Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 76: NZNT: Chapter 76

As Orochimaru was busy researching ways to enhance his Ice Release kekkei genkai abilities, Yusuke was in his mind, holding his Zanpakutō to his left arm.

”Are you sure you want to cut it?” Yusuke asked.

”To achieve your goal, this cut is necessary!” The voice of Yusuke’s Zanpakutō, Ryūjin Jakka, rang out.

”Alright, then!” Yusuke sighed, then chopped down, sending a severed left arm, reaching up to his shoulder, flying into the air.

This left arm wasn’t Yusuke’s physical left arm, but part of his spirit body.

After the left arm was severed, Yusuke’s spirit body immediately extended a new left arm. However, the spirit body was dimmer than before, indicating that his soul power had been significantly weakened.

Yusuke endured the excruciating pain of his soul tearing and grabbed the severed left arm. His Sharingan activated.

At the same time, Yusuke’s spirit returned to the real world. At this moment, the Yusuke in the real world was holding a crow in his hand.

Yusuke looked at the crow with his Sharingan and injected his soul power from the severed arm in his spirit world into the crow’s body.

The crow flapped its wings wildly for a few moments before calming down. At the same time, the black pupils in its eyes turned into the same Sharingan pattern as Yusuke’s.

”It worked!”

Yusuke was overjoyed. But at this time, Yusuke felt slightly weak because he had lost a small portion of his spirit power.

It turned out that after the Root organization’s attack on the Uchiha clan, Yusuke realized that the measures he had prepared weren’t enough.

When he was communicating with Ryūjin Jakka, Ryūjin Jakka proposed a method of cutting the soul to create a permanent clone.

This method actually existed in the Bleach world, used by Stark, the first Espada, with his Soul Splitting technique.

Of course, the method provided by Ryūjin Jakka was slightly different from Stark’s Soul Splitting technique, but it was more suitable for Yusuke.

After careful consideration, Yusuke decided to use this method to create a crow clone connected to his soul.

This crow clone would permanently take away one-fifth of Yusuke’s soul power. However, at the same time, as Yusuke’s strength increased, the crow clone’s strength would also continue to increase.

One-fifth of his power was a lot, but according to Yusuke’s current training speed, it wouldn’t take long to recover to his current level.

But with this crow clone connected to his spirit, Yusuke essentially had a teleporter that he could activate at will.

As long as the crow clone used ”Kagero” through its Sharingan, Yusuke could use the ”Flame Walk Technique” to instantly teleport to the crow clone’s location.

Besides being used as a teleporter, this crow clone could also share its vision with Yusuke and use the dojutsu that Yusuke mastered through its Sharingan. It was a valuable asset!

Furthermore, the core of this crow clone was a part of Yusuke’s soul. This meant that even if his physical body was killed by an enemy, the crow clone wouldn’t die and could continue to be used with a new body.

After creating the crow clone, Yusuke quietly experienced the strange feeling of having a soul clone.

At this time, Yusuke was like having two independent brains thinking, interconnected yet not interfering with each other.

”With this crow clone, things will be much easier in the future. I can safely deal with many things outside.”

”And I have a vessel for Shisui’s ’Kotoamatsukami’!”

For Yusuke, this crow clone had another very important purpose: to store Shisui’s Sharingan, which possessed the ”Kotoamatsukami” ability!

In Yusuke’s future plans, he would use the ”Kotoamatsukami” ability to control a very important person.

But to use the ”Kotoamatsukami” ability, it wasn’t as simple as Yusuke holding Shisui’s eyeball. He had to implant it into a living body’s eye socket and activate the Mangekyō Sharingan.

Yusuke didn’t want to gouge out his own eyeball and replace it with Shisui’s. He also didn’t want to give such an important ability to someone else. This put Yusuke in a difficult position.

Originally, Yusuke had even considered using genjutsu to control Hidan’s head, implanting Shisui’s eye into Hidan, and then using genjutsu to control Hidan to use ”Kotoamatsukami.”

This method was obviously very troublesome, but the crow clone simply solved this problem for Yusuke. Now, Yusuke only needed to implant Shisui’s eye into the crow clone!

Looking at the crow clone connected to his soul, Yusuke named it ”Genya.”

After naming the crow clone, Yusuke spent some time in his laboratory familiarizing himself with Genya’s abilities.

Not long after, Kabuto arrived at Yusuke’s laboratory.

Kabuto’s appearance was also arranged by Yusuke. Yusuke wasn’t good at implanting Sharingan, so he had to rely on Kabuto.

This also showed that Rin was a very skilled medical ninja. At such a young age, she was able to implant Obito’s Sharingan into Kakashi. It was clear that she was also very talented in medical ninjutsu.

”Teacher, you said there was a surgery you needed me to perform. Did you get injured in the previous battle?” Kabuto asked with concern.

”Not really.”

Yusuke waved his hand. At the same time, Genya, who had been standing on his shoulder, flew to Kabuto’s shoulder.

”This crow is my summoned beast. Its name is ’Genya.’ Today’s surgery is for it.”

Yusuke didn’t plan to tell anyone that Genya was his clone. He simply defined it as his summoned beast.

”It’s worthy of being Teacher’s summoned beast. It even looks like Teacher!” Kabuto looked at Genya beside him and said in surprise.

Hearing Kabuto’s words, Yusuke’s first thought was that this kid was starting to make jokes.

But when Yusuke looked closer, he realized that Genya’s eyes really looked like human eyes, and they were almost identical to his own. He hadn’t noticed it before.

”It’s just a coincidence,” Yusuke said evasively. He hadn’t expected that the crow clone he had split his soul into would have this characteristic.

He took a container holding a human eyeball out of his pocket and said slowly, ”I’ve asked you to come today because I need you to implant this eyeball into Genya’s left eye!”

The container held Shisui’s left eye, the one that possessed ”Kotoamatsukami”!

Yusuke wasn’t actually sure which of Shisui’s eyes possessed ”Kotoamatsukami,” but he could deduce it from the eye that Danzō had covered with bandages.

In the original story, Danzō had obtained Shisui’s right eye and implanted it into his right eye, which was hidden under bandages.

That eye could only be used by Danzō to temporarily control others with genjutsu. It didn’t have the ”Kotoamatsukami” ability. This showed that Shisui’s ”Kotoamatsukami” was in his left eye!
