Chapter 533: Chapter 399: Evil Dragon’s Heart (2)

Roar!!

The void was filled with the roar of a giant dragon over the wilderness.

Not long ago, Dragonite wouldn’t listen to Alice’s commands and only did what it thought was right, but now it can faithfully execute instructions.

The shrill Energy Giant Dragon swiftly streaked across the sky, while his opponent had long finished powering up and was waiting.

”Dragon’s Pulse!”

Hydreigon took a deep breath, its chest swelling as if to compress all the surrounding oxygen into its lungs.

Then it opened its three mouths wide, exerting all its strength to spout the tri-colored flames brewing in its throat toward the approaching Dragonite’s forehead!

Boom!

The fierce flames nearly evaporated all the moisture in the air instantly, and the entwined energies transformed into a massive tri-colored fire dragon no lesser than the Energy Giant Dragon, roaring as it collided with the opponent!

Bang——!!

The deafening explosion threatened to shatter eardrums with its resounding boom.

Thick smoke covered more than half the arena with the strong wind, forcing Baimu and Alice to turn sideways to shield themselves from the mixed sand and wind.

While skill collisions are meant to be impactful, honestly, the smoke was excessive.

It was highly inconvenient for the battle.

In the haze.

Alice noticed Dragonite fluttering its small wings back in front of her, surrounded by faint gray-white smoke and some pitch-black patches, evidence of its injury.

Even with a layer of Attribute energy for protection, its physical body bore most of the brunt since the energy explosion only sent ripples to Hydreigon, but Dragonite at the center took it all.

What a loss.

And as Dragonite flapped its wings, the explosion-generated smoke gradually dissipated, revealing the barely damaged Hydreigon in the distance.

The opening strike had clearly left them at a disadvantage.

Alice furrowed her eyebrows tightly.

Meanwhile, Baimu was quite satisfied with the outcome, as Dragonite being injured meant its Multi-Scale Trait was broken, no longer reducing the impact of high-power moves.

He said, ”Evil Fluctuation!”

Alice shouted in response, ”Frozen Beam!”

”Woo oh!”

An ice-blue orb glowed in Dragonite’s mouth, and twisting lightning suddenly shot out, colliding with the three black-violet beams made of dark rings racing forward!

Boom!

Another white cloud burst open, but quickly dissipated.

After two consecutive unsuccessful attacks, Dragonite began to feel agitated, longing for a close combat with Hydreigon.

Alice granted its wish.

”I understand what you mean! Go! Use Dragon Claw!”

”Woo oh!”

Dragonite’s claws glowed with a bright green light, and the energy claws like gauntlets shone brilliantly as it suddenly flapped its wings, rapidly closing in on Hydreigon!

Its current burst of speed was even faster than before, as if the injury hadn’t hindered its state, but even improved it.

Faced with the rampaging Dragonite, Hydreigon chose to unleash its strongest attack.

”Meteor Shower!”

”Sha sound!”

Ignoring the approaching Dragonite, it decisively tilted its head upward, condensing a large orange-red light orb in its chest and abdomen, splitting it into three.

In an instant.

Hydreigon’s three heads simultaneously shot blinding orange-red energy bullets into the sky!

Bam! Bam! Bam!

The sound was akin to grenade launchers firing!

”What’s going on?”

Alice watched in utter amazement; even as a native of Unova Dragon Land who had seen countless Hydreigons, it was her first time witnessing a Meteor Shower split into three before release.

Not only amazed, but she couldn’t understand the purpose of such a move.

Was it really necessary to scatter Meteor Shower one more time before it naturally dispersed?

In the field.

Dragonite had already flown in front of Hydreigon, unhesitatingly clawing towards its central head!

Bam!

The powerful claw strike made a deep thud, sending Hydreigon crashing to the ground like a kite with a broken string.

But to Dragonite’s surprise, its legs were bitten by the other two heads of Hydreigon, forcing it to crash down together to the ground.

At the same time.

The three energy bullets that rose to the highest point exploded like fireworks, and countless meteors with long fiery tails fell crazily like light arrows with a chilling screech, as dense as a highly concentrated meteor shower!

