Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 966: Chapter 586: The Evening Glow Is Beautiful (3)

Zhou Yun thought about the movie ”No Questions about West and East,” where the students of Southwest United University sat in a metal-roofed house listening to the rain.

Truly listening to the rain.

Their whole state of mind was cleansed thoroughly.

That was poetry as beautiful as orchids in a secluded valley during an era of war and turmoil, a defiant and stubborn poetic stand by those students in the tunnel of time.

Zhou Yun thought about herself, about the industry she works in now, about her influence, and about the noisy voices about her on the Internet.

A strong urge to express herself suddenly welled up inside her.

She had to say something.

So, she took out her phone, opened Weibo, edited, deleted, refined, and finally decided.

——One can live like an ant and be beautiful like a god (Gu Cheng).

Send.

Outside the window, a figure ran closer through the rain.

Zhou Yun looked up and was shocked to see that the person in the rain was Xin Zhike.

He was holding an umbrella, awkwardly stepping through the water that had formed into small streams, and came to her trailer, knocking on the door.

”Xiao Yun, it’s Xin Zhike, open the door.”

Zhou Yun quickly went to open the door.

The rain slanted in.

Xin Zhike got into the car, put away the umbrella, and closed the door. His head was wet with rain, as if he’d just showered.

He looked up at Zhou Yun and gave her a brilliant smile, handing over the bag in his hand.

”I got you the coffee.”

Zhou Yun exclaimed, ”In such heavy rain, you still bothered with my coffee?”

Xin Zhike said, ”I promised to treat you.”

Zhou Yun said, ”There was no rush to bring it now, such heavy rain, your hair is wet, Xiaoju, do we have a clean towel on the car?”

Zheng Xiaojue found an unused towel and handed it over.

Xin Zhike wiped his face and hair, wearing a bright smile.

”This little rain is nothing. We’ve played soccer in worse rain.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Alright, when you guys are older, you’ll get rheumatism.”

”Why do you talk just like my mom?” Xin Zhike joked.

Zhou Yun shrugged.

Xin Zhike sat down and curiously looked around the interior of Zhou Yun’s trailer, asking, ”Xiao Yun, is this trailer yours or did the crew prepare it for you?”

”The crew prepared it,” Zhou Yun said. ”With it around, it’s more convenient for me to change clothes and remove makeup.”

Xin Zhike nodded, somewhat envious, and said, ”Who knows when I’ll go out filming and the crew will give me a trailer.”

”There will be such a day in the future, don’t worry,” Zhou Yun said. ”When you reach a certain point, the crew will naturally prepare one for you.”

Xin Zhike laughed and said, ”Knowing how stingy my company is, who knows when that will be. Our company hasn’t even given Brother Gu his own trailer yet.”

Zhou Yun was surprised and asked, ”Gu Huaichun?”

”Yes,” Xin Zhike nodded, ”Only a nanny car is arranged, everyone says our company is very stingy. When Brother Gu goes out to film, other companies and crews will prepare a trailer for him, but for our own productions, there never is one.”

This truly surprised Zhou Yun.

Gu Huaichun has had good luck these past few years, none of his dramas have flopped, all were small hits, and his fan base is very strong and powerful. In all aspects, he’s not inferior to the top streamers, and with Yuehai backing him, he’s essentially reached a quasi-first-tier position in the industry. Everyone acknowledges him and he’s a coveted male lead for major production teams.

Yet, filming for his own company, Yuehai doesn’t even prepare a trailer for him.

Zhou Yun thought Yuehai was indeed terribly stingy.

This heavy rain lasted for half an hour.

After half an hour, the rain stopped and the sky cleared.

The outdoor scene was ruined, unable to film, they had to move back to the indoor set.

By the time filming finished, it was already evening.

The sunset came out, and the sky was filled with evening clouds.

Zhou Yun looked up to see the magnificent cloud formations enveloping the world like a sprawling sky canopy, she couldn’t resist capturing the scene and shared it with Song Chi.

She said: Today’s sunset is beautiful.

After a while, Song Chi also sent back a photo, also of the sunset, but from a different angle, the same scenery.

Song Chi said: This is the sunset from my side.

Zhou Yun exclaimed: What a coincidence, the sunset at your place looks so similar to ours.

Song Chi: Haha.

Zhou Yun: I’m finished for the day, what about you?

Song Chi: Not today, there’s a big night scene, waiting for the shoot.

Zhou Yun: Take care.

Followed by an emoji of a little figure massaging shoulders and back.

Song Chi: You must be wrapping up soon, right?

Zhou Yun: Yes, it’s almost done, happy, I’ll visit you once it’s over.

Song Chi said okay, he said: Waiting for you to come over.
