’m self-assured.”

Zhou Yun also laughed.

Actually, in our era, regardless of gender, expressing one’s thoughts candidly, confronting one’s own weaknesses openly without hiding or faking, is itself a kind of progress.

Zhou Yun appreciated Zheng Xiaojue’s upfront attitude towards liking handsome guys.

Because to some extent, she’s still reserved, unable to truly admit she pays attention to appearances.

Thinking back, she had the same inclination towards Zhiyang initially.

Why did she insist on Yu Zhiyang as the lead in ”Under the Grand Dress”? It was because his looks fit her aesthetic.

She felt that performing with Yu Zhiyang could really spark some chemistry.

People seem to hope only the ones they truly love and like are uniquely beautiful, hoping lovers see perfection in each other, and if not, no matter how good-looking, they won’t spare a glance.

But in reality?

People aren’t blind, men check out chests, women check out abs, it’s just physiological drives.

How can one suppress physiological drives and portray a saint in terms of emotions?

Zhou Yun thought about herself, thought about Song Chi, and couldn’t help but smile.

When Song Chi pursued her, wasn’t it smooth partly because of his looks?
