Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 550: Chapter 408: Imitation Vanilla

Even though Trainers always claim ”equal treatment for all Pokémon,” everyone knows that anyone can be provoked except Mawile. Even the Trainer doesn’t dare to mess with Mawile, which shows just how formidable it is.

If you were to rank them by family hierarchy...

Mawile would definitely be at the top, followed by the Trainer.

As a ”newbie,” it naturally ranks at the bottom. Originally, it had a Feebas as company, but now the latter has evolved into an Altered-color Milotic. Seeing this, one couldn’t help but give praise, and its status naturally soared.

Thinking of how it hasn’t evolved yet made Porygon somewhat melancholy.

Previously, it had suggested to the Trainer that it might evolve with a five-heart bond, but this was denied.

”I’m worried that you’ll be lured away by the Zeroth Machine, and also worried that when you grow up, you’ll look down on me.”

The Trainer’s ”pitiful” expression is still vivid in its memory.

Hearing this, it wasn’t hard for Porygon to realize that it was not dispensable to the Trainer, so it gave up the idea of evolving with five hearts.

But...

Why is it so difficult to earn six hearts?

Porygon almost wanted to wail out loud, but before it could, the Trainer’s voice suddenly interrupted its thoughts.

”Porygon?”

”Pali!”

Porygon snapped back to attention, realizing that Mawile had somehow already emerged from its Pokeball, holding a brand-new smartphone in its hands, and was looking at it curiously along with the Trainer.

Baimu waved a hand in front of its eyes. ”Are you sleepy? Why not rest in the Pokeball?”

”Pali!”

Porygon shook its head and focused on the smartphone.

They called on it because they wanted help deciding which one was more suitable. Mawile certainly had its own ideas, but like a wife who likes to ask her husband which outfit looks better, it sought feedback from the Trainer and its companions.

Then it would make a decision based on its own thoughts.

Feedback?

Just something to listen to casually.

Following the principle of buying new rather than old electronics, Baimu, despite not having a broad understanding of Pokémon World’s phone brands, managed to find the most renowned store and bought the latest product after three minutes of online research.

Brother Fu doesn’t need to worry about the budget, just go for it.

Mawile was now hesitating over the color.

”The color can be easily changed with a phone case. Look at that,” Baimu directed it to look at the wall, where one after another, cute phone cases instantly caught its attention.

”Tchido!”

Mawile couldn’t help but move closer, dazzled by the array of phone cases.

After looking at the prices, Baimu was also stunned, ”Um!”

Even though they had money, he couldn’t justify paying such exorbitant prices, preferring to buy a plain case and DIY—

”Tchido!”

Mawile picked up two phone cases and turned around to smile brightly at him.

”Buy them!”

Without hesitation, Baimu nodded.

Looking at this from behind, Porygon felt emotional. Is this what they call family hierarchy? This is exactly it.

In the end, Mawile’s new phone and the two cases were bought for a total of 280,000, and after including some online packages and such, it totaled 300,000.

Let’s hope it doesn’t create a smartphone-addicted young lady.

Baimu glanced at the eager Mawile, already itching to start tinkering with the phone, and Porygon, which had already dived into the phone, and opted to head straight back to the hotel, allowing them to focus without distraction.

Along the way, he also released the other Pokémon, who had been cooped up in their Pokeballs for a day, to let them get some fresh air.

Steelix was sent back to Pyrite Town. After the battle, it was in a good mood for quite some time.

Restoring Aggron’s mountain range must be even more energized now.

And although Milotic no longer needed to stay constantly in watery environments, it was evidently more at ease where there was water, so Baimu made sure to fill the bathtub with water for it.

”Milo~”

Milotic started to play with the water.

The Pokémon accompanying him for shopping became Blissey.

”Happy~”

Blissey cheerfully carried a bamboo basket out of the door, looking like a little girl going mushroom picking. This was its specialized tool for shopping and gathering.

Hydreigon, using its two smaller heads on the left and right, bit Baimu’s clothes, wanting to go along, but was refused by the latter.

”You clung to me all day yesterday and the day before. You need to learn to be independent.”

He patted Hydreigon’s large head in the middle, ”Be good, I’ll be back with Blissey soon.”

”Shasasa...”

Hydreigon looked aggrievedly at Baimu as he closed the door and left.

——

Li Mauville was vast.

So vast that a single evening would not be enough to explore it all.

So Baimu only went to the West Half District, a street dedicated to all sorts of Pokémon-related tools and materials, which had a good reputation online.

The reason being, it not only had items from the Hoenn Region, but occasionally featured rare items unique to other regions.

Such as the herbs needed for making essence.

The essence recipes obtained recently included many fascinating essences, which required herbs found only in other regions. These herbs, without exception, couldn’t be grown in the tropical climate of the Hoenn Region.

Pure imported goods.

Even Arisa, who owns the Green Hall, had to procure them periodically. Her little greenhouse couldn’t grow too many things.

Arriving at the herbal store.

A strong smell of herbal medicine greeted them immediately, making Baimu and Blissey wrinkle their noses.

But after a moment, they adapted, and it was much better.

Especially Blissey, which quickly calmed down and started searching for the herbs it wanted. Recently, it had received a culinary recipe book from Baimu, with many interesting dishes that it was eager to try.
