Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 974: Chapter 588: Wrap-Up (Part 5)

Zhou Yun only felt a buzzing in her ears.

The elevator finally reached the floor where the restaurant was located. Zhou Yun directly said to the person, ”I’m sorry, saying this might make you uncomfortable, but I hope you can keep a little distance from me in public. I don’t want to be photographed by paparazzi or anyone else, and have rumors of me and you spread online.”

The man was stunned immediately, stopping in place.

Zhou Yun nodded, saying, ”Thank you.”

After speaking, she quickly walked a few steps forward, putting some distance between her and the man.

Song Chi was waiting for her at the restaurant entrance.

He was surrounded by two young girls, who were asking for a photo with him.

Song Chi saw her coming over and politely declined.

”Sorry, I’m not available right now.”

After he said this, he waved to Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun jogged over, smiled at Song Chi, and said, ”Let’s go in.”

”It’s Zhou Yun!” The girls who wanted a photo with Song Chi exclaimed softly.

Zhou Yun smiled at them, saying, ”Sorry, it’s been hard for us to meet, please give us a bit of space.”

The two young girls nodded like pecking chicks, their cheeks blushing.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi walked into the restaurant under everyone’s gaze.

Both of them only ordered some light porridge and snacks.

Zhou Yun noticed Song Chi’s slightly tired face and asked, ”Can you rest for a bit later? Do you have filming today?”

”In the afternoon,” Song Chi said, ”After breakfast, I’ll go upstairs to rest for a bit. I have to be at the film set by three.”

He said, ”Sorry, I don’t have time to accompany you even though you’re here.”

Zhou Yun shook her head, saying, ”Being able to see you is enough for me. You go ahead with your work. I’ll go with you to the set in the afternoon to watch you act.”

Song Chi laughed.

”Why? Last time I watched you act at your place, now you want to reciprocate?”

”Yeah,” Zhou Yun said, ”Let’s see if you have a chance at the Best Actor award this time.”

”Haha, alright, please guide me, Movie Queen,” Song Chi said with a laugh.

Zhou Yun gazed at Song Chi, her eyes involuntarily softening.

Zhou Yun hadn’t looked at Song Chi’s face this closely for a long time.

The last time?

The last time seemed to be two months ago.

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but think of that one morning when she woke up and could see Song Chi’s face, right within reach, even the pores on his face were clear.

Song Chi was sleeping with his eyes closed, his expression peaceful.

Zhou Yun thoroughly enjoyed such moments, the feeling of quietly examining him.

Song Chi, after being watched by Zhou Yun for a long time, became a bit embarrassed and said, ”Don’t keep staring at me.”

Zhou Yun said, ”I haven’t seen you for a long time, let me look a bit longer.”

Song Chi had no choice but to let Zhou Yun continue watching him like this.

There were many eyes around them, but the two of them completely ignored these surrounding gazes, enjoying this rare breakfast time as if no one else was around.

After eating, Zhou Yun said, ”Let’s go upstairs, make the most of this time and rest a bit longer, you have to be at the set by three in the afternoon.”

Song Chi nodded.

”What about you?”

Zhou Yun said, ”I’ll rest in my room, when you wake up in the afternoon, I’ll go to the set with you.”

”Alright,” Song Chi nodded.

Zhou Yun said, ”Let’s go.”

On the first day at the set, Zhou Yun didn’t see Song Chi.

On the second day at the set, Zhou Yun finally got to see Song Chi, but only for a breakfast, and then Song Chi had to rest.

But Zhou Yun didn’t feel unhappy at all.

She knew that this little time together was hard-won.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi hugged and kissed in the elevator.

It was hard to part.

Zhou Yun said, ”No worries, go and rest well first. I’m leaving the day after tomorrow, we still have plenty of time.”

Song Chi rested his head on Zhou Yun’s neck, his lips curling with a tired smile, ”What were you thinking about?”

Zhou Yun chuckled softly, ”Don’t tell me you weren’t thinking about that.”

Song Chi laughed without saying anything.

Zhou Yun: ”Go to sleep.”

Song Chi responded with a hum.

...

In the afternoon.

Ning Xiner got off the trailer, and her assistant immediately held up a parasol over her head.

Even though the sun wasn’t harsh today, Ning Xiner always maintained strict sun protection.

Her skin was very fair, and many endorsements had chosen her for her cool fair complexion, so she couldn’t afford to get any tan, or it would affect her commercial value.
