Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 62: NZNT: Chapter 62

Looking at Yusuke, who was approaching with his katana raised, radiating killing intent, Sasori felt a sense of uncertainty for the first time.

”Escape!” Kakuzu shouted, immediately setting the tone for their actions.

In Kakuzu’s opinion, Yusuke’s flames were not only incredibly destructive but also versatile, making them difficult to break through. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

What scared him even more was the eerie dojutsu and agility. If he wasn’t careful, his old life would be over here.

As soon as Kakuzu finished speaking, several masked monsters quickly returned to his body, and Kakuzu himself quickly moved towards the valley exit on the other side of Yusuke.

”Crimson Secret Technique: Hundred Puppet Performance!”

At this time, Sasori also pulled out his ultimate weapon. One hundred human puppets, each wearing a red cloak, appeared in the air. The small valley suddenly became crowded.

Sasori was very clear that his ”Crimson Secret Technique: Hundred Puppet Performance,” although impressive, relied on quantity over quality. It was very useful for clearing out miscellaneous enemies in a group battle, but it wouldn’t pose much threat to a true master.

Sasori brought out the Hundred Puppet Army not to continue fighting Yusuke, but to confuse his vision and allow himself to escape.

Yusuke naturally heard Kakuzu’s shout. He snorted coldly, ”None of you are getting away!”

Drawing upon the power of the ”Two-Headed Curse Mark,” black curse marks began to appear on his skin. Powerful Yin Release chakra immediately filled Yusuke’s body.

”Flame Release: Gale Fire Whirlwind!”

Yusuke quickly formed hand seals, frantically drawing Yin Release chakra from the curse mark to activate Ryūjin Jakka. Then, he channeled the flames of Ryūjin Jakka to perform a large-scale Flame Release jutsu!

A scorching red whirlwind rose behind Yusuke, engulfing the entire valley, leaving no escape.

Under the blow of this red whirlwind, the nearby raindrops were all evaporated into mist, and the trees surrounding the valley caught fire.

Sasori’s Hundred Puppet Army was instantly ignited by this indiscriminate red whirlwind. For a moment, it was as if one hundred flames were floating in the air, a magnificent sight!

Although the ”Gale Fire Whirlwind” jutsu sacrificed temperature for range, it couldn’t melt gold or iron, but it was still hotter than ordinary flames and could ignite and burn most non-metallic substances.

Seeing the scorching red whirlwind approaching, Kakuzu and Sasori, who were escaping, knew things were bad.

Sasori, no longer caring about the one hundred puppets that were about to be burned, immediately controlled them to gather together, using their bodies to block the blowing whirlwind.

Kakuzu, meanwhile, extended the head of his Water Release masked monster from behind and quickly combined with himself to perform a composite jutsu of Water Release and Earth Release.

A tall, moist wall of earth rose from the ground, blocking the whirlwind from continuing to blow towards him and Sasori.

Under the scorching heat of the whirlwind, the moist wall of earth quickly lost its moisture, emitting large amounts of white steam. The wall also became loose due to the loss of moisture and the high temperature.

Although they had blocked the whirlwind, Kakuzu and Sasori didn’t feel any joy at having blocked Yusuke’s whirlwind.

Standing on top of the wall of earth, Yusuke looked down at them coldly, as if they were two lambs to be slaughtered.

Putting the katana, which was burning with raging flames, back into its sheath, Yusuke gently placed his right hand on the hilt.

As Yusuke sheathed his sword, the golden-red flames that had surrounded him also disappeared, and the stuffy valley seemed to cool down a bit.

But Yusuke’s action of sheathing his sword didn’t make Kakuzu and Sasori feel at ease. Instead, they felt even more pressure.

They could sense that Yusuke wasn’t giving up the chase. He was simply gathering his strength. Once he attacked, it would be a devastating blow!

Under the pressure of Yusuke’s aura, Kakuzu and Sasori both had serious expressions as they thought about how to resist Yusuke’s next attack.

At this time, a spark of fire suddenly ignited in Yusuke’s Sharingan.

Just when Kakuzu and Sasori thought Yusuke was about to launch an attack, Yusuke formed a hand seal in front of his chest, and his body vanished into flames.

At this time, Yusuke naturally sensed the activation of the dojutsu, ”Kagero,” that he had left in Izumi’s eyes. He immediately used the ”Flame Walk Technique” to reach Izumi’s side.

”I’ll spare your lives today. Next time, you won’t be so lucky!”

Yusuke’s voice echoed through the valley. Kakuzu and Sasori looked at each other, confused.

Although they didn’t know why the enemy had suddenly left, they both saw a sense of relief after surviving a near-death experience in each other’s eyes.

”This person is not someone we can handle. It’s a pity about the one hundred and fifty million bounty,” Kakuzu sighed.

Sasori snorted coldly, ”He’s a guy who cares more about money than his life. If he hadn’t encountered some kind of situation and used a secret technique to leave, we definitely wouldn’t have been able to escape unscathed!”

Kakuzu found Hidan’s headless body, which had been scorched by Yusuke’s whirlwind, in the valley. He picked it up on his shoulder, ”Let’s go. Kisame Hoshigaki is dead. Hidan’s body might still be useful.”

Kakuzu and Sasori, with pale faces, slowly walked out of the valley, their steps heavy with dejection. This was the biggest setback Akatsuki had experienced since they started carrying out missions!

”By the way, Kakuzu, all my puppets are broken. Can I get reimbursed?”

”No!”

Yusuke briefly told everyone about his experience, and they learned that he had also been ambushed outside and had actually crossed space directly from Amegakure back to the clan.

Looking at Yusuke in front of them, everyone was happy but also extremely afraid.

If anything had happened to Yusuke or if he hadn’t been able to return to the clan in time, the Uchiha clan would have been completely destroyed tonight!

First, he calmed everyone down. Yusuke brought everyone back to his laboratory.

In his laboratory, Yusuke set up a barrier that could block space-time ninjutsu. Even if Obito returned, he wouldn’t be able to threaten everyone for a short time.

Yusuke left another dojutsu in Izumi’s eyes to protect her. Then, he split off a Genjutsu Crow clone that could last for several hours. The pattern in this Genjutsu Crow’s eyes was exactly the same as Yusuke’s Sharingan, and it also inherited Yusuke’s dojutsu, ”Kagero.”

Looking at Izumi, whose tears hadn’t dried, Yusuke gently stroked her head and said with a smile, ”Izumi, now Kabuto is also injured. I’ll leave everyone in your care. This Genjutsu Crow clone shares my vision and dojutsu. If anything unusual happens, I’ll be there in time!”

Izumi nodded seriously and then asked Yusuke, ”Brother, are you going to deal with Root?”

Hearing Izumi’s words, the smile on Yusuke’s face disappeared, replaced by a terrifying killing intent.

”After tonight, Root will cease to exist!”
