Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 531: Chapter 398: Garchomp Evolution (Part 2)

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Water and Dragon Flame exploded, creating white smoke that once again covered the field, only to be blown away by the meteors crashing down afterward.

”I didn’t expect Water Flow Ring could be used like this!”

Alice exclaimed in surprise.

Clearly, it was a recovery-type move, yet now it seemed like a defensive one, smoothly blocking the powerful Meteor Shower.

This made her think of another person who also liked to be ”unconventional” and ”whimsical.”

And after using Water Flow Ring.

Milotic unconsciously felt mentally exhausted, coiling in place and lowering its head slightly to catch its breath. The frequent use of high-power moves was a considerable burden on it due to its lack of battle experience, whether it was energy storage or physical state.

Simply put—

It’s too inexperienced.

After all, this guy is only level forty-six, which is the lowest energy level in the team, so we shouldn’t expect too much.

Baimu also realized this, pulling out a Pokeball from his pocket.

”Dragon Claw!”

Alice’s voice transmitted over.

Although it was unclear if she had noticed Milotic’s situation, apparently she wouldn’t easily let it leave the field just like that.

”Fuka!”

Gible had already emerged from the hole at some unknown time, its short hind limbs moving rapidly to create an unstoppable burst of speed, reaching Milotic in the blink of an eye.

Its front claw lit up with a luminous green light, mercilessly clawing down!

”Block it!”

Clang!

A clear sound of clashing rang out, and then Dragon Attribute Energy exploded into a light mist.

”This is—”

Alice widened her eyes, a red light suddenly flying from afar and absorbing Milotic back.

Baimu looked at the Pokeball in his hand and softly praised, ”Don’t worry, you did very well. Rest well and prepare to come back on stage.”

Although it doesn’t have the Regeneration trait, the Pokémon returning to the Pokeball will inevitably recover its stamina and attribute energy; it’s just that the Regeneration trait recovers significantly more.

On the other side.

Alice exchanged a glance with Gible, confirming she hadn’t mistaken; Milotic indeed used its tail fin to block Gible’s Dragon Claw.

She didn’t expect the attack during its ”weakness” would still miss...

What a terrifying Pokémon.

No.

What a terrifying Trainer!

She understood that Milotic’s watertight defense tactics absolutely came from Baimu’s daily training, which couldn’t help but stir her emotions.

Isn’t battling such a powerful Dragon Tamer one of the main reasons for her journey?

With this thought, Alice unintentionally got a bit excited, ”Great! Let’s keep up the momentum, Gible!”

”Fuka!”

Gible felt the emotions conveyed by its Trainer and couldn’t help but get excited too, raising its little claws and howling.

Meanwhile.

Baimu released his second Pokémon.

Bam!

White light flickered.

Hydreigon landed in the arena.

”Eh? Isn’t it Aggron?” Alice was taken aback.

Earlier, Baimu said he would send out the three Pokémon that resemble dragons the most. The first one he sent was Milotic; she thought the next one would be Aggron.

After all, this Pokémon can learn a lot of Dragon Attribute moves.

From Dragon Claw and Dragon Dive to Dragon’s Pulse and Inverted Scale. It’s almost like Charizard, dragon-like but not a real dragon.

Never expected the second one he sent out would be the ”trump card” Hydreigon.

How strange.

Alice was secretly surprised.

Regardless of her internal mix-up, the early appearance of Hydreigon was actually the result of Baimu’s careful consideration.

The original plan indeed had Aggron as the second Pokémon, but...

Alice was weaker than expected.

The purpose of this battle was to experience the feelings of Dragon-type Pokémon, but from the current situation, she would likely lose before gaining any insight into Hydreigon’s feelings.

Especially if Aggron came in, Hydreigon might not even get a chance.

Could it be to rely on that Aggressive Dragonite to take down Aggron? Perhaps, but it would be a joke if Aggressive Dragonite got easily crushed by Aggron.

A Dragonite that could be easily downed by Milotic’s Charming Voice and Iron Head?

Remember it’s supposed to have the Multi-Scale trait?

The battle resumed.

Since Alice didn’t seize the opportunity while waiting for her opponent to swap Pokémon, Baimu had the chance to issue commands along with her.

”Meteor Shower!”

”We’ll use Meteor Shower too!”