Alice looked at the Hydreigon covered by Dragonite’s massive body on the ground, then at the rapidly falling shining light arrows, and immediately understood Baimu’s reasoning for doing this.

The meteoric light arrows from the explosion of the three meteor bullets were three times more than a single one!

How could this be possible!

”Dragonite, dodge quickly!”

She shouted loudly, but the bite force of the Hydreigon was even more terrifying than she imagined, and no matter how Dragonite struggled, there was no sign of loosening.

Even the fist that Dragonite swung out was bitten by the biggest head in the middle.

By the time Dragonite wanted to swing out another fist, the meteoric light arrows had already arrived.

Thud thud thud thud——

Countless meteoric light arrows fell on its body like raindrops, like heavy hammers, from the back of the head to the wings, body, and tail, almost every part was hit.

Under the intentional control of the Hydreigon, the meteor light arrows around Dragonite were the densest. Even those that did not hit it still exploded with a wave of energy shock that impacted its body!

”Ugh—!!”

Even Dragonite, with its tenacious will, couldn’t help but howl miserably under such a terrifying attack.

”Dragonite! Hold on! Use Feather Rest!”

Alice watched it with great concern, couldn’t help but stretch out her right hand and close her eyes, a flash of golden light lit up in her palm.

Baimu’s eyes widened, ”Dragon’s Heart is here!”

Undoubtedly, this golden light was the mysterious power that Alice gradually mastered to communicate with Dragon-type Pokémon, and at this moment, it was intended to calm Dragonite’s emotions——

How to learn it?

Could he try it too?

Baimu hesitated for a moment and followed by extending his hand, but not knowing what Alice was feeling, he couldn’t even imagine it, only trying to call out to the Hydreigon in his heart.

Without a doubt, he failed.

This whimsical method of use couldn’t emulate Alice’s essence at all.

The rampage of the Meteor Shower had already ended.

Dragonite’s back was full of charred explosion marks, looking somewhat miserable, but somehow many pure white feathers were falling above its body, and when they landed on the charred areas, they emitted a green light that made the wounds recover rapidly.

Feather Rest was in progress.

The Multi-Scale trait was already broken, yet this guy didn’t get taken down by the Meteor Shower, it was quite resilient.

”...Feels like I can’t learn it.”

Baimu looked helplessly at the scene, not stopping Dragonite from continuing to recover.

This battle was mainly to learn Dragon’s Heart, if it was simply to win, now was undoubtedly the perfect time to strike.

Unfortunately, it was not.

The Hydreigon had certainly taken a Dragon Claw hit, but its stamina was still quite healthy.

To be safe, using a Feather Rest one more time...

Baimu was about to speak when a ripple suddenly arose in his heart, as if he felt an urgent emotion, something urging him to give an order.

’If we don’t attack now, it’ll be too late! Hurry up!’

The feeling in his heart developed accordingly.

The source of this feeling came from——

Under Dragonite!?

Was it the Hydreigon? Why didn’t it make a sound? Ahhh! Its three heads were tightly biting Dragonite’s fists and claws! It couldn’t make a sound!

Baimu realized suddenly and shouted, ”Defeat it like this! Inverted Scale!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the urgent emotional fluctuations immediately turned into excitement, confirming to him that his feelings were correct, that he indeed sensed the Hydreigon’s current emotions!

It was achieved so simply and easily!

On the field.

The Hydreigon, ”crushed” under Dragonite, emitted a sinister red smoke all over, eyes lighting up with a piercing red light, and three heads simultaneously exerted force to throw Dragonite high up!

Then its six piece-like wings behind it flapped vigorously, sprinting toward Dragonite with extreme speed!

”Dragonite! Thunder Fist!”

Alice’s voice rang out.

But in its Inverted Scale state, the Hydreigon was far faster than the heavily injured Dragonite, and as the order was given, it had already collided with the latter’s chest and abdomen like a launched rocket!

Boom!

A deep muffled sound!

Dragonite’s body was almost bent in half by the impact!
