Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 100: NZNT: Chapter 100

The situation on the Valley of Clouds and Lightning, battlefield had become one-sided in favor of Konoha. Itachi, controlling the red Susanoo, charged at the forefront, mercilessly reaping the lives of Kumogakure ninjas.

The Kumogakure ninjas’ various attacks landed on Susanoo, but they had no effect.

With Itachi’s Susanoo as the main attacker and the Konoha army flanking, Kumogakure was completely on the defensive. They could only barely hold their ground for now.

In the center of the battlefield, Yusuke was relentlessly suppressing the Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee.

The Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee were both covered in burn marks, and Killer Bee had partially transformed into the Eight-Tails.

But even working together, they couldn’t gain the upper hand against Yusuke.

”Big brother, this guy seems to have no weaknesses. Do you have any way to deal with him?” Killer Bee asked, standing beside the Fourth Raikage.

Yusuke’s sword and flames were incredibly destructive. Combined with his strange dojutsu, ”Yang Flame,” and his movement technique, ”Enzō no Jutsu,” they were helpless.

The Fourth Raikage looked at Yusuke, who was surrounded by flames, with a serious expression. He decided to use a desperate move that would result in mutual destruction.

In his opinion, it was impossible to defeat this enemy without sustaining any damage.

”You use small Tailed Beast Balls to cover me. I’ll be the main attacker!”

The Fourth Raikage instructed Killer Bee, then mobilized all his chakra, pushing his ”Lightning Release Chakra: Full Power Mode” to its peak. He charged towards Yusuke again.

Facing the charging Fourth Raikage, Yusuke didn’t hesitate. He raised his sword and met him head-on.

Amidst the crimson-red streaks of sword light, the Fourth Raikage had almost no chance to counterattack. He was still being relentlessly suppressed by Yusuke, just as before.

Killer Bee, who had partially transformed into the Eight-Tails, continuously condensed small Tailed Beast Balls at the tips of his eight tails, assisting the Fourth Raikage in attacking Yusuke from the side.

With Killer Bee’s continuous barrage of Tailed Beast Balls, the Fourth Raikage regained some initiative.

Seizing an opportunity to get close to Yusuke, the Fourth Raikage suddenly unleashed a fatal move.

”Raiton no Shunshin !”

The Fourth Raikage, who was already incredibly fast, accelerated even further. In an instant, he unleashed a devastating elbow strike towards Yusuke’s chest, completely ignoring the zanpakutō in Yusuke’s hand and the flames protecting him.

It was clear that the Fourth Raikage was ready to fight to the death!

Looking at the Fourth Raikage, who had completely abandoned his defense, Yusuke quickly flew backwards. At the same time, his ”Yang Flame” activated, instantly igniting the Fourth Raikage’s body.

But the Fourth Raikage completely ignored the flames on his body. His entire body was enveloped in lightning. Using the momentum of his charging elbow strike, he unleashed another fatal move.

”Four–Finger Nukite!”

His arm, which had been bent for the elbow strike, suddenly straightened. The range of his attack instantly expanded. His palm, imbued with the power to shatter gold and split stone, slashed towards Yusuke’s chest.

This hand chop could break through even the defense of a fully formed Susanoo!

Even if Yusuke were to cut off the Fourth Raikage’s hand with his zanpakutō, the momentum of that hand would be enough to cleave Yusuke in half.

Because Killer Bee was constantly harassing him with small Tailed Beast Balls, Yusuke couldn’t even use the ”Himagenya no Jutsu” to transform his body into genjutsu. He could only take the Fourth Raikage’s attack head-on.

(It was mentioned in the previous battle against the One-Tails that Tailed Beast Balls contain 20% Yin Release chakra, which can damage genjutsu bodies in the book’s setting.)

At this moment, the flames on Ryūjin Jakka in Yusuke’s hand flared up. A cylindrical pillar of fire shot straight into the sky, protecting Yusuke within it.

”Ryūjin Jakka: (Enkyo)!”

With this cylindrical ring of fire, a powerful repulsive force formed from reiatsu pressed outwards from around Yusuke’s body.

With this high temperature and powerful repulsive force, except for the Fourth Raikage, who stubbornly persisted, everything within a five-meter radius of Yusuke, including rocks, soil, trees, and so on, was turned to ash and pushed far away by the repulsive force, leaving a vacuum.

The canyon, which had already become sweltering due to the influence of Yusuke’s Ryūjin Jakka, instantly became even hotter. All the ninjas in the canyon felt as if they were standing next to a burning furnace.

All the ninjas in the Valley of Clouds and Lightning were attracted by the towering flames. Their gazes followed the flames towards Yusuke and the Fourth Raikage, who were clashing.

The Fourth Raikage could no longer feel his right arm. His entire body was also burning, and he felt as if his entire body had gone numb. He was now relying solely on his willpower to persist.

Unfortunately, his full-powered ”Four-Finger Nukite” ultimately couldn’t break through the flames filled with repulsive force. Instead, he was slowly pushed away from Yusuke by the expanding pillar of fire.

Gradually, the chakra on the Fourth Raikage’s body weakened. His ”Lightning Release Chakra: Chakra Mode” disappeared. His right hand, which had been resisting the pillar of fire, turned to ash. His burning body, having lost its strength, was pushed far away by the repulsive force of the pillar of fire.

”Big brother!”

Killer Bee cried out in alarm. He immediately dragged his eight tails towards the Fourth Raikage’s location.

At this time, a Kumogakure ninja with Water Release abilities abandoned his opponent and rushed towards the Raikage, releasing a Water Release jutsu towards the Fourth Raikage, whose body was still burning.

Because the flames of Ryūjin Jakka were extremely hot, it took seven or eight Water Release ninjas to extinguish the flames.

But the Fourth Raikage was already lifeless. His entire body was charred black.

”Raikage-sama!”

The Kumogakure ninjas all cried out in grief. Some even cried on the spot.

Kumogakure had a strong martial arts culture. It also had a strong sense of chivalry. They were not only very united, but they all had a strong sense of loyalty. Of course, this culture also had a downside. The entire Kumogakure Village was a bit like a gang.

”Killer Bee-sama, be careful!”

Just then, a Kumogakure ninja exclaimed in alarm. They saw a figure wielding a katana engulfed in blazing flames charging out of the pillar of fire, menacingly attacking Killer Bee.

Influenced by Yusuke’s aura, the Kumogakure ninjas who had originally wanted to go and support Killer Bee instinctively took a step back.

Killer Bee was also intimidated by Yusuke’s aura. He hurriedly condensed a giant Tailed Beast Ball with his eight tails and attacked Yusuke.

Facing the Tailed Beast Ball, which contained immense energy, Yusuke didn’t retreat. With a flick of his wrist, he swung his sword. A crimson slash of light flashed. Using reiatsu, he split the Tailed Beast Ball in half.

Looking at Yusuke, who was approaching menacingly, Killer Bee felt a sense of powerlessness that he hadn’t felt in a long time. He didn’t know how to deal with this enemy, who seemed to have no weaknesses.

”Killer Bee, we’ve lost this war. Quickly take Raikage-sama and retreat!” Dodai shouted to Killer Bee. At the same time, he ordered the Kumogakure ninjas who were still on the battlefield to retreat.