The two Dragon-type Pokémon raised their heads to the sky, each conjuring an orange-red energy bullet and a blue-violet energy bullet. The latter formed more quickly and soared into the sky, with Hydreigon’s orange-red energy bullet following slightly behind!

Boom! Boom!

Like two fireworks blooming in the sky, the ghostly violet meteor and the orange-red meteor fell one after the other, each emitting an extremely terrifying scream as they plummeted toward the opponent’s half of the field!

However, it was clear that the orange-red meteor was much larger than the ghostly violet one, emitting a stronger energy wave that created crater after crater upon impact, forcing Gible to burrow back underground to hide.

Boom! Boom! Boom—!!

The explosions echoed like cannonballs hitting the ground, with thick smoke covering the half of the field where Gible was located.

And compared to this.

Hydreigon didn’t need to burrow underground to easily dodge, as Gible had already used Meteor Shower once, significantly reducing the move’s power, posing no threat to it at all.

”Power of the Earth!”

”Grraarr!”

Hydreigon lowered its head and spat out a mass of earth-colored light, which surged into the ground, instantly creating a crack and rapidly advancing toward Gible’s position.

Alice gasped in shock, ”Come out quickly!”

Even without the Trainer’s reminder, the underground Gible sensed a powerful energy wave approaching.

Unfortunately, it was too late when it tried to escape.

The Power of the Earth came too fast!

Boom!

The ground opened up with an irregular hole, a terrifying Ground Attribute Energy erupted like a volcanic eruption, blasting Gible into the sky!

”Gible!”

Alice screamed in shock.

Immediately.

The smoke-covered Gible landed heavily, with the Power of the Earth leaving numerous scars on its body, making it look rather miserable.

But to Baimu’s surprise, that creature did not collapse but instead stood firm.

”Roar—crack!!”

Gible looked toward the sky at Hydreigon, raised its head, and let out an angry roar, its body covered in radiant sky-blue light, countless fluorescent specks circling around it!

Evolution had begun!

”Grraarr?”

Hydreigon held back its impending attack, while both Baimu and Alice displayed expressions of surprise.

Clearly, even the latter hadn’t anticipated that Gible would evolve today.

According to an unspoken agreement, no matter how long the evolution takes, the opponent and Pokémon must quietly wait, out of respect for the rival and reverence for the transition of life.

Gible, originally looking like a ball, rapidly extended stronger limbs and a very robust body, its head no longer occupying two-thirds of its frame.

From a plump shark cub, it transformed into a fierce small dinosaur-like beast!

Soon after.

The light dimmed.

Gabite appeared on the field, let out a piercing screech toward the airborne Hydreigon, ”Gabite!!”

”Grraarr...”

Hydreigon frowned.

What’s going on with this little buddy of yours? Being so nonchalant? What are you roaring about?

”Dragon’s Pulse!”

Hearing the Trainer’s command, it decided to teach this unseasoned Gabite what being a dragon was all about!

In a flash.

The three heads of Hydreigon simultaneously ignited with tri-colored Dragon Flames, roaring as they spewed towards the Gabite on the ground, the tri-colored Flame merging mid-air, transforming into a ferocious Energy Flying Dragon!

”Let’s use Dragon’s Pulse too!”

Alice’s excited voice rang out.

”Gabite!”

With a new body and strength, Gabite lifted its head, its maw brimming with sharp teeth and boiling Dragon Flames, transforming in an instant into an Energy Dragon Head to clash against the Energy Flying Dragon!

Boom!

The two Energy Giant Dragons fiercely collided mid-air, tearing at each other as if trying to devour each other’s bodies.

Undoubtedly, perhaps due to some changes after evolution or perhaps the new-hand protection period, Gabite’s Dragon’s Pulse power was quite formidable.

Other Pokémon might indeed struggle against it.

However, the opponent was Hydreigon, and the mere initial-stage evolution protection period could hardly withstand the ”Direct-Head Love” of its tri-headed Dragon’s Pulse!

The gigantic Energy Flying Dragon instantly devoured Gabite’s Dragon’s Pulse and, carrying that energy, fiercely crashed onto Gabite!

Boom!

Dragon Flames soared into the sky!

”Grraarr—!!”

The three heads of Hydreigon raised and howled!
