Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1076: Chapter 1072: The Monk May Run, but the Temple Remains

The security officer tried to resist again, but the burly man swung an iron rod straight at him, hitting the officer on the neck solidly. The security officer, whose waist and abdomen injuries had just been treated by Huo Sining, was knocked out by the blow.

The passengers in the business class immediately panicked and wet themselves.

No one expected that there were actually two hijackers hidden in the business class, and these two looked fierce and menacing, ready to go berserk at any moment, completely breaking down the passengers in business class.

”Ah!”

”More hijackers!”

”Another two hijackers appeared!”

”They’re killing people, run away!”

Seeing the hijackers emerge, the passengers screamed again. A group of people started to swarm toward the economy class, as if running to the back of the plane, believing the farther they were from the hijackers, the safer they would be.

The scene descended into chaos in an instant, shoulder to shoulder, with almost a stampede occurring.

In dangerous situations, the ugliness of human nature is most evident. Some men, in order to save themselves, even left their wives and children behind, while others pushed the elderly, weak, women, and children aside to rush into the economy class first. Those successful businessmen who used to disdain the crowded and cheap economy class envied the people there.

Within just a minute, more than half of the business class was cleared, leaving only a few scattered individuals hiding behind the seatbacks.

Huo Sining also seized the chaos to run out, but her target wasn’t the economy class, it was the restroom. Taking advantage of no one noticing, she slipped into the restroom.

On the other side, the economy class was overcrowded, while the business class was desolate. Seeing this, the flight attendants fell into despair, and a female attendant cried out sharply:

”Why are you people like this, are you even men? You run when encountering a few hijackers, you can run away but not the temple, the more you hide, the more you play into the hijackers’ hands!”

However, no one responded to the flight attendant’s shouting, everyone hunched their necks and hid, afraid to attract the hijackers’ attention, not one dared to step forward.

The flight attendant couldn’t help but shout: ”If you want to live, you must deal with them. I’ve seen, quite a few of you came with families or even students, if you run, who will protect the elderly, children, women, and students? If you are real men, stand up, don’t be cowed by a knife and a steel pipe! We are a whole bunch of people, are we really afraid of two hijackers? That steel pipe is a blunt object, the knife is also simple, the lethality is very limited, even if really injured, it absolutely won’t be life-threatening, moreover, we have a doctor on board who can definitely treat us!

This speech slightly stirred some of the men, a few gradually became restless.

At this time, an Old Granny sitting in a central rear position in the cabin suddenly stood up and angrily said: ”If no one else is going, I will. I’ve learned Tai Chi, maybe it can be useful!”

Everyone knows how it is when someone talks about practicing Tai Chi; there are countless elderly practicing push-hands at the fitness plaza downstairs every morning, but that’s the hybridized fancy version of Tai Chi, flashy and flowers in the air, meant to keep a few elders physically fit. To actually brawl with hijackers, those moves are practically of no use.

But more important than the question of whether an Old Granny can fight, is that even an elderly woman dare stand up, yet these men one by one shrink like turtles, none dare to step up.

The faces of many men in the cabin turned crimson, each wishing they could find a crack in the ground to hide.

Zhou Zeping, sitting at the back of the cabin with his students, felt ashamed and angry as he saw the situation unfold; he had been concerned for their safety, but now seeing even an Old Granny stand up, if he kept hiding, it would be too much.

A rush of fighting spirit surged in Zhou Zeping’s chest, feeling his blood boiling, he turned back and shouted to the students: ”If anything really happens, pay attention to your own safety, do not directly engage the hijackers!”

With that, Zhou Zeping himself stood up first, shouting: ”This lady is right, the hijackers have a sinister motive. We cannot sit and wait to die, we have to retake control of the cockpit, or none of us will escape today! I’m going!

”Yes, we cannot be afraid of them, I’m sacrificing myself today!”

”I’m joining too!”

”Count me in!”

”I’m coming too!”

With Zhou Zeping standing up, many men in the cabin followed, and a group of about eight big men moved toward the business class.

But these few were after all a hasty assembly, lacking any tacit understanding. Before standing up, each was filled with righteous indignation and fighting spirit, but after entering the business class, they all started to feel timid.

Some of them went weak at the knees upon seeing the hijackers, and a few turned even paler, losing their resolve.

On the other side, the two hijackers saw several big men suddenly enter from economy class and instantly figured out their intentions, thus they coldly laughed, stepped up a few paces and faced them head-on, with warfare on the verge of ignition, both sides were about to clash.

However, no one had expected that at that very moment, the two hijackers originally strong and ready to handle Zhou Zeping and these men suddenly began twitching, as if struck by paralysis, their faces contorted, eyes rolled back, foamed at the mouth, and fell to the ground, twitching a few times before fainting.

”...”

Seeing this scene, Zhou Zeping and the others were dumbfounded, even the flight attendants were stunned.

Nobody knew what was going on, their minds were somewhat hazy, unable to figure out what trick these two hijackers were up to.

But after just three seconds of dullness, Zhou Zeping was the first to react, he rushed forward, kicked the two hijackers, and seeing they didn’t respond, felt overjoyed. He quickly grabbed the dagger and steel pipe before turning back to shout at the men standing idly behind: ”Why are you still in a daze? Hurry up and help, these two hijackers have fainted, quickly find a rope to tie them up!”

The moment Zhou Zeping shouted, the men returned to their senses, scrabbling over to find ropes, and began tying the two hijackers to the business class seats in a hurry. One layer wasn’t enough, so they used multiple ropes to bind them several times, finally feeling reassured.

But after doing all this, everyone still felt uneasy, instead filled with questions and confusion.

No one could understand why these two hijackers, standing well upright, appearing extremely fierce, suddenly fainted without warning?
