Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 60: NZNT: Chapter 60

Yusuke’s sudden appearance was due to a backup plan he had set in motion!

It turned out that ever since he successfully awakened his Sharingan more than three years ago, Yusuke had gained an ability he had never revealed to anyone before: ”Kagero.”

”Kagero” allowed Yusuke to use his Sharingan to draw upon the power of Ryūjin Jakka, directly igniting the target in front of him. It was almost identical in activation to Itachi’s ”Amaterasu,” except for the nature and color of the flames, which were completely different from ”Amaterasu.”

This ability of Yusuke’s Sharingan didn’t come from the Mangekyō Sharingan. It was a product of the Sharingan being influenced by Ryūjin Jakka in Yusuke’s spiritual world. It was also the reason why Yusuke’s Sharingan looked different from other Uchiha clan members.

After gaining this ability, Yusuke immediately took the opportunity to leave a conditional dojutsu in his sister Izumi’s and mother Uchiha Izumi’s eyes.

This dojutsu was very similar to the one Itachi left in Sasuke’s eyes before he died. However, the ability Itachi left behind was to activate ”Amaterasu” and kill the other party as soon as Sasuke saw Obito (at that time, Itachi thought it was Madara).

The dojutsu that Yusuke left behind, however, was to activate ”Kagero” and protect the host as soon as they were about to suffer a fatal injury, burning away any threats around them.

However, this didn’t necessarily completely eliminate the threat to the host. What made Yusuke most excited about ”Kagero” was that when this ability was activated, it drew upon the flames of Ryūjin Jakka. In other words, the flames of ”Kagero” were connected to Ryūjin Jakka at the moment of activation!

This meant that when ”Kagero” was activated, Yusuke could use his ”Fire Release: Flame Walk Technique” and directly use the connection between the flames and Ryūjin Jakka to cross space and appear beside the host!

It was a pity that the number of times this dojutsu could be activated simultaneously depended on the number of Sharingan. Yusuke, who only had two eyes, could only use this dojutsu on his sister and mother. Otherwise, Yusuke really wished he could leave a dojutsu like this for his disciples, Kabuto and Itachi.

”Yusuke!”

”Brother!”

Seeing Yusuke suddenly appear, everyone exclaimed.

From Izumi almost being fatally attacked, the flames suddenly appearing to protect Izumi, and then Yusuke emerging from the flames, the entire process happened so quickly that everyone was caught off guard.

But after everyone exclaimed, they were immediately filled with joy.

At this moment of great crisis for the entire clan, Yusuke’s appearance was like a shot of adrenaline for everyone. They had found a pillar to lean on.

Yusuke swung his katana, drawing all the surrounding flames into Ryūjin Jakka to prevent them from accidentally injuring his own people.

”Brother! Kabuto, Kabuto, he... he...”

At this time, Izumi looked at Yusuke’s tall figure, her heart relaxed. The pressure of protecting everyone on her shoulders disappeared.

But then, she thought of Kabuto’s sacrifice and couldn’t help but cry to Yusuke.

Hearing this, Yusuke was shocked. He immediately looked at Kabuto, who was being held in his mother, Uchiha Izumi’s, arms, silent and lifeless.

After careful observation, Yusuke discovered that although Kabuto seemed lifeless at this time, and the wooden spikes protruding from his body looked frightening, Yusuke, with his powerful soul power, could sense that Kabuto wasn’t dead. He was in a state of self-repair, pretending to be dead.

During his training with Tsunade, Kabuto had also learned about the ability of Tsunade’s ”Yin Seal Technique.” Although Kabuto wasn’t Tsunade’s disciple, and Tsunade didn’t teach him the ”Yin Seal Technique,” Kabuto, who was quick to learn, had still developed two medical ninjutsu for himself: ”Yin Healing Restoration Technique” and ”Physical Energy Healing.”

In the original story, Kabuto developed these two ninjutsu, largely based on the research of Karin, who had the Uzumaki clan’s constitution. Now, although Kabuto didn’t have the opportunity to study Karin, he could still learn more medical ninjutsu knowledge from Tsunade. Therefore, Kabuto had successfully developed these two medical ninjutsu, and their effects were even better than those in the original story.

At this time, Yusuke also discovered that there was a lifeform inside Kabuto that didn’t belong to him.

”Huh? He actually has this trick up his sleeve. This kid really is a genius!”

It turned out that after being hit by Obito’s ”Sharp Spike Technique,” Kabuto’s hand covering his abdomen wasn’t to cover the wound. He was secretly performing a Summoning Technique, summoning dozens of small slugs to help him repair his body.

But although Kabuto was using various methods to treat himself, he had been hit by the ”Sharp Spike Technique,” a ninjutsu with extremely destructive power towards living organisms. At this moment, his life was hanging by a thread.

”Hey, hey, you bastard, where did you bring me? What about my body?”

Suddenly, a grumpy man’s voice rang out in the tunnel. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice. It was a head tied to Yusuke’s waist. What was shocking, or rather, terrifying, was that the head was actually yelling.

At this time, both Zetsu and Obito immediately recognized the head tied to Yusuke’s waist as Hidan, the new member of Akatsuki.

”Did he single-handedly take down the four members who were ambushing him? And how did he manage to directly return here from Amegakure?”

With a strong sense of doubt and fear, Obito decisively decided to abandon his participation in the Uchiha clan extermination operation tonight.

Not to mention Yusuke, who was incredibly powerful, there was now also Izumi, who could injure him even through the Kamui dimension. If he wasn’t careful, he would die here.

As for Danzō and Root, what did they have to do with him, Obito?

Obito was a man of action. Once he decided that something was impossible, he wouldn’t hesitate to run away. He immediately regained control of his body from Zetsu, White Zetsu, and without a word, he used Kamui to disappear into the wall beside the tunnel.

Obito’s escape was so fast that Yusuke was caught off guard.

Although he didn’t want to let Obito go, Yusuke couldn’t really stop Obito, who had the Kamui ability and was determined to escape. More importantly, Kabuto was still in critical condition. It was more important to treat him first.

”Don’t worry, everyone. Kabuto isn’t dead.”

Yusuke used the hilt of his katana to knock the noisy Hidan unconscious. He walked over to Kabuto’s side, surrounded by everyone’s surprised, fearful, curious, and strange gazes.

The reason for these complex gazes was naturally the head of Hidan on Yusuke’s waist. Although everyone wanted to ask for an explanation, they temporarily suppressed their curiosity because Yusuke needed to check Kabuto’s injuries first.

Yusuke briefly explained Kabuto’s condition to everyone, reassuring them.
