Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 99: NZNT: Chapter 99

The Fourth Raikage’s words had barely left his mouth when Killer Bee, holding his notebook and pen, stepped forward again and rapped a verse.

”Yo, yo, yo~”

”The opponent’s strength is strong~”

”Big brother’s crying his eyes out~”

”Little I and I are helping~”

”The opponent will die on the spot~”

”Yo~!”

Hearing Killer Bee’s rap, the Fourth Raikage’s veins popped out on his forehead. But with a major enemy in front of him, he forcibly suppressed his anger. He said with a serious expression, sharing some of the information he had gathered about the enemy’s abilities.

After the Fourth Raikage finished speaking, Darui and Killer Bee’s expressions also became more serious.

”I can’t believe there’s someone this strong in the world～yo!” Killer Bee exclaimed in surprise.

Darui sighed, ”Ugh～what a troublesome opponent.”

After enjoying Killer Bee’s rap, Yusuke turned his gaze to Darui, who had a bitter expression on his face.

The Eight-Tails jinchūriki had to be captured alive. Yusuke decided to target Darui first.

”Fire Release: Himagenya no Jutsu!”

Yusuke clasped his hands together. Two fire phantom crows flew out of his body and landed on his left and right shoulders. Each phantom crow had a pair of Sharingan that looked exactly like his.

At the same time, Yusuke and the two phantom crows’ Sharingan all looked at Darui.

Darui felt an unavoidable killing intent locking onto him. He guessed that the opponent was going to use that eye-burning technique on him. He quickly formed hand seals and completed a simple Water Release jutsu to protect himself.

”Water Release: Water Wall.”

”Yang Flame.”

As Darui had guessed, the Water Release jutsu he had just completed was ignited by crimson flames, making a sizzling sound.

”Lightning Release: Chakra Mode!”

The Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee’s voices rang out simultaneously. In an instant, their figures appeared simultaneously in front and behind Yusuke. Their left arms were aimed at the upper and lower parts of Yusuke’s throat.

There was no doubt that if someone were hit by this move, they would be decapitated.

But the Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee missed. Yusuke had already used ”Enzō no Jutsu” to instantly move through the flames attached to the Water Release jutsu and appeared in front of Darui.

Slicing through Darui’s Water Release jutsu with one blow, Yusuke looked at Darui in front of him. He realized that it wasn’t his real body.

”Shadow Clone?”

At this time, a Darui also appeared behind Yusuke. He and the shadow clone in front of Yusuke simultaneously raised their right hands towards Yusuke. Black lightning flashed between their palms.

”Lightning Release: Black Panter!”

But the next moment, Darui discovered that Yusuke had disappeared. He felt a sharp pain in his right arm.

Sensing that a killing intent was close at hand, Darui slightly tilted his head. He saw a pair of Sharingan with flame tomoe, staring coldly at him.

It turned out that although Darui had cleverly circled around to Yusuke’s back, he hadn’t escaped the sight of the fire phantom crow on Yusuke’s shoulder. The phantom crow had used ”Yang Flame” to ignite his shoulder.

Just as Darui thought he was about to die, his feet suddenly felt light, and his body sank into the ground.

It turned out that Dodai, who had been very worried about the difficulty of dealing with Yusuke, the leader of Konoha, had observed this from afar. He immediately used an Earth Release jutsu to save Darui.

Yusuke snorted coldly. He thrust Ryūjin Jakka into the ground beneath his feet. A red seal spread out from the point of insertion, extending outwards.

The ground covered by the seal instantly dried up and cracked. Large amounts of hot air and steam rose from the cracks.

When Darui reappeared, he was beside Dodai in the distance. But Darui was now on the verge of death. His whole body was red and smelled like meat. He had clearly been severely burned by Yusuke’s jutsu while underground.

Seeing this, Dodai immediately called for medical ninjas to rescue Darui. With Darui’s current injuries and condition, he wouldn’t be able to fight again.

Just as Kumogakure and Konoha were engaged in a decisive battle in the Valley of Clouds and Lightning, a ninja force from the west had quietly reached the border of the Land of Lightning near the Valley of Clouds and Lightning.

The leader of this ninja force was the Third Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, Ōnoki!

To ensure the stealth of their operation, Ōnoki had used Earth Release to travel after approaching the battlefield between Kumogakure and Konoha. This prevented Kumogakure and Konoha from discovering that there was a dangerous enemy hidden nearby.

At this time, Ōnoki was fantasizing about launching a surprise attack while Kumogakure and Konoha were both weakened, wiping out all the ninjas from his enemy, Kumogakure, and Konoha.

Then, he would gather all the forces of Iwagakure and destroy Kumogakure, which had lost its high-level combat strength, completely ending the long-standing feud between Iwagakure and Kumogakure.

Just then, Iwagakure’s intelligence personnel returned to their base and brought back the latest battle situation between Kumogakure and Konoha.

As he listened to the intelligence personnel’s report, Ōnoki’s expression kept changing.

At first, when he heard that Kumogakure had suffered heavy losses and was being suppressed by Konoha, Ōnoki’s expression was very relaxed.

Although they hadn’t reached a stalemate, he was very happy that his enemy, Kumogakure, was being defeated.

But as the intelligence personnel revealed more information, Ōnoki’s expression became increasingly grim. Konoha’s combat strength was far beyond his imagination. More importantly, the person who possessed this intimidating combat strength was a ninja from the Uchiha clan, whom he despised.

When he heard that a young Uchiha boy on the Konoha side had summoned a giant red warrior, a hint of fear appeared in Ōnoki’s eyes.

Ōnoki, who had experienced the First Great Ninja War and had faced Uchiha Madara, naturally knew what that giant red warrior meant.

This news once again awakened the deepest memories in Ōnoki’s heart, reminding him of the fear he had experienced under Uchiha Madara’s control!

”This disciple of Uchiha Yusuke actually has the Mangekyō Sharingan and captured the Two-Tails jinchūriki, Yugito Nii. And he’s facing off against the Fourth Raikage, Killer Bee, and Darui, three people, all by himself.”

”Could it be that this Uchiha Yusuke is another Uchiha Madara?” Ōnoki frowned, secretly becoming more vigilant.

Usually, the people who know you best are your enemies. As Kumogakure’s enemy, Ōnoki knew the Fourth Raikage and the Eight-Tails jinchūriki, Killer Bee’s, combat strength very well. He had never imagined that anyone in the current ninja world could simultaneously deal with those two.

Originally, Ōnoki had come to take advantage of the situation, mainly targeting Kumogakure. Ideally, he would be able to kill the Fourth Raikage.

But after learning about the battle situation, Ōnoki’s plan had undergone a complete transformation!

”There can’t be another Uchiha Madara in the ninja world!”

With his decision made, Ōnoki immediately led his troops towards the battlefield.

When he left Iwagakure, he never imagined that the target he was going to attack would become the target he would have to rescue.
