Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 56: NZNT: Chapter 56

”How did you discover that the body wasn’t the target?” Kakuzu asked Sasori, his eyes fixed on Yusuke who had appeared in the valley.

”The body’s hands.”

”What’s wrong with the body’s hands?” Hidan asked curiously.

”The target’s nickname is ’Flame Sword,’ and the information clearly states that he’s skilled in swordsmanship. I’ve turned many samurai or ninjas who are good at swordsmanship into human puppets. These people who are good at swordsmanship have very obvious calluses on their hands that are different from ordinary people.”

”I see!” Hidan exclaimed, looking enlightened after hearing Sasori’s explanation.

Looking at Yusuke coldly, Sasori asked, ”I’ve never met you before. Who gave you my information?”

Sasori was very sure that he had never interacted with this ninja before. Moreover, he was always hidden inside his puppet, Hiruko, when he was on missions. The fact that the other party had called out his identity meant that someone had betrayed him.

”It goes without saying. It must be that bastard Orochimaru. A freak like him who likes to modify his body can’t be trusted!”

Hidan shouted at this time. But as soon as he finished speaking, he noticed that both Kakuzu and Sasori were looking at him with murderous intent. He scratched his head curiously.

With Hidan’s intelligence, he didn’t realize that his words were a bit too broad, including both Kakuzu and Sasori.

”Am I wrong? Only a freak would do those messed-up things to their own body. And...”

”Alright, alright, stop it.” Kisame Hoshigaki kindly interrupted him before Hidan could finish.

Sasori snorted coldly, ignoring Hidan. He looked at Yusuke and asked, ”Did Orochimaru betray my information to you?”

If it were any other time, Yusuke might have been in the mood to chat with them and frame Orochimaru.

But at this moment, Yusuke was determined to quickly finish them off. If something really happened to his clan, the backup plan he had left behind could be activated at any time, and he would be able to return to his clan at any time.

”You don’t need to know anymore!”

Yusuke’s tone was calm. He had a simple, ancient katana in his hand.

Looking at the katana in Yusuke’s hand, which shone with a cold gleam under the moonlight, Sasori said coldly, ”I admit you have some strength, judging from that Fire Release jutsu, but...”

”Ah! I’m going to chop this arrogant kid up!” Before Sasori could finish, Hidan screamed, grabbed his signature weapon, ”Triple-Bladed Scythe,” and rushed towards Yusuke.

Seeing Hidan, who was relying on his immortality to charge directly at him, Yusuke activated his Sharingan. Golden-red tomoe appeared in his pupils.

After all, Yusuke was facing four opponents. The Sharingan could not only provide him with powerful dynamic vision, but it could also cast some unique dojutsu.

Seeing the Sharingan pattern in Yusuke’s eyes, the Akatsuki members were slightly surprised. They had seen the Sharingan before, but this was the first time they had seen a Sharingan with such a strange pattern. They were also more wary of Yusuke.

At this time, Hidan, who had been rushing towards Yusuke, suddenly stopped and stood motionless.

”No good, that idiot is under genjutsu!” Kakuzu exclaimed.

But when the Akatsuki members reacted, Hidan’s headless body had already fallen to the ground with a thud. Yusuke was standing nearby, holding his katana in his right hand and Hidan’s head in his left.

Although Hidan’s physique was very special, even if his head was cut off, he wouldn’t die. But in this situation, Hidan had lost his ability to move.

With his head held in Yusuke’s hand, Hidan roared in fury, ”Ah!! You bastard! I’m going to kill you!”

Shame! The greatest shame of his life! To be beheaded and have his head held in someone’s hand. This was something Hidan had never experienced before.

”Be careful, this enemy clearly has information about our abilities!”

Kakuzu shouted, reminding Sasori and Kisame Hoshigaki.

Seeing Yusuke cut off Hidan’s head, hold it in his hand, and not be surprised that Hidan could still curse even without his body, Kakuzu immediately judged that Yusuke had information about their abilities.

As Kakuzu reminded the other Akatsuki members, another masked monster ran out from his cloak. The mask on this masked monster had purple patterns. It was the Lightning Release masked monster.

”Lightning Release: Fake Darkness!”

”Wind Release: Pressure Harm!”

The Lightning Release masked monster and the Wind Release masked monster beside Kakuzu opened their mouths simultaneously. Three thick lightning beams and a sharp wind blade attacked Yusuke from two directions.

Yusuke easily dodged the lightning beams and wind blades with Shunshin no Jutsu. He appeared in front of the Wind Release masked monster, which was closest to him.

He swung his katana. Yusuke’s katana didn’t hit the masked monster. It was blocked by Kisame Hoshigaki, who stepped forward and blocked it with his decapitation sword.

But as soon as Kisame Hoshigaki blocked Yusuke’s katana, he felt his arms sink. He couldn’t control his feet and took two steps back.

”Impossible. How can his strength be so great?” Kisame Hoshigaki thought in shock.

But before he could think further, he saw Yusuke’s eyes in front of him, filled with killing intent.

”Fūzan!”

As Yusuke’s voice fell, a sound of metal grinding against metal, which made one’s teeth ache, rang out. Kisame Hoshigaki’s decapitation sword snapped in two.

But Kisame Hoshigaki was pulled back as if someone had pulled him from behind. He quickly retreated, escaping the fate of being cut in two like his weapon.

At this time, Kisame Hoshigaki was standing beside Sasori, sweating profusely. A spring-loaded steel cable was wrapped around his waist. It was obvious that Sasori had pulled him back in time.

Yusuke’s slashing power didn’t come entirely from his physical strength. A large part of it came from his Reiatsu.

Through the eruption of his Reiatsu, Yusuke’s slashing power surpassed that of most swordsmanship masters in the ninja world. It also allowed him to easily cut Kisame Hoshigaki’s decapitation sword with his Zanpakuto.

In just a few seconds of fighting, Yusuke had incapacitated Hidan and almost killed Kisame Hoshigaki. This all-round suppression made the Akatsuki members, who had always been arrogant, feel psychologically uncomfortable.

”I didn’t expect there to be such a master in the ninja world. I wonder who is stronger, him or the leader?” Kisame Hoshigaki said in a deep voice.

Sasori, who was standing beside him, also put away Hiruko and took out his trump card, the Third Kazekage human puppet.

Kakuzu gathered his masked monsters around him to prevent Yusuke from defeating them one by one.

Looking at the Akatsuki members who were on high alert, Yusuke smashed Hidan’s teeth with the hilt of his katana and tied Hidan’s head to his waist. Since he couldn’t kill him, Yusuke decided to take Hidan’s head back and deal with it later.

Ignoring Hidan’s incessant cursing, Yusuke held the Flowing Fire in his hand horizontally. Crimson flames slowly emerged from the blade.

”All things, in all forms, shall turn to ash.”
